I really like the range itself and the range officers are always friendly. But their store could use some work and feels disorganized. I don't want to get too specific so as not to target any one employee. Mistakes happen and sometimes it's out of a person's control. But what I will say is that their online order experience is terrible. I've ordered from their online store twice now. Once for a couple of mags which their site said was in stock and another time for an NFA item their site said was in stock. Both times, the items were eventually refunded because the site wasn't accurate. Part of it could be due to growing pains, sure. But as a customer, it is frustrating nonetheless. I've also rarely gotten accurate information from store employees. It seems like their policies/practices change based on who you get. I can also attest to the other reviews stating that their associates often make you feel like a bother rather than a valued customer. Now, for the positive - I will say, for every negative experience I've had there, I've had just as many good experiences. The range officers are often very friendly and helpful and I enjoy chatting with them! I have had some really positive experiences with some of the store associates over the years as well. I guess what I am saying is that communication, customer service and organization are three main areas where they could use some work. The bad experiences are BAD. But the good ones are what keep me coming back and from giving a one-star review.

The staff I work with was great. I had 4 separate employees ask me is I needed help while the gentleman taking care of me was out getting my firearm. My entire transaction time was very fast. The store was very clean and organized.

Left my favorite flashlight in one of the lanes. I called and they retrieved it and I was able to get it back the next day. Very friendly customer assistance.

During our vacation, visiting Freedom Outdoors was by far the best experience we had! As two Flemish guys from Belgium, this was our very first time handling firearms, and we couldnΓÇÖt have asked for a better introduction. Chris was an outstanding instructorΓÇöknowledgeable, patient, and engaging. He made sure we felt comfortable from the start and kept us interested throughout the entire session. His passion was contagious, and thanks to him, we now have a newfound appreciation for shooting. A big thank you to the entire Freedom Outdoors team for their hospitality and professionalism. They created a safe, welcoming environment that made our experience truly unforgettable. One thing is certain: IΓÇÖll be back next year! Highly recommended to anyone looking for an exciting and well-guided shooting experience!

Absolutely terrible experience. I get that you want members but completely neglected everyone else is wrong. I got there at 11 am and waiting on the list for 4 hours before getting called to my lane because members would show up hours after me but get in a head of me. A member should take priority over a public member if they show up around the same time and especially if they have a lane reserved but members that show up 2 hours after someone else should not get to skip people already waiting because then people just keep waiting hours and hours. If anything do a system like every 2 members go form the list then a non member. Extremely frustrating especially after driving an hour to go shooting and was forced to leave due to the long wait. Unfortunately I donΓÇÖt plan on ever coming back here for these reasons.

Go somewhere else for your transfers. They take days to process anything, days sometime a full week to ship anything out, and itΓÇÖs a nightmare getting them to respond to email and send a copy of their license to other FFLs. They are good for range or local purchases but avoid for transfers

This company owns parking spaces near the building next door which is Express Auto. The spaces do not say they are for this location. It just says towing enforced which leads you to believe that the spaces are for the building in that parking lot. The tow company says they tow people all of the time. Make sure you park in the correct spot because this company will have you towed immediately if you make a mistake.

I love this place even though it’s expensive I come whenever they have specials on ammunition or new gear. Staff are friendly and attentive, especially Jordan. Really knowledgeable guy 👍🏽

I took my 3 kids along withva friend to try archery for the first time. Mr Perry made sure that each of my children had a great time and learned so much. Each child was able to shoot and get on target. After the trip all of my children said they couldnt wait to go back. Thank you so much Mr Perry!

Jake is my guy from now on , went there for my second with my girl who is a first timer and Jake came and tought her some good technics which helped her hit her mark and we talked for a bit about how we like iron sights 😂, he’s engages conversations with customers and always ready to help great guy

I ordered online for my handgun FFL, and pick up on july 4, 2024 one of the staff name is megan OMG! she is very rude to me and unprofessional i can tell and i saw her body language when she spoken to me. And i request politely to her if i can speak to someone else or can assist me anybody except her. And derek S. Show up and talk and assisted me the right way professional manners. And ill gaved him 5 out of 5 stars rating my opinion. And for megan she didn't deserved even my one star. And that day july 4, 2024 after picked up my FFL handgun i immediately cancel my premier membership $63.95 plus $100.00 for initiation fee FREEDOM OUTDOORS. For me my experienced as a premier member and as a regular customer bring your family and friends other gun or shooting range. Much better place, better service and better experience.

