Wow. What an upgrade thank you @pennsylvania game commission. Rifle range is now 25 yards-50 yards-100 yards with benches and a shed roof. Shotgun and Pistol are covered. All and all it is really nice now and I hope we all can keep it this way. Pick up your trash and brass, please.

Just remodeled, the facility now boasts dedicated ranges for handguns and shotguns, in addition to the existing rifle range. It's essential to use each range for its intended purpose. I highly recommend checking it out!

Nice outdoor range. Can be kind of busy on the weekends, but you only need a reasonably priced range permit or hunting license to get in so I can see why. Very happy that they added the roof to keep you out of the elements a little bit better.

Good range for what it is, have not returned since last September when we were down range collecting targets on a cease fire and someone started letting rounds off. Rather pay a fee at a club or indoor range than be shot by some idiots. Cant forget the time a father was shooting with his son and the shotgun jammed, dude pointed it at everyone to his left trying to clear it.

Six rounds at a time (not posted) and they will fine you $100-$200. Its not free. Your donations go to being harassed. I literally saw a ranger hiding around the bushes counting rounds. Also my last experience was a ranger (not familiar with weapons accused my son having a nfa item when there was obviously a brace and pistol. He insisted on writing my serial number down and going in his truck with it. I donΓÇÖt feel comfortable with anyone having my serial number of my firearm. Very unprofessional. My family and i will not be renewing our range permits/fishing.

Nice, free place to shoot. Recently redid the target area. Can get crowded.

The range itself is good. The problem is it is way too crowded and at times borderline unsafe. There is no rangemaster or anyone consistently enforcing normal range etiquette. You go there to sight in a gun for hunting and have to wait for some guy to finish shooting 50 rounds from his AR. Very noisy and not a good experience if you plan to bring your kids and get them into shooting. On the weekends it's like WWIII out there!

Only place around me that has free shooting. The only downside is, as IΓÇÖm sure it is with all free gun ranges, itΓÇÖs first come first serve. If lanes are full, youΓÇÖre waiting. Could have more handgun lanes. I believe there were only 2. I waited for an hour and nothing opened up. I went on a rainy day and was the only one there. But itΓÇÖs free. So IΓÇÖm not complaining.

Game wardens on a power trip. They donΓÇÖt maintain it whatsoever. Could spend $30, buy some 2x4s to put up.

Do NOT go there if you don't have to. 1. The range is a trap. The park ranger/game warden will fine you $200-$300 for the slightest violations. They don't care about the safety of you but just want to get money from you. If you love to shoot, it'd be much better to pay for a private shooting range, considering the fines you'd have to pay for violations. Plus, you'd be able to shoot WELL on a private range. You can also save a lot of driving by paying for a private shooting range near you. 2. The range is lousy. The backers are messy. You can hardly put your targets on any of them. The shortest distance is 25 yards, which is not good for shooting pistols. 3. It's not safe. There are no barriers between benches. Other shooters might point their guns at you accidently.

Was nice place to try hand gun outside, a bit littered with trash and shells and old targets, but table area was clean.was not crowded early but after 830 am it started to get crowded. People were nice and practiced good safety. Park ranger Matt was very helpful being my first time there. I will go back again if not too crowded.
