Q: Is there enough space on Sundays or Saturdays, or do you usually have to wait a bit for a spot to open up (rifle range)? Say around 2-3pm. Thank you.

A: Plenty of space the last time I was there it maybe busier now with hunting season

Q: I have a bunch of questions how much is a membership do you need a license do you have guns for rent and ammo to buy and can we bring in our own ammo and guns

A: They do have ammo to buy, you dont need to have a license (I'd just bring my gun in a lock case to keep the travel legal) I dont think I saw any guns for rent but could be wrong, you can bring your own ammo and guns

This place is a great place to learn gun basics and get comfortable with guns. I had a one on one with Devin. He is incredible and is very knowledgeable about how use guns safely and gives awesome tips about body mechanics and gun usage. I cane in knowing nothing about guns and he gave me confidence in my ability to shoot. I can't wait to be able to go back. I actually had fun though I was nervous in the beginning.

A lot smaller than I expected, can't see a $450 annual membership unless you're really close. That said, covered benches, a selection of paper targets, spotting scopes (most are worn out), and target backs are included. Not set up for prone shooting, only bench.

Generally a really nice place to shoot. The guys working here are friendly and welcoming. It's also nice that targets are included with the price. I'm only giving 3 stars because the steel plates on the pistol range are not safe. They are deformed with lots of pitting present. I was hit in the face with bullet spatter (jacket from the bullet) and I expect it to be common given the conditions. I was not injured but the risk is not worth it. I think they either need to replace the damaged plates with some good ar500/550 steel or just remove the plate system from the range

This place is awesome. They have ear muffs and safety glasses to borrow if you forget your own. One of the most down to earth places to go shoot

If youΓÇÖre looking for a state of the art shooting range, this isnΓÇÖt it. However, if youΓÇÖre looking for a place to test your cordless hole, puncher and get some practice, this is the place to do that. Technically, this is an outdoor range, but the area is covered and there are places for long and short hole punchers. Everybody is cordial and friendly here as well.

This is my kind of place, feels like I'm at my grandpa's back-forty, no frills, just thrills. Family owned/operated, outdoor range, covered shooting stalls/benches, everything you need from 10yards out to 300yards. This is not a pretentious/polished place filled with intimidating tacti-cool bros. This is the kind of place where you can casually meet and chat with like-minded folks, have fun with friends and neighbors, learn from experienced staff who freely give you advice and tips for improvement. There are plenty of shooters' amenities like varying height stools/chairs, bench rests, lead sled, spotters' rail behind stalls with spotting scopes free to use, paper targets included with your range fee, eye and ear protection available at no charge, there's even an RCBS rock chucker to use. How great is it that I can bring my own dies and reloading supplies to develop rounds and shoot them immediately for dialing in my setup. They have some ammo, accessories, coffee, and snacks if you need/forgot to bring something. I've been to many different ranges and this one suits my needs and temperament the best, at Family Shooters Corral I am free to shoot whatever I want however I choose as long as I remain safe and courteous. The fees for shooting time are quite competitive, you can go for just a half hour for $10 or spend all day for $40, You won't find another public range (aside from a DNR range that isn't open every day and has a completely different atmosphere) where you can shoot over 4 hours for $40. I've been to many private shooting clubs' events/meetings/banquets, and those places just don't appeal to me from a cost/community standpoint, let alone the years you have to wait and hoops to jump through to be offered the privilege of exclusive membership to find out you don't really fit with their ethos. I'm happy to spend my $ here to help Russ and his family keep this place alive for sportsman/marksman like me. You'll find me here at the stalls all the way at the far end working on developing loads for my long-range setups, I've met good people here with great knowledge and experience who are happy to share and help you. I only wish I lived a little bit closer.
