Q: What does a membership cost?
A: Regular membership is $20/mo. in 2019. No range fees & free rentals. Their ultimate is $40/mo and includes free training classes.

Q: I am a senior and would like to earn a Concealed Carry Permit. When are your new classes and what do I need to do before I can take your course?
A: They have ultimate memberships which include free classes. You would need a pistol to start with and then need to apply with your local sheriff or police department. After you submit the application you can register for a class. The classes are available on the website under the class schedule tab on the main page. If you can go in and the sales staff would be happy to help you out and give you more information

A: 25$/ HR for one lane, an additional shooter is 19.99 to share your lane. This includes one target. Firearms rental is 20$ Safety glasses required can be purchased for 2$ must bring your own ear pro.

Q: how old do you have to be to take the hunting test
A: Under 18y/o a junior hunting license is required with additional licences and age requirements needed pending on the game hunted. If over 18 then a normal hunting license is required.

Q: If you've never shot a gun before, can you rent at the range and be given a demonstration?
A: You can rent guns there and try before you are ready to buy one and if you want to rent one you will need to have someone else there with you to try one of many different firearms.

Wanted to repost to say how much Down Range rocks! Steve Dyke, one of the owners of Down Range, personally reached out after finding my water bottle and helped me get it back. It turned out one of their ex-employees took it home and removed the wrap on my yeti bottle. Steve refused to let the matter settle with just firing the employee and really wanted to help me. Steve ended up paying for a brand new wrap for my yeti and I couldnΓÇÖt be happier. Thank you Steve, because of you I am now back happy at Down Range shooting away!

Gun order went smooth, delivery in days. Great help on filling out DOJ paperwork. Update: Finally picked up gun after DOJ added 30 days 2x for no good reason but finally got it. Friendly good staff at Downrange !

I have used this range a few times- it is well organized, safe, and clean. Fair prices. I recently was helped by Jillian, a staff member at DownRange. She was as helpful and knowledgeable as she was friendly. She helped me pick and book the courses that were best for me. I recommend asking for her if you call. Chico is lucky to have this company around.

They have a lot of product placement and a lot of old product lot of new product that's coming out I thought it was very organized and their safety for themselves and their customers they were very knowledgeable on what paperwork do you need to begin the process even though it could be frustrating it's just how it is they don't beat around the bush that's just how it is

My initial inquiry was answered by Jillian in a timely manner. I then went to Down Range and met Jillian who is personable, helpful and friendly. She explained procedures thoroughly and registered me for my first gun class. Some businesses in Chico have lost their helpful attitude. Jillian and Down Range has not and makes me feel appreciated as a client. Thank you Jillian. I always appreciate the helpful individuals at the desk. Thank you for your prompt assistance.
