Family Traditions Gun Range, LLC

IΓÇÖve tried 3 times to visit this place and they are always closed. Their website is not updated when they close for holiday hours etc and you canΓÇÖt get anyone on the phone and their voicemail refers you to their website. Google says they are open but they arenΓÇÖt. Drove 30 minutes on several occasions at different times this year and still no luck which is unfortunate as my family has been wanting to try this place so now we just go to Greensboro.

I just want to recognize and bring attention to this wonderful, humble gun range. I have visited the Family Traditions gun range many times and have been very happy with my experiences. The classes led by Eric and his staff are jam-packed with information with an emphasis on gun safety and techniques which is much needed in this world. The foundation trio of Eric, Honeybee, and Tonto has helped me with good, honest(and stern, if necessary) advice and teaching with a dash of friendly, good, and old-fashioned common sense wisdom. I am so glad to have found this place and wish them many years of operation. I could go on and on about these fantastic experiences. Go visit them and you won't be disappointed. Thank you all.

Excellent range, Eric is very knowledgeable and willing to help. Family Traditions has lots of firing lanes, a viewing area to watch the shooters in comfort without the noise, and even a classroom for use. They provide conceal carry classes and focus on firearm safety. Family Traditions is of the highest value to us local Law Enforcement officers when it comes to training, qualifying, or any other needs that may arise! Oh, and they keep a nice selection of new and used guns! My highest recommendation!

Wonderful range ran by wonderful people. They always make you feel welcome and are there to give safety and shooting tips. They even offer CC classes as well.

Mister Hinshaw's CCH course is fantastic. I'd happily sit through it again. He's exceptionally knowledgeable regarding the subject matter and any related questions, and made the mandatory 8-hour course entertaining and engaging.

Wonderful experience!!! I have absolutely no negative feedback. My husband and I took an 8-hour class today and everyone was really friendly and kind and we're really supportive of wanting you to pass the class. The instructor/owner did a wonderful job of making scenarios so that we really understood the laws. I highly suggest this place to anyone looking for a gun range or interested in taking classes!

I just got through with my concealed to carry class with Eric as my instructor he was an amazing teacher very thorough and knowledgeable as well as patient everyone and their staff is amazing and super nice and welcoming I highly recommend this class to everyone who is considering taking this course

Just completed firearms training for concealed carry permit at Family Traditions Gun Range, this is the finest Gun Range I've experienced in my military law enforcement career. The facility was well designed, neat and clean. The owner and his staff were outstanding in every aspect. It was a pleasure to spend a Saturday with Eric and his staff. I will be back. Job well done guys. Gene

After being a member for several months, and have been to many ranges, this is my happy place. The owners make me feel like family, the range is clean and well maintained. We have taken lessons with Eric to refine skills and his help is always spot on. If you are a woman/couples and looking to learn about guns, how to shoot or get better, a private lesson with Eric is highly recommend. Safety is always a priority at Family Traditions! Flexible memberships and family atmosphere.

This is cleanest, well equipped and friendliest gun range we have found anywhere. After 1 visit we immediately became annual members. It is always a pleasure to visit and shoot in these surroundings. Eric & Kathy

Eric and the staff at Family Traditions are the absolute best. The range is safe, secure, very well maintained and organized. Eric and staff are always helpful with folk like my wife that are new to firearms. It's a pleasure to go to Family Traditions every time. Looking forward to taking some classes.

My husband and I went to Family Traditions Gun Range tonight and had a great time. I was impressed with their safety protocol, very nice staff, Dustin was awesome, clean and overall a great experience. Price was fair even on ammo! IΓÇÖm excited that we found a range with nice folks that I felt safe and comfortable.

My wife and I were looking for a gun range to join and this was the perfect place! Everyone was VERY NICE!! They really make you feel welcome to be there and the range is awesome! We immediately signed up to join, my wife had a few things to do after we joined but I immediately came back to put out a few rounds, lol. Great staff and a great place to be! Thank you for your kindness.

It is sooo good to have the range back and managed by the staff with a great background to match the Family Traditions. It has a wonderful face lift and very friendly environment to bring the family and shoot together. There is something for all and you feel Welcome at the door, Great Folks! Great place to ship a gun for your FFL to get your gun registration done in a timely fashion.

Great environment, great people, great range. As a new gun owner I was apprehensive about joining and getting my head around all the rules and procedures involved with joining a range. After many days of research I'm glad I picked Family Traditions Gun Range. Once I explained my situation the staff were super quick to make sure I felt comfortable and was well informed about the rules and procedures. The staff were SUPER friendly. I cannot stress that enough. Small town environment and people in the best way possible. Staff went above and beyond to make sure my first visit was enjoyable and it was. I know I'll be spending too much money here in the future and I'll be doing it with a smile on my face.
