A hidden gem for upland hunters! I've been here several times and enjoy it even more with each hunt. The preserve offers several upland fields and for those that really love a challenge, there are 2 very large tracts of pine savannahs! On warmer days, let your dogs dip into the farm pond. The lodge is great for gatherings and get togethers with comfy furniture gathered in front of the expansive fireplace. David and his son, Billy do a wonderful job making their guests feel welcome and getting them on birds! Highly recommend.

Mr. Sutter and family/staff run a fantastic low-key shooting preserve. Birds are always lively and a challenge to shoot, and the property has many fields that replicate upland hunts. Have hunted here for many years and have enjoyed every moment. Would recommend this shooting preserve over any of the other options close to Northern Virginia, especially for those with dogs that are looking for birds to be put out.

My son-in-law and I had a blast. Stan, our guide, was great and he went above and beyond to make sure we can a good time. His dog was great as well. The guide during your hunt makes the difference. WeΓÇÖll definitely be coming back.

I've hunter here twice in the last 2 years. They have great fields and are especially accommodating in setting up our hunts. I've been to a number of upland game hunt preserves in VA and MD and this is by far my favorite.
