Had a terrible experience got told I didnΓÇÖt know gun safety or how to properly load a shotgun then when asking when asking what I was doing wrong the front desk lady just said thatΓÇÖs what IΓÇÖve been told, I used to shoot clays for sport and simply had no clue what I did wrong

Shot here a lot for tournaments and just for fun and it has been my favorite place to go in Texas to shoot, amazing staff, owner, and customers. Everyone is very welcoming and kind!

Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch is one of the best places I have ever shot. So many great memories with family and friends. They go above and beyond in everything that they do, whether that be charity tournaments, NSCA tournaments or just being friendly to people who want to have fun. Can't recommend them enough and always feel like family when I am there.

One of the BEST sporting clays range that DFW has to offer! Travis Mears is an amazing shooter, owner, and all around great guy! The staff is so helpful and always so nice. I recommend this range to everyone from beginners to experienced shooters. They also offer a bunch of different groups that you can join, such as Coffee and Clays on Wednesday mornings, seasonal leagues, even a few ladies nights! If you are a local or even someone stopping by Fort Worth it is a go to spot. 10/10

Saturday the 24th 10:30, excited to shoot here as itΓÇÖs a new place for us to try, am walked in the door asked the kid how he was doing behind the counter he barely responded. Explained weΓÇÖve never been here before and asked how does work, asked about courses and what not and his response was ΓÇ£well first I need yΓÇÖall to scan and fill what it asks you forΓÇ¥. He was Rude to the person that came in to report cowtown 5 not working, he looked at that older gentleman and said ΓÇ£you couldΓÇÖve called us our numbers out there for a reasonΓÇ¥. Now, IΓÇÖm not usually a person that cares about some being a jerk but I will not tolerates rude behavior to my elders especially for no reason. Dont like your job, quit. We wonΓÇÖt be back and will tell our member friends about our experience.

Spent the day there for a charity event and can't say enough about it. There were a lot of folks, and it was incredibly well organized. Breakfast and lunch were outstanding. Best skeet course I have been to. A lot of variation and some challenging sections. Kudos to the staff and management. Thank you for the experience, I definitely improved my shooting skills.
