My first time useing I this range it was busy Saturday. I was very impressed at the staff they took their time with me I felt very welcome here. The range officer was very helpful being my first time at this range. Thank you I'll be back to shoot here again

I have delt with Glen and his staff from his first shop in mantua until present day ,his staff is very knowledgeable and customer service is outstanding The indoor range is amazing ,If you are looking for a gun shop that has it all this is it.

Great place to shoot and a huge selection of all kinds of firearms new and used. They are all very knowledgeable and friendly. They welcome new shooters and teach firearm safety along with offering a permit to carry class for safety certification. Adding in that they recently remodeled the range part and the air is clean with new ventilation and the target rails are digital. Very Nice!

This is a beautiful indoor range with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Glenn and Lisa were delightful to speak with and had plenty of expertise to go around. The range itself was recently fully renovated and it shows; the target hangers and controls are modern (and fancy at that), the ventilation system is excellent, and even the lustrous flooring was practically gleaming. I fully anticipate heading back in the future, and offer my highest recommendations for a visit if you're in the vicinity. Surely one of South Jersey's best!

The courses provide excellent content across the board. The class room setting provided a great mental focus strategy and mind set before anyone even gets started on the physical aspect. It made me feel more comfortable getting on the line with nine strangers. A steady and smooth pace with just enough action to allow people 20-30 years removed from training to refresh and remember. Slow enough to allow new comers to participate, understand, and become proficient with the drills. As a bonus I experienced 6 malfunctions which allowed me to work the problem and become comfortable with a real life problem. The high number of instructors to students ratio is a huge advantage for anyone attending the course. I believe some of the drills force a student to slow down and evaluate the situation rather than just slinging rounds at the target. I know two guys at work who went there for the CCW class. I will definitely encourage them to take the next step and attend the next class.

I attended the Concealed Carry Mindset course last night at the range. Both Craig Bard and John Cassidy did a great job. You can tell they are both passionate about the training. I recommend the class highly for those permit to carry holders who want to advance their skills.

Freedom Ammo has the best indoor range around South Jersey! Just renewed my yearly membership while I was there. It's newly renovated and all of the lanes are clean. The hangers are automated and can be sent out to whatever distance you input ie: 1,3,7,15,25, yards. They are also lighted and have cameras on them so you don't have to squint downrange to see where you hit, just look at the control panel to your left and you'll see your impacts. You can also take photos from said cameras to record any perfect scores or shots placed! The RSO Joe was fantastic and super informative and friendly, as was all the staff! Very welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

I just bought my first firearm and signed up for a two hour safety course with Craig. He was very knowledgeable and awesome to work with. The facility itself is really nice and high tech. I look forward to going back!

I am new to the community and was a bit nervous for my first time in the facility . Everyone here is incredibly welcoming and friendly , do not be afraid to ask questions and double check with the staff ! I was aswell experiencing malfunctions on the range and very quickly I was helped and walked through maintenance and general tips for care . Big thank you to freedom ammo !

This place is top notch they ALL are very nice, helpful, caring, and knowledgeable about all of your firearms needs. If any bad reviews are made its because they didn't get their way. I would NEVER go anywhere else ..... Not to mention they have the cutest mascot. I would recommend them every time!!!!! They have so many classes to teach you how to properly handle your firearms and they're doing this really awesome update. Thank you Lisa, Glenn, Tim, Craig, John and Dan for everything you do💗

Great place! Very helpful, my wife and I joined and signed up for lessons from Craig. He carefully trained us and got us up to speed to use the range properly. The owners and other employees are friendly and knowledgeable as well. They have a great selection also. Check it out, it's worth trip!

I offer my highest recommendation to Freedom Ammo and its staff. I returned to shooting after many years of inactivity, and while I had been an experienced revolver shooter IΓÇÖd never even handled a semi-auto, and was in fact more than a little mystified by them. The staff walked me through the whole process of buying a semi-auto and learning how to use it. It is a great advantage to a new or experienced shooter than most of the staff are experienced law enforcement officers. (Glenn, the owner, is a former police chief.) I took several classes and all were excellent and I passed many qualification exams. Right now I am working with Craig, a firearms instructor and veteran of the Marine Corps and Homeland Security, and he is helping me build on the foundation IΓÇÖve picked up so far. With some straightforward pointers on grip and stance and intelligently thought-out drill he brought me from a competent shooter to a new level at which I even surprise myself. I recommend Craig highly. Seriously, targets don't lie: I could see the difference in the tightness of my groups after just one session with him. Craig and all the range officers and instructors have also made me very comfortable with semi-automatics, showing me not only how to shoot them well but handle malfunctions. All in all, a great place for new and experienced shooters.

Everyone at Freedom ammo are incredibly knowledgeable. I'm a new gun owner and couldn't have found a better place to help with this journey. I feel like family when I walk in and immediately became a member. I have to mention that Craig is not only a great instructor and amazed me with how far he brought me in a short time, he makes it enjoyable. I highly recommend Freedom Ammo!

I was introduced to Craig at Freedom Ammo shooting range through a friend. As a total beginner who had never held a firearm or stepped foot in a range, I had no idea what to expect. Craig is an amazing teacher who made me feel comfortable first through our text correspondence and then as II stepped in the door. He greeted me with a warm welcome and set up safety videos to watch. He asked me about myself and my expectations and then humbly gave me background information about himself. After hearing his experience, I had no doubt I was in good hands. Craigs teaching methods are professional. He made connections to my background experiences in order to help me learn the basic foundations of form and the science of shooting, including body position and even breathing. The use of props to help me aim for the target was very effective! CraigΓÇÖs calm manner helped me feel comfortable handling my firearm, safely and finally firing my very first shot, which made its way to the center ring of the target. I look forward to my next lesson with Craig and to practicing my skills at the range.

I reached out to Freedom Ammo for a 1 on 1 lesson. Craig reached out promptly with his soonest availability. Day before follow up to let me know I should arrive 30 minutes prior for necessary paperwork & safety video. The store was busy assisting customers, yet still attentive to make sure I was being taken care of. Craig started off the lesson by asking what I was hoping to achieve. As a novice, I wanted a strong foundation, and understanding of the fundamentals. We went over his training methods at length in the classroom before taking them out to the range. Craig is attentive, encouraging, and his training approach will have you shooting with confidence. I look forward to sharpen the tools we went over, and set up another lesson to show my progress.

Great experience- IΓÇÖve been going here for a number of years. IΓÇÖve brought friends and family from Ireland and Scotland where they donΓÇÖt have the opportunity to experience this sport. They have always gone home talking about it as one of the highlights of the visit. This time my sons came with me and we had a great time! Glenn and his team made us feel welcome and we will be back.