I'm from Arizona and this is one of the best ranges I've been too. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased rental time and two rifles for my son and I, who is in the Navy. The rifles jammed about every 6 shots we took. There was always a double feed when jammed. The rifle was filthy. When the bullet ejected you can tell from the casing on how dirty the gun was. It was actually frustrating and time consuming. The part I couldn't believe is that the employee put the gun back on the wall!!! Please clean the guns!!!! I know the Sig can fire dirty, but to the point of jamming is unreal. Please clean your guns so customers can get their money worth.

I’ll first go over the positive aspects of Freedom. I had visited the establishment ran by previous owners and it was good overall. Freedom has increased their stock of firearms and accessories ten fold. Great place to find just about any firearm or accessory. Loved the selection and dropped over $500 on items I needed as I waited for a lane. This is why I rated two stars verses one. Now… time for the negative aspect. I came in with my Son-in-Law so he can run his new handgun thru some paces. I was told it was a 45 minute to 1 hour wait. I used the text link to check my status and found this very useful. After an hour and a half I asked why my status had not changed and was told that I wasn’t a member, and they get first dibs before non- member. I was told it may be a bit longer. At the two hour mark I spoke to a staff member who said one of the three ranges was being used for a competition which caused a bit of a wait. My son-in-law was flying out in a few days and really wanted to shoot his new gun so we waited. Finally, at the three hour and 15 minute mark I got a text to come to the counter. I asked a staff member why management didn’t have a policy to alternate two or three members with one non-member, or simply have a couple lanes just for non-members and was told that management wasn’t that bright. As a business owner myself I find it disappointing that absentee management strikes again. This is a great place, but should always be reviewed by leadership on how to be better. Not every person lives locally or wants to be a member. Whomever was managing was ineffective that day.

I came here for the handgun training and had a blast! It felt so exciting and scary to shoot a gun at the same time. I am very happy I took the class first before purchasing a gun because there is so many steps to consider. The instructors are great and I greatly appreciated thr comments I got for aiming since this was my first time handling a gun. I was not expecting to hit the number 2 completely on my first try! Will purchase a gun later on.

This place is always busy in a bad way. We called to ask if there was a wait time for the range and was told there is no wait time. We arrived within 30 minutes of that call and were told there's a 45-minute wait. The parking lot was not full. It's become so frustrating to try to shoot here, we returned home immediately.

Was told it would be an hour and a half wait to shoot. No problem. I waited two hours. Nothing. Went and asked the desk, every time a member comes in to shoot they bumped me down the list. Then was told I would have to wait two more hours. I understand memberships and some benefits. But kicking people further down the wait list who already checked in? Without telling them? Who came up with this system and doesnΓÇÖt tell the customers?

Had to go and use the kiosk to buy a suppressor. Impressed with the size of the store and how helpful the staff was. There was on person, George, who I believe works in the NFA dept that really helped me while using the kiosk because I was having problems with the finger print phase of system. He was very helpful and understanding while helping me. Thanks to everyone that helped me that day. I will be back again!

Came in 1/15/25 at around 1pm with my sister we've had a few experiences shooting at an indoor lane . The range master at range 2 [very tall slim man] we cannot remember his name. He was very helpful, respectful and patient . Overall made us feel comfortable and confident and safe. Definitely will recommend and come back . If you're that gentleman reading this THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My family (husband, son, daughter) and I went to Freedom Outdoors on Saturday December 28th, and it was the BEST experience that we have ever had at gun store. Mr. Blake thanks for your patience with answering questions, showing us different options and just being so respectful. Mr. Mike thanks for your patience and interaction with us, you made us for feel comfortable, relaxed and you listened to us. Mr. Travell thanks for maintaining safety when we were in the shooting area. Your expertise and guidance did not go unnoticed. Your conversation with my son and acknowledging his attempts to teach his family about gun safety as well as proper techniques when it comes to shooting different firearms. Ms. Lauren thanks for taking time to discuss "membership" with my family. The information that she provided, was very helpful. When visiting Freedom Outdoors, "NO QUESTION WAS A DUMB QUESTION".
