Outstanding place Me and my husband are new to shooting and looked for a place to start our journey. Franktown Firearms Shooting Center exceeded all expectations. The feel of the store is inviting and professional, with knowledgeable staff ready to help at every turn. Lots of gun selection, and if you were looking for anything not on display they will order it for you at a great price. What sets Franktown Firearms apart is the owner Sean and Dan friendless and welcoming spirit. The staff is not only friendly but genuinely passionate about guns and people that want to become a responsible firearm owners. They patiently answered all our questions and offered valuable insights, never pressuring us to make a purchase. Clearly, they prioritize customer satisfaction over sales volume. Overall, Franktown Firearms became our premier place to experience the world of firearms.

Used to be pretty good place. Pretty below average now. Service makes you feel you are a burden. Just a smile guys. Make a guy feel good about his purchase because you at least made money on it.

My father and I signed up for a level one handgun course in order to apply for our chp's. The staff at the store were friendly and professional. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and taught us things we'd have never learned through plain range experiences. I would highly recommend anyone to stop by for a class, whether you're experienced or not.

I really like both the store and the range. Here's some highlights: - The gun counter guys are willing to spend some time with you showing what type of firearm will best suit your purpose. They explained a few pointers to me about buying a good self-defense pistol. Highlight: Ask them about the homemade cannon that fires the Sponge Bob bowling ball.....prepare for a good laugh! -- Also, take the time to peruse the array of classic/antique or just plain esoteric guns mounted on the walls. There's some shotguns there I've never heard of, and I saw a really interesting Luger pistol which must have had a 12" barrel on it. - The Range: Great on all counts; only problem is it should have more lanes (like Oliver Twist said....."Please sir, I'd like some more"). Dave is a great RSO; not overbearing, will correct safety problems politely, and he has some really good shooting tips. Ask him about shooting if your new, and I think he'll surprise you with his knowledge without lecturing your. It's kind of like getting shooting tips from Jed Clampet. -- The clientele is really nice, I've never met a jerk there. I've struck up some really interesting conversations with the guys I'm shooting next to, and always learn something new there (I was 27 years in the military).

My Girlfriend and I went to go shooting in Franktown for the first time. It was hands down one of the nicest ranges I have been too. The people are excellent and very nice. I would recommend to anyone and we will be back.

Very impressed with Franktown Firearms. Was my first time going there after many times driving by and debating it, and I will definitely be coming back. Staff was super friendly, open, and seemed happy to be there. Came in roughly an hour before closing and they had no issues getting me a lane. The lanes were clean and there were plenty of tables and gear available to use. Overall, solid range and selection in this location!

Franktown Firearms is always eager to serve. From the gun store to the range. The employees are always asking if they can help. Their prices are very competitive for guns and supplies. The range staff is professional and rock solid on their knowledge and help with anything one might need on a live fire range. Check in by Greg for the range was timely and informative as he guided me thru the policies and procedures of the range. Franktown Firearms is great for a first time shooter, an expert or the entire family!!!

The owner, Sean is phenomenal. Rico always does a good job taking care of me. Dan always hobbles over and helps me knowing I only buy stuff once every 25 times IΓÇÖm in. Dave is one of the most competent and friendly RSOΓÇÖs IΓÇÖve ever met. Greg is always a treat to deal with. Best gun shop in the entire state of Colorado. Like a second family to me and mine. Love you guys!

Franktown Firearms is a GREAT store! It just has a "downhome" feel to it. Dan and his crew treat you with respect and dignity every time! I feel like I'm a valued customer whenever I visit. Their prices are fair and they have a great selection of firearms and ammo, plus a law enforcement discount. We've bought 8 firearms there and feel like we walked out the winner each time! Their 25 yard range is a plus with targets available as well. You won't find a better run store than this and they value everyone of their customers. This is my number one store just because they make me feel valued every time I visit! BEST STORE ANYWHERE!

Amazing shop, coming all the way from the U.K. this place was an amazing introduction to firearms. It’s family run and everyone who worked there went above and beyond for me and my friends. Took my girlfriend here shooting for her first time. She loved it! The range was very clean. The simple layout of the indoor range was fantastic for a new shooter and easy for an experienced one. Will definitely be coming back!

I regularly attend their Tactical Fun Night on the 3rd Friday night of each month. Great opportunity to develop your skills outside of the normal stand in your shooting lane and put holes in targets.
