Q: A friend and i are visiting dallas in a few days, and we are looking for a good range. This seems to fit what we want, but we are both under 21, are we able to rent if we are active duty military?

A: Yes. Active duty military in the eye of the us government you are to be treated as you are 21 you can go out and buy a pistol at 18 years old if active duty.

A: I'd imagine they'd be respectful and welcoming to active duty visitors! Again, I'm unaware of Texas laws preventing you from renting if you're under 21. Perhaps pistols an issue vs rifles? The staff are amazing here as well.

Q: Do you buy gun too?
A: They buy and sell a number of models based on if they can sell them. There is limited shelf space for products there. You would have to ask them yourself. They can special order you firearms though if that is a question. They generally do not buy long rifles or revolvers.

A: I do it there, as long as you keep within the 1sec rule between shots. (I shoot my full auto there but you have to tether it to the bench)

Q: What is the correct protocol for arriving with your firearms? In a case, slide open, not is a case? Holding it open. Asking for a rookie freind lol
A: Hi Jeff, All Firearms should be in some type of case and unloaded. They should not come out of the case until it is on the shooting bench in you lane, on the shooting bay. If you are carrying your firearm on your person as an LTC holder, let the RSO on the bay know and they will let you know how they want you to unholster it at your shooting bench

A: Hi Ren, Yes, you are always welcome to pick up your own brass. Just give the RSO a heads up so they donΓÇÖt accidentally sweep it down range. Thanks for asking!

Very nice range, clean, well lit and ventilated but, the RSO was terrible. The person next to me showered me with hot casings nonstop. I had to leave as I had burns on both arms. Stayed 35 minutes, paid $32 for this. Edit after the edit: Yes he did speak with him but it continued. It was not a matter of stepping back, it was going over the top. It went from landing mostly on my hands and bench to my head and arms.

We had a great overall experience; the staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility was very nice and clean including the restroom. We will definitely be returning in the near future. 👍

Great range. Safest one in the area hands down. This review is less about the range and more about the LTC course with John. 5/5. To be honest more like a 11/10. John is VERY knowledgable, they should be charging double. Thanks guys!

The guy was a jerk and targeted us from the beginning. Spent hard earned money and got kicked out cause he felt like it. Never been treated so poorly, and we go shooting all the time. There are way better places. Save your money and go to any place else. This place SUCKS!

Went to take my shooting exam for my LTC-104 . The instructor was great and easy to work with and was able to rent out my equipment for the test. They made everything so easy for the test and also liked how they ran their range. Recommended for anyone close by that needs to get your LTC or just wants to go to a good well structured range. Plus they give free gum safety classes for kids up to 17.
