First time at this particular location, I used to go to PSA but now I'm making Elite my go to range and gun shop, Paul makes you feel like family and is always eager to teach or help you if you so need it, I felt like I went shooting at a comedy club because every time Paul opened his mouth there was some joke coming out of it 🤣🤣 I recommend going there if you are a beginner or an experienced shooter, very relax atmosphere..

As my first time ever even holding a gun, I felt so welcomed and comfortable! Paul was AMAZING to me and my group, giving us full instruction and so much knowledge. Definitely will be returning to this location and recommending to my friends/family!

Went in to zero my sights on New AR build and break in my new pistol… ended up leaving with a ruger for edc. Thanks guys! The whole staff makes your experience great. Welcoming, knowledgeable and informative. Paul gave me valuable advice that helped me become a shot.

Ten days ago, I purchased a 22 pistol and ammunition from the same person at Elite. Today, I went to their range to fire it for the first time. There was an immediate and constant problem. The pistol would not reset after each shot. After each shot, I had to rack the slide in order to fire again. I asked one of their counter guys for help. He determined that I was sold the wrong ammunition. He then went to the owner, or so he said, to explain the problem. His response was ammunition is not returnable and I would have to purchase new. They're the experts. They gave me the wrong ammunition for the gun I was purchasing from them at that time. Whose fault is it? In any case, they lost a customer. Instead of simply replacing a $20 box of ammunition, they opted to not correct their error. There are too many other gun stores and ranges in the area to put up with this poor customer service. Since posting this review several months ago, I have been going to a better range at least twice each month and have purchased at least a thousand rounds of ammunition and another pistol. Their loss over a their $20 mistake. They act nice until there is a problem. Then they turn a deaf ear to you.

Elite Firearms is the best! Yonnie can create any kind of custom firearm that you are looking for and they have a great range at the Murrells Inlet location. You can even shoot glow in the dark targets! Everyone that works there is really nice and helpful. My 380 kept jamming for some reason so I decided to leave it overnight and they found out that it had a piece of metal stuck near the firing pin. They fixed it super fast and now everything is all good. This store has a large selection of very unique guns. Paul the range master has a wealth of knowledge and is a very patient instructor. Cade at the front counter is a very friendly young man who made some great suggestions regarding which guns to shoot.

I would not go again.4 years as a U.S.Marine and 9 as an overseas contractor for the Department of State I was told I could not do head shots on MY target.... I paid for my lane and my bullet and was told I could not shot head shot by because I was not law enforcement.... Ok there is plenty of other places I can drive to then this place

Paul was amazing. it was my first time at a shooting range, and he made me feel comfortable and confident. He took his time and thoroughly explained everything to me. He made sure i understood and was comfortable throughout the whole process. I will be going back again, and i recommend everyone check them out. very nice gentleman there.

Went here with my father today to learn how to shoot and got the best service we have ever experienced at a gun range. Paul and his team will answer any and all questions you have and their lesson was extremely informative. I went in not knowing anything about my Glock and walked out feeling like an expert. I highly recommend this range to anyone looking to learn about shooting!

Just had a range lesson with my son with Instructor Paul. CouldnΓÇÖt have asked for better training. Was super patient with all the questions we had. Recommend people to come to this Range. Paul is one of the coolest guy IΓÇÖve met and is a well instructor . He knows what heΓÇÖs talking about and shows the proper way to hold/shoot a gun . Definitely coming back here on my next trip .

Great experiences at Elite Shooting Range. The store has a great selection of pretty much anything you need and want. The range is clean and very well-ventilated. We purchased two handguns, and couldnΓÇÖt be more pleased. Paul was awesome to work with. When we came back to shoot, Paul gave us some training. Without a doubt, heΓÇÖs the very best instructor either of us have ever worked with. HeΓÇÖs more than capable, is patient, super nice, and is an exceptional instructor. Definitely the place to go!

If you are into shooting or just getting started, you owe it to yourself to come visit this gun store and shooting range. I am from North Carolina, and I had my gun with me this trip. I had some malfunctions at a different range before coming to the beach . My son bought me this gun for Christmas. I called ahead to make sure it was OK to shoot my H&K 416 22LR . I made some adjustments to my gun and needed to test it out to see if the gun would shoot without any malfunctions. I was greeted by two of the most friendly people I have ever met at a gun range. I was at the range by 10 am. I had time to fill out some paperwork, and I was escorted into the rage. I was the only one in there, but it was not long before the atuesday gun club came in. My adjustments worked, and the gun shot 570 rounds with no misfiring. I want to thank Elite Firearms for taking great care of me while I was there. After shooting, they had the handguns I had been looking at. They took their time with me to show them to me and let me hold them . I felt like I was part of their family . Just because I was a bew gun owner, they made me feel like I was an old friend they had not seen in a while. I very much enjoyed myself at the range. I will be back to shoot there again. Again, many thanks for the warm welcome.
