Pros: Recently the store redesigned the interior and it looks great. They offer rentals, guns, ammo, and a plethora of accessories. The staff is friendly and does very well about getting to their customers in a timely manner. The range is very high quality for the size of the building The established are knowledgeable and actively do their part to teach their newer staff about the processes required to purchase a firearm and the laws surrounding it! Customer service over the phone and in the store has been very reliable Gun prices are very competitive and fair This store does raffles for firearms and contributes to the community in other ways as well. This isnΓÇÖt your average mom and pop shop Suppressors are sold here Cons: The range is sort of small and cannot host too many people at once. If you go on a Friday or a weekend you may have to wait in a queue Lots of new staff that are currently learning the ropes so be patient Holster variety is very limited This store doesnΓÇÖt follow traditional Brady laws, so if you get an FBI / nics delay you will have to wait it out regardless of the time of tolerance granted to us by federal law.

Love the range, been going for decades, even back to Wolverine days. I like to get up and get going and the 10am open time on Saturday is a bit late. Downriver Guns needs to review the traffic volumes by hour on google. It shows more traffic earlier each day then later.. So it would likely improve the business volumes to shift to 9 am start - 8pm close. The Google traffic data speaks for itself.

I despise silencershop and the process but Randy worked to get my issues resolved so IΓÇÖm very grateful to him. The employees are great, helpful and friendly, except the one tall guy with curly/wavy hair carrying 2 mags. IΓÇÖm not even talking to him and heΓÇÖs making weird remarks lol.

Not worth it when Range USA is 5 min away and Troy only 40min away. I'm from downriver and was tired of driving out to Troy to The Sportsman's Warehouse for FFL transfer. This place not 5 minutes from my house has made me want to drive out to Troy. I will continue to drive out to The Sportsman's Warehouse where they know how to treat their customers.

IΓÇÖve been here twice now and everyone have been so nice, extremely informative and very helpful!! I like that women shoot for free on Tuesdays (just pay for ammo). I highly recommend!

I went through Downriver Guns for CPL Training at the Grecian Center in Southgate, back in August. Chuck, the CPL instructor was great as was all the presenters. I strongly recommend them for CPL Training. The USCC membership they ask you to sign up for (with free goodies, if you choose to), can be a bit pricey for the cost conscious, but the benefits do sound superb. I received 30 days of free range time afterwards and I definitely put it to good use. Gotta go back when I get the chance. The staff there are great and friendly. They are the first professional gun range IΓÇÖve been to and let me tell you, itΓÇÖs nothing but a great experience.

Excellent store with a knowledgeable staff. Range is always clean and comfortable. Store is well stocked. Staff seem to legitimately want to help a customer over making a sale. Have used them for multiple purchases and transfers wouldnΓÇÖt shop anywhere else.

Rude as hell came in for a simple purchase today I donΓÇÖt like the attitudes of the staff so 1 bad day got you a 1 star review. ItΓÇÖs a way to deal with things one guy just made me not want to spend money here plenty of others to go to.
