Very nice place, the staff are well knowledged, I was in need of a little instruction and it was openly provided without judgement. Safety was always first Priority. Rules and regulations were provided Once we were on the range. Very well done.

Absolutely fantastic! My wife and I are new to pistols and benefited greatly from the range officer's guidance and knowledge. Even more importantly, we always felt safe, welcomed, respected, and were able to proceed at a pace that was comfortable to us. All areas of the facility (ranges, cafe, store, classroom, bathrooms and group event area) were very well maintained. We highly recommend Distinguished Pistol!

First time shooting at an outdoor range and I loved it! The owners are knowledgeable and they donΓÇÖt mind helping you out when needed. Makes you feel comfortable. They have a cafe, cigars, wine, a little bench press set on one of the porches to get a quick workout in and other perks if you become a member so thatΓÇÖs what my group did! Check them out.

Great outdoor shooting range. I'm not a member, prices were reasonable and comparable to other shooting ranges. Their handgun range had paper targets that we're stationary. I'm used to ranges where you can adjust the distance of the targets, and change the paper targets as needed. If you want to shoot your rifle, you've got to zero it in before they let you on to the rifle range, the rifle range has a lot of long-range targets. It's hard to see and or know if you're hitting those targets unless you bring a good pair of binoculars for your spotter. The shotgun range was basically a big open field with a few targets that seemed difficult to hit or know you hit. I heard they had skeet shooting there, which probably improves the experience. Overall, there are very good people there, very friendly staff very helpful, they don't make you feel like an idiot because guns aren't your profession or your world. I would recommend paying them a visit, if you want to squeeze off some rounds.

Best experience ever. The owners are very friendly and made my visit so memorable. After shooting at 2 of the many ranges, We went to the cigar bar for a cigar and glass of wine. The wife and I had a nice conversation regarding the future builds. My husband and I will definitely visit every time we come to NC.

OMG, this place is AMAZING. The different areas for handguns and rifles are awesome. The cafe and cigar lounges are perfect after a day of shooting. The best part are the owners and staff. They are so welcoming and friendly. They make you feel right at home and make you want to come back and visit. Im DEFINITELY coming back.

I just had great experience at this range. It was my first time as I was a gust with friend. The building and grounds of this facility is top notch. I met the owner, Clint and Eric was running the range. Both are very friendly and offered helpful advice. ΓÇ£IΓÇÖll be backΓÇ¥.

IΓÇÖve been looking for a range to call home for a while and I believe that I have found it. This place is just amazing. The kind of place that real shooters want to escape to. I visited here today with my kids to shoot a little and take a tour. We were greeted by very professional and welcoming young folks who turned out to be the ownerΓÇÖs children. One of the owners was on the firing line and was in perfect control and keeping a close eye out for yahoos. I loved this because IΓÇÖve been to several ranges lately that do not vet or monitor their shooters in any way which is terrifying. The other owner which I talked to on the phone was running the office for an after hours event. The property is just beautiful and I canΓÇÖt wait to get back. Places to BBQ for events, a pistol range that rivals most ΓÇ£rifleΓÇ¥ ranges in the area, a 300 yard rifle range with a state of the art firing line, an in process shotgun range and a 3D archery range. A pro shop, bathroom facilities, a cafe and a classroom building. The only problem with this place is that I donΓÇÖt own it. Ha! ItΓÇÖs perfect. Update ~ Ashamed to say that I am just getting back and purchased a membership. Its been 2 years and the improvements made and new facilities added demonstrate to me that serious reinvestments are being made here! I am proud to be a member now. Had a great time talking with Clint and getting to know him a bit. Looking forward to getting back on a more regular basis!

Genuinely one of the best ranges I've used. All of the staff are competent and have excellent customer service skills, which isn't something you always find in the firearms industry. There is a good variety of ranges to use, but if you plan on shooting there often (more than twice) the membership is definitely wanted.

A really fun range. Leave TSA and other paper-puncher ranges behind. The options here are vast-- 22LR alley, shotgun sports, rifle ranges to 300m, archery, pistol lanes and steel... Pro tip-- get a membership and target/steel cards.

This is the best gun range in the area. I have attended over three times with our shooting club/fraternity and each time was outstanding. The staff was great and made sure all of our needs were met. Our group had lunch after shooting and the food was great. Some of us traveled a great distance (I drove about an hour) and would continue to do it each time.

Distinguished pistol is worth the trip. My daughter and I went and had the pleasure of meeting Clint. Diverse options for all skill levels and weapons. Clean, safe, and extremely professional and knowledgeable without arrogance. If you donΓÇÖt go, you are missing out on a real gem. Hats off and much respect to Clint. Thank you for your service, kindness, and education. Pro Tip: Do not speed on the gravel road on the way in. You have been warned. ;)

Wow. Just wow. This place was built with love and passion. It's a vast oasis with beautiful landscaping and structures. I crave going here all the time. The family that runs Distinguished Pistols is caring, professional, and always a pleasure to be around. They are extremely well-educated on their craft and really responsible. The grounds are beautiful and their equipment is tip top. I'm just in love with this place. They knocked it out of the park!

Hands down the best marksmanship instruction IΓÇÖve had! Made both my girlfriend and me feel very comfortable and taught us a lot as first-timers. Will definitely be making the trip out again!

My husband and I had an amazing time at this family-run range, including great instruction from Clint, the owner, and learned all of the basics of gun safety and shooting. It's a place for beginners (like us) and experts, alike. You can also get your gun cleaned here while you have a cold beer afterwards! As an added bonus, this is a really beautiful and well-maintained facility. We will definitely be back!!!
