The wife and I participated today in the Valentine's Day event. We had an hour of free range time and free use of any of the rental guns and two boxes of ammo. After the range time we went next door to the Double Tap Cafe, and were treated to a fantastic 4 course meal that was amazing. The price for a dinner out in town, we were treated to a phenomenal experience and we look forward to doing it again next year.

Slow FFL transfers. EDIT: 06 Feb 2025 7:45pm There were 4+ employees standing around, not doing anything. When they found out that my gun came in today they said that they would go in the back and check if it was entered into their system. It wasn't. Instead of having one of the four employees not doing anything, enter the gun into system, they acted like I was stupid for not waiting for them to call me. I've never had to wait before, from any FFL, including Frog Bones. It's always been same day. I don't know how long it takes to enter a gun into the system, but it did not slow Frog Bones down last time I had an FFL transfer. They were able to do it in five minutes. I'm normally a pretty assertive person. I bug the hell out of people and I don't accept no as an answer. I walked into the store, excited to pick up my new race gun. The condescending attitude was so demoralizing I didn't push back or see if they could enter the gun into the system real quick. I just moped out of the store. I went to my happy place and I got shit on. The reason it's not a one-star is because I have had good experiences with Frog Bones in the past.

1/26/2025 3:54pm I have updated my review because I genuinely believe this business strives hard to secure customer satisfaction. I have posted negative reviews in the past with other businesses and never got a response from the owner / company. These guys were quick to try to makes things right. That means a lot. It means I matter as a customer and to me that is super important. Original Review 1/26/2025 11am So In the past Frog Bones has been reliable, but not today. I ordered an M&P 2.0 from their website and they messaged me and told me the weapon was here. FrogBones is a little more pricey then other gun brokers but I like to put money in the local economy. So after 2 days I went to pick it up only to find the weapon was incomplete. I am very disappointed in Ron who would not complete the weapons back ground check and stated the following. "We do not want the weapons back ground check to expire". So your telling me that it is going to take 30 days for my threaded barrel thread protector to arrive. Ron wasted my time today and I am a little pissed.

I visited this store to do a handgun 101, my instructor Freddy was amazing and patience. This was my first time holding and shooting a hand gun, he helped me to relax and gained confidence while loading, holding and firing a weapon. I will definitely return for more training, all of the staff I interacted with was very helpful.

I completed a concealed carry training course/test yesterday, led by the charismatic and knowledgeable Frederick von Mach. The course/test was a good combination of wisdom, knowledge and practicality and I would recommend doing the test at this location. The only addition that I would suggest to be added for those new(ish) to firearms is a clear recommendation to get pre-hospital trauma care training, whether Stop The Bleed, or, even better, TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) training. These skills are actually far more likely to be needed than defensive firearms skills, and anyone who carries a firearm should have these skills as a sine qua non. Notwithstanding that caveat, an excellent presentation and test run by Freddie, in a welcoming and professional venue.

I could talk about the good selection and the nice pistol/rifle range, but the thing that really makes this place great is the staff. Everyone IΓÇÖve interacted with has been friendly, and several people here have gone above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. Kris is the MAN, and I really appreciate his help with mounting my scope to my first ever rifle purchase. Be sure to check out their website, as you can order online and save yourself the time/hassle of doing an FFL transfer from another shop. As long as it says ΓÇ£In StockΓÇ¥ then one of their distributors has it, and will ship it to this Melbourne location. Overall, this place is excellent. I will recommend it to everyone I know, and definitely plan on making my next purchase here as well.

My girlfriend and I went there today the 16th around 1230. Had 2 9mm with us. As she was shooting the last clip I went to the empty lane beside us with my other 9mm unloaded with no clip and slide open to put it away. The man that was working at the time says to me that I cannot transfer my gun from lane to lane and cannot be in that lane. I simply said and showed him that it was unloaded etc and putting it away as my girlfriend finishes up. Instead of him being understanding and talking to me as a human being he was very rude even if I did break a rule. Reason for this is that he was very unprofessional and should not be talking or treating guest that way. I have spent alot of money there in the past but will no longer return due to the lack of personal respect of the guest. Thanks

Go here if youre a tourist/new to guns and want to be over charged for your lane. Only needed a single pistol lane and was charged as if I was a party of 2. Should've left when the person behind the counter was struggling and didn't even know how to work the register. The target stopped working/moving and had to be reset and I wanted to take my target back with me so I informed them how it wouldnt move and for some reason they seemed suprised when I asked one them to get it. Also they absolutely don't follow their own no 3 consecutive shoot rule. As some others have suggested counter strike tactical is much better place for more capable and knowledgeable staff to make purchases. And the Indian River or Triple N shooting ranges may be farther away but it will be miles above anything you experience here. Places like these make me understand why some people avoid indoor ranges and it seems most of the responses here from the owner are just copy and paste do-nothing statements so I guess that's the general trend at this place.

So nice and friendly at the counter and in the range! As a female, no one spoke down to me or acted like I didn't know how to handle my gun. Frederick in the range was extremely helpful - can I keep him in my pocket?? 6/5 stars for this place. I can't wait to go back! Exceptional!

I've been shooting and shopping at Frog Bones for two years. I finally saved enough for my dream pistol, a SIg 229R Legion. I attended your Nov. 30 weekend event and met Boston JOE your Sig Sauer Rep. He was fantastic and helped me buy the gun and helped me understand the suppressor to match it. It was great to have a person to trust. I hope that we have many other transactions in the coming years. Merry Christmas To all.

I've been in a few times for range practice with my husband but the gun buying process had always felt a bit daunting. Nikia was a huge help during the whole process. Having another female to talk to about all the options and best ways to conceal carry made a world of a difference. Female representation in the gun community isn't frequent enough. FrogBones is lucky to have her!

Frog Bones is always my #1 stop for anything shooting related. Every time I come in, IΓÇÖm greeted immediately and asked if I need help. Kris, Chad, and Nikia are always extremely helpful and always know the answer to my questions. Chad and Kris are always fun to work with and very knowledgeable with anything hunting or shooting. Nikia is amazing to work with, especially when my wife has questions about certain guns, how to carry, etc. Having a woman on staff is great and not common in most places. Thanks for the help as always!

I went to Frogbones today to look for a new pistol. I was looking at a few but I was very indecisive about which one to get. Nikia assisted me during my visit. She is extremely knowledgeable and was also very patient with explaining the similarities and differences between the pistols. I was able to pick one out which I am extremely happy with. Amazing customer service, I will be back! Thank you Nikia!!!

I took the handgun 101 class with Freddie snd thoroughly enjoyed the entire class. I learned alot about how to safely load, unload, and handle my new Sig Sauer pistol. The instructors were very informative and knowledgeable and made the experience very worth while. I got to shoot at the range with a few different distances and stances, and was very impressed with the safety measures and attitudes of everyone involved. I recommend this place and plan to continue my training on site with the instructors and staff. It is extremely important to learn about your firearm and how to properly use, store and clean it for your own safety, and the safety of those around you.

If you have a large ammount of experience or are a self respecting professional save your time and money and go somewhere else. This place is great if you're looking for the family friendly shooting you've been hoping for this your place. Here you can expect to get three different answers from three different RSOs. You can also expect to be asked to dish out $150 to pay for a holster class regardless of your professional experience and training. Go join a gun club and shoot at a real range where you'll be treated as an adult. You'll end up spending the same anyways.
