Q: My question on using your trap shooting range. Is your trap range using a electrical trap througher? and who operates the througher?
A: I was there today and asked that same question they do have throwers but you have to bring your own operator so two people for the range in your own play pigeons.

Q: We know if they've been short staffed this spring? Been three weeks and still got the ranges closed maintenance in progress going.
A: Maintenance will be done by July. I've had the same issue I recommend calling before hand to double check
- cory arnold (a year ago)
Q: Can I fire steel case here?
A: Yes - part of the checking out process is how many rounds did you fire and on which range - but whether it was steel or brass is not an issue

Q: What all if any type of documentation, CCW permit, or hunting license, is needed for entrence do you need to get in?? Do you have a lot of paperwork to fill out or background checks before entering the range?? Any information is greatly appreciated.
A: No real paperwork at all. Even before recent legislation, no permit was required to own, or transport an unloaded firearm. Sign up for a day pass on the ODNR website, I believe you just set up an account with your name and basic info. The rangemaster just scans your pass when you get there.

Q: Can you operate the clay launchers by yourself?
A: No, you need a second person to trigger the launcher.

Great place to sight in a gun. Very safe, people are very friendly. However the bow range is a waste of time and money. Targets are so shot up that your guaranteed to lose arrows. Makes me wonder what the money I paid for the range pass is going torwards.

This is an excellent facility. Plenty of room for pistol, archery, skeet and rifles. Range masters are friendly but monitor facilities and come help remind people of safety issues. Bathrooms and water.

Superb conditions for shooting. The grounds are well kept, the staff know the rules quite well, and the outdoor scenery is great. We only shot at the 25-yard range vs the 100-yard, but was able to still fire the AR-15 along w/the pistols. Will return for more excellent Fall pew pew.

One of the best outdoor public ranges Ohio has to offer in my opinion. Built and open in the last few years. If you go early Saturday or Sunday morning it won't be very busy. Staff is always nice / watchful of people doing things they're not supposed to be doing. Which is good, safety is a priority to them. Target stands, staplers, and tape are provided. You must bring your own targets, as any other range.

Really nice facility and the people working are great. Not your stereotypical range officer Chad that barely made it through high school and thinks everyone is treading on them. Anyway, only downside, and just barely because otherwise itΓÇÖs great, is the frequent range safe calls for people to check targets when itΓÇÖs a little busy.

Beautiful range. Handguns only, handguns and rifles, and a hundred yard rifle range. There is also a shotgun range, but I have not seen it. The cost is $5 for a day pass or $25 for an annual pass. ItΓÇÖs open Wednesday through Sunday.

Been shooting here since college (1993 ish) and it has always been a decent place. With the new improvements, it is a really nice place to shoot. Closed Monday and Tuesdays but open all year round. Last shot at 4:40pm. Range pass for the day is available ($5) down the road the awesome sporting goods store in Norton. Ranges for handgun, rifle, shot gun, indoor and outdoor archery. Can be quite crowded on the weekends but the range staff are friendly and keep a close eye on safety. Highly recommended.
