This place is great!!! Wonderful staff!!! Sydney and Holden were very knowledgeable and eager to help with any questions. We bought our first shotgun so my wife and I didnΓÇÖt have a lot of knowledge on how to use it. Holden was very patient and explained step by step how to handle the firearm safely, how to position your body when preparing to shoot, and how to cycle rounds through. Great staff. CanΓÇÖt say enough about how great this place is!! If you need to practice with a firearm, this is the place to go. Just be sure to stop by the Eldorado outpost and pick up a range pass before going. If you plan on shooting that is. Highly recommended!!

I highly recommend Flintlock Valley Shooting Range. As a complete beginner, Sydney and Holden were most kind and helpful. Sydney was patient and knowledgeable thru my hundred questions. Holden was kind and helpful in teaching me ways to remember my stance and loading the gun. ThereΓÇÖs a very happy and good vibe here. If youΓÇÖre new to guns and intimidated, you should come to Flintlock Valley. The only downside is there is just a pit toilet and no water.

Very nice range, went to site in my new p365 and had a blast. Only reason that its 4/5 stars if because of the road to get to it. If you car is low at all do not bother, I did see a mustang make it but it was a struggle and probably destroyed the front bumper.

Nice range, staff is super super nice! We come up from Wilmington multiple times a year to Uwharrie, but never took advantage of the shooting range. Today, we took that chance and it was super fun!

Holden was absolutely awesome! Kind and professional to my wife and I. We're getting on in age, and he was so very helpful to us. The Gun Range had plenty of space and well maintained. No macho GSO'S walking around giving orders. This was a real treat for us Senior Campers to Badin Lake. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend this facility!! Thank you all so very much!

So glad we have places like this in NC supported by our state government. Very tidy range with fantastic RSOs. Very safety focus but also tons of fun. Try the top shot challenges when they are offering them. Adds a little bit of stakes and lots of fun.

Located in a remote valley. It is a small but good size range up to 100 yard outdoor facility for small groups . Very kind and knowledgeable staffs are managing safe and secure environment. Pit toilet and portable water are available.

I haven't been to Flintlock in about 10 years. It was chaotic at best back then. I went there yesterday and it was safe and very clean. The RSO there Josh and the young lady both are helpful and run Flintlock very well. I will be going back and can now take my grandkids because of the great work that they do to keep everyone safe. 🇺🇸

Wow what a change from the Wild West days. You will need eye and ear protection. They provide target stands ( canΓÇÖt use yours) and staplers; you provide targets. Shooting lanes are well marked and measured in 5 yard increments out to 100 yards. Suggest getting on the web site for the particulars. Great staff that keep shooting here very safe.

Had a great time here. Everything is nice and clean. Sign in process is pretty fast (around 10ish minutes). Ranges are nice and simple. Rules are solid, not overbearing, and simple to follow. Josh was the RSO that day and was extremely nice and friendly. Genuinely a nice guy that let us borrow a spotter scope and rifle rest. We need more RSO's like him in this hobby.

Get all passes, permits,before entering park at Uwharrie Outpost,or near by stores ,cleanest ranges u can shoot at ranger on station are very helpful , pistol and rifle range clean up your brass ,bring your own paper targets, nice stands and benchs

Top notch range. Clean and safe. RSOs are nice and are focused on safety. Please keep this range clean if you go to use it. Even the outhouse was clean and there is a place to wash your hands.
