Shay was an amazing teacher. He was patient with me (first time shooting a gun) and he made sure that I had each step down before moving on the the next step. I felt at ease and appreciated all of his advise and encouragement. He was not patronizing at all.

Shay was very professional and flexible. He spent a couple hours with my daughter for her 21st birthday and she is very comfortable around firearms now. He made sure she was familiar with safety, loading and unloading, and corrective action protocols. I would recommend him to anyone, new or experienced, wanting to become more proficient with their firearm.

Shay did an outstanding job training both me and my daughter. He trained us in a safe, fun and informative way while respecting our religious boundaries. Shay is a true professional with extensive knowledge and skills. He cares about his students and their safety. I signed up for the ΓÇ£Multiple Caliber TrainingΓÇ¥. I got exactly what I needed and more. I went from having no experience and nervous to being confident, and educated in myself and firearms. Spent the morning learning about gun safety and how to handle a weapon safely. As a first timer handling a weapon, the process was simple and easy to follow. Mr. Shay was thorough in his teaching and training. He stressed the importance of gun safety. I highly recommend this training course to anyone who would like to know how to safely handle their weapon and protect themselves.

I’ve had a concealed weapon permit for over 30 years, and I was afraid of firearms. I did not own one personally. My husband attended Shay’s security officer training. When he completed the class, he insisted that I, my adult daughter, and her friend attend the class. Thank God that we did. I’m Shay poured his heart, his skill, his passion and his energy into us in one session. He was not in a rush. He was very professional, and quite the actor providing real life situations and simulations that kept us engaged for seven hours. He taught us how to disassemble our firearms, how to clean our firearms, how to identify every part of our firearm, how to choose the fire arm that was tailored for our individual needs, and most of all…. how to be responsible, firearm owners, without fear. I now own a firearm. All three of us walked away from our time with Shay feeling empowered and informed. One of the greatest takeaways is that we learned the law and de-escalation techniques. Our goal was to defend ourselves only if NECESSARY. Shay exceeded ALL expectations and delivered not only knowledge and training but a life changing experience! Thank you “Shay Shank Redemption”.

The instructor was very thorough in this requal class. He quickly identified each students weakness a instructed them to strengthen that weakness. I highly recommend A-1 Security concepts. I also recommend any recruiter looking for guards, unarmed and armed, to hire the students from this school.

I refuse to give my business/funds to any place that is not willing to speak with me like I am human which unfortunately is a high percentage of shops that have to do with firearms. Expert marksman is pretty much exactly what I was looking for, they are awesome, the owner is super friendly and lots of fun to talk to. Think about purchasing/ taking classes with them instead of larger chains!!

I was looking for personalized instruction on how to safely handle, store and operate firearms. After several disappointing trips to Shoot Straight, I called Expert Marksman Academy. My son and I received personal attention and gained confidence and competence handle, clear, load and discharge several firearms. We plan to have a few more lessons before stepping foot into a gun range! I highly recommend Expert Marksman Academy for everyone, even if you're not a gun enthusiast. Everyone should know how to safely interact with a firearm. This training prevents tragic accidents and saves lives.

Stopped by to have some night sights installed. They got right on it & had it done in no time at all. Even put some rust preventative on the slide for good measure. I'll be back & enjoyed the fellowship & conversation as well.
