I took the NRA Basic Pistol Course with DJK Industries. Virginia is a very experienced and knowledgeable shooter and instructor. Despite being an experienced shooter myself, I learned a few things and refreshed my knowledge in other areas. I would 100% recommend DJK Industries to not only new shooters, but also experienced shooters as well.

I took this course as a first-time shooter. The basics were thoroughly covered in the classroom, and the laser training system is very useful in learning aiming skills. Safety is emphasized on the range(and in the classroom of course), alleviating any nervousness you may have(I was) as a beginner. The cleaning of the pistols afterward is a good way to learn the workings first-hand. Taking the basic pistol course from Virginia is highly recommended.

Hands down one of the best experiences I have had. Very knowledgeable instructor, plenty of one on one time, and I feel so much more confident handling and shooting a pistol.

Spent today with Virginia from DJK Industries getting my NRA Basic Pistol shooting class. Had a great time. The classroom was very comfortable with excellent visual aids. Her on-site outdoor range is outstanding. It is nestled at the edge of the wood with a covered area for shooting in inclement weather or you can shoot under the wonderful Georgia Oaks. If youΓÇÖre going to take the class I would recommend her hands down.

Took the Basic Pistol course with Virginia. Material was presented in a comprehensive way that was easy to grasp. She took the time to make sure everything was fully understood and her experience allowed her to answer the questions I had outside the curriculum. Would totally recommend the course and her instruction for first time shooters as well as those who need to polish things a bit.

Completed Basic Pistol Qualification in a 1 day course. Instructor is highly qualified NRA instructor. Small class size ensured personal attention. Instruction included classroom, dummy pistols, laser target simulator, and extensive outdoor, .22 caliber or personal pistol shooting to NRA qualification. All conducted in an enjoyable atmosphere.

NRA Basic Pistol class with Virginia was great. I've taken an NRA Basic Pistol class a couple of times over the years, first for myself many years ago, and then with others (e.g. accompanying my wife when she got her first pistol), and just recently took it with Virginia for my teenage (15) son. This was, by far, the best of the them. Virginia is a patient, competent, experienced teacher. Her background is built on handling firearms professionally, and it shows in everything about this class and her presentation. It was as serious as it needed to be, and she also kept it friendly and fun. Her classroom is well-appointed and comfortable, and a welcome change from the sterile "four walls and a whiteboard" I've seen at ranges. She has an outdoor range on site that's safe and comfortable, with ample cover from sun and rain (we happened to have perfect weather for our day). Her husband provides additional supervision and support on the range and is a pleasure to talk to, also very knowledgeable and experienced. Her coaching on the firing line is positive, helpful, and she was able to move quickly between levels helping a new-shooter son and me, a less-new but very rusty shooter with some bad habits. For myself, I know I improved. I can and will recommend Virginia above all others at this point. If you're serious about learning good handling and getting off to a good start, she is the instructor you want.

Virginia was an awesome instructor. Learned a lot and left with the knowledge and confidence we came for. I really enjoyed working with them. Highly recommend!
