English Pit Shooting Range

A: We do allow double and triple taps. Anything beyond that we require at least 1 second between rounds. The only time transitional shooting or drawing from a holster/concealment is allowed is if someone is in a scheduled and certified training session being conducted by a licensed instructor on a reserved range. If we did allow one person to draw from the holster or perform transitional shooting, we would have to allow everyone (to prevent the cries of discrimination from those who want to try it). Most who are skilled with this style of shooting should be very worried if a rookie saunters up next to them and wants to give it a try.....for the first time.

A: The English Pit Shooting Range currently has 31 lanes of fire across 4 ranges. The handgun range has a total of 8 lanes of fire; 6 lanes at 10 yds and 2 lanes at 20 yds. The rimfire rifle/shotgun range is a 50 yd range with 6 lanes of rifle fire and 1 lane of shotgun. The 50 yd centerfire range has 8 lanes of fire. The 100 yd centerfire range also has 8 lanes of fire.

A: No archery. They have centerfire rifle 50 & 100 yards. 50 yard rim fire rifle. And 10 & 20 yard pistol range!

A: Hi Mathris, Actually, we do have a web site - englishpit.com Are range fees are currently $26.70 (+tax) per adult shooter. Minors 17 and under are $15.90 (+tax). These provide a full day's access to all of our ranges for as many firearms as you would like to bring in. They also included re-entry privileges, so you are welcome to come-and-go to & from the range as often as you like for that day. You are welcome to bring and use your own ammo and paper of cardboard targets; we DO NOT charge any additional fee for you to do that. We do sell ammo & targets for range use. The only time we require visitors to purchase and use our ammo is if they rent any of our firearms. With no exception, we only allow our ammo to be fired through our rentals. We have a Loyalty Program where we keep track of your visits and after 7 visits your 8th visit is FREE. For regular visitors we sell heavily discounted 4-day prepaid passes. Each use counts towards the 7 paid, 1 free Loyalty Program.

A: You are welcome to bring your rifle with existing standard capacity magazines for use at the range.

A: Yes, full metal jacketed bullets are welcome at the range.

A: Yes, we have a single, dedicated lane of fire on one of the 50 yd ranges where shotguns that fire birdshot, buck shot and slugs are welcome. We do not have moving nor flying targets at this range; stationary targets are fastened to target stands located approximately 50 yards from the firing line.

A: We charge a flat daily rate of $23.96 +tax for the entire day, for as many firearms as you care to bring in. This included re-entry which allows you to come and go from the range as often as you like. We never charge you any extra fees for bringing and using your own ammo in your own firearms. (Should you rent any of our firearms, we do require the use of our ammo only.) After 7 visits, your 8th is free.
