Questions & Answers

Q: Hi, can anyone join ? IΓÇÖm from Ohio & have my CCW permit. I want to come shoot at your outdoor range. How much to join ?

A: Go to there website and download all the forms. Print them out and fill them. Make a copy of your CCW and drivers license both back and front and each on it's own individual paper. Then wait for the general meeting held on the second Sunday of each month except May that they have no meeting. Annual dues are $200 but prorated to the month you started. Anual dues are due on July 1st so they prorate from there. Theres also a $50 initiation fee. Shop around and you will not find a club with better prices than this. Others charge you on front and you have to wait months before you can even use the range.

Finally!!!!!! A gun range for real shooters and firearm owners! Found this place by way of Google and went to see it for myself. Went inside and asked about membership and was taken on a tour by Dennis (I believe). He took the time to show me the entire range and all the amenities. Due to his informative and genuine personality, I completed an application for membership within two days of the tour. This place is awesome and appears to be one of the safest ranges I have been to within the State of Florida. Nice friendly group of people that run, work, and utilize this range. Glad I became a member.

The Eustis Gun Club continues to recruit new members. A major factor that people express is the friendliness of members and the commitment to a strong safety presence. The Club facilities are maintained daily and reflect a commitment to members. Happy to be a long time member.

Safe and secure, professionally trained RSO Staff on duty during operating hours, shaded pistol berms that allow movement, and drawing from a holster, for more realistic and effective tactical, and action scenario disciplines training. Home of one of the largest and fastest growing IDPA clubs in the state. Action cowboy shooting with monthly matches. State of the art shotgun venues, many different disciplines, and a great youth program too. Shaded rifle ranges from 25 - 200 yards. What a great place to exercise your 2nd amendment rights!

One of the most affordable outdoor ranges in the area. This range offers a lot and they keep it clean and user friendly. We've taken our son out as well and it is an environment that we feel is safe to bring our son to teach him to shoot. I've also seen many different events out there at different times throughout the year. They even have lights on one of the ranges for night shooting, which is great when you work all day and have a couple hours you want to shoot in. They also do a lot to support the kids who are interested in shooting too. I highly recommend Eustis Gun Club.

I primarily go and shoot IDPA matches here and the shooting bay areas are well kept and pleasant to shoot due to the shades provided by the big oak trees. Despite unable to shoot steel targets and shoot on the side of the bays due to safety and limitations of the bays, this place is still good shooting range. Most of all, the LCIDPA organizers and participants who come here are awesome people.

Good but not great. The people that are RSO's, administrative staff and those running the shotgun courses are all great people. The negatives about this range really come down to the logistics. It's only open from 7-5 during the summer and it's unfortunate that there is over 3.5 hours of daylight after 5pm right now (early June) and I'm unable to go to the range and shoot a handgun at targets 10 yards away. As MANY others have stated the inability to shoot steel is an issue that's been well documented and I won't get into that unfortunate reality. It's also disappointing how expensive IDPA is and that no IPSC is offered. These may not specifically be the clubs problems but they are still detractors since Daytona beach offers IPSC and their IDPA is only $10 instead of $25. I'm thankful for the range and the people there but a few small changes could really make a big difference and it's not unreasonable or unusual (compared to other outdoor ranges) to offer opening until sunset.

I have only been to this club as a visitor and didn't even shoot one bullet while there. I wanted a tour of the facility before i even considered being a member. Other clubs in the area wanted to actually charge me $ to tour there facility? I was given a tour by one of the members, mind you the member is not on the board or anything he is just another member. He showed me the facility, introduced me to some members that been there for years and we talked about the rules and regulations of the range. Was mentioned by another member how right now the range is going through a transition and not everyone is happy with the decisions being made, some mayor and some as minor as young shooters not being able to shoot ballons anymore? Anyhow the range is well kept ,safety was great. They actually have red and blue lights at each of the lanes to let shooters know if the range is hot or cold. I know what's so great about lights right? Well it's a visible more noticeable way to indicate the range condition that just people yelling around. with all the noice not everyone hears the change of range status. Now I'm just waiting for the monthly meeting because by chance i was visiting the same day as the meeting was taking place and i didn't know. But by next month i will be a member. EDIT**** As of Dec 9 2018 I'm a full fledged member of the club.

I have been a member for decades but I can no longer recommend the club to anyone. The current board of directors have recently made several decisions which in my opinion are detrimental to the future of the club. They will not allow a Well Armed Woman chapter to form because of some incident which nobody has put into writing as to what exactly happened and there are several different vague stories. Balloons have been banned as targets which is a disappointment to many young shooters. And after decades of shooting steel targets for me and others they are banned in the name of safety. But if you are a cowboy shooter you can shoot all the steel targets you desire. Maybe the cowboy shooters are using some kind of special bullets which do not fragment or ricochet. Or simply put "they have special privileges". They are doing a good job of taking the enjoyment out of the shooting sports. What silly rule will come up next
