This place is one of the best shooting ranges I have been to. Not only just the ranges themself but the staff provides a very hospitable environment. For example, I forgot my ID at the range, and itΓÇÖs about an hour drive to the range. The staff went out of their way to mail it to me. Great atmosphere, great service, would recommend!!

I really like this place. Rod and everyone that works there are really nice and patient. I did a gun transfer there and it went as smoothly as could be. I thought the price was completely fair given that Rod probably spent at least 20 - 30 mins doing paperwork. They have an indoor range which I will use in the near term. 11/8/24, everyone here is still great. Did a weapon transfer and wasn't familiar with the gun. Rod helped with a gun I didn't even buy there. This is the only place I will for my sporting needs.

Such a cool place got kayaks for going out on the lake and guns and ammo with a shooting range. Cool awesome place wonderful people!

We took the Enhanced Carry course on Saturday with Crystal and her assistant, Sage 🌞 It was a great course and I'd strongly recommend this location and instructor to anyone wanting to take this class.

I took the CoEd introduction to firearms class this weekend with instructor Crystal, and I had such a great experience. Everyone in this store is extremely friendly and fun to be around. Even though I don't know much about firearms, I feel that they give me the facts, and then allow me to make my own decisions from there. Crystal was a great instructor, and really made me feel comfortable. I am looking forward to shopping here, and continuing to take classes to become more confident. Thank you Frontier Firearms!!!

Called today to inquire about trading in a couple of firearms. I live an hour away from the business and wanted to see if they have an interest in the firearms that I would like to trade in or possibly consign. The gentleman I spoke with was very rushed and told me he was in the middle of a sale to a customer. I would have been glad to provide my phone number for him to call me back when he had time to talk but he didn't ask. All he could tell me is that I would have to come in and see if they have an interest in them or not. I understand that you cannot give a quote without seeing the firearms in person but having some idea if they would even be interested would have helped me determine if I should make the 2 hour roundtrip drive. I also explained I'm in the market to purchase a $2,000 rifle as well. From all the positive reviews I gather it is a great place to do business. Maybe just got the wrong person on the phone. Hopefully this will be taken as constructive feedback.

It is the best store for any type of guns, special knowledge for guns, or any gun purchases. Rods the man that helps you with any questions for any problem that you might need. A Higher stars recommendation is needed for this place, a 10 star.

Great experience! I'd never been here and the staff was all very friendly and knowledgeable. They even have a good selection of fishing kayaks too. I will definitely shop here again.

This is by far the best place in this area for guns, ammo, supplies, etc. But what I really love is the indoor shooting range. It's clean, safe and the target moving system is excellent. The family of people who run this place are so nice and helpful too. It's a great place for experienced shooters as well as those just learning. I really love Frontier Firearms.

Bait and switch... Ordered a pistol through Brownells and Frontier Firearms was listed as an FFL local to me and their transfer fee was $20, which was cheaper than the others so I chose them. When I arrive to pick up the pistol, I find out the transfer charges are $42.85, not $20.

Today is the first day that I have been to frontier, and I have to say that the service was excellent. If you choose to go there ask for Steven, he is extremely knowledgeable with guns and even the years that they came out. I showed him one of my guns and he was able to quickly identify exactly what model generation and when they were made and sold. He was able to set me up with everything I needed as well as how to properly polish one of my firearms. Gave me great tips. I've not been to a firearms store that had this level of service. I will be back. I don't know the young gentleman's name that was with him during the purchase of the items that I acquire today but I want to say that he was also exceedingly knowledgeable. Nice to see people that actually care about the customers.

Great store, great service, great selection of guns and accessories. Josh is a very knowledgeable, professional, kind and curious young man. I frequent this store not because it is convenient but for the customer service and variety of items that are carried inside. I will continue to shop at FF and buy local. Frontier Firearms is my go to hometown FFL! Think I may go to their range today!!

Took my concealed carry class there today. Tim was the instructor, and man what a great job he did. It's difficult to make 8 hours of class, not put you to sleep. But Tim made the class great with interaction and helpful tips.. Probably one of the nicest and friendliest guys you'll meet...

These people are the best!! Ladies are not treated any differently than the men here. I got quick and friendly service. After stopping at several range/gun shops in and around Knoxville, this place won me over. As a lady shopping alone, it can be quite sexist in gun shops. The entire staff at Frontier are welcoming and will answer any questions. They are great at giving advice as well. I continue to go to this range. The prices are great, the range is clean, and the service can't be beat. Plus Ladies shoot FREE on Monday!!!

Just rude people especially rod. Idk how to Reply to you. I did mean the first time to give a 3 star cause most everyone I've dealt with, has been good people. But when speaking on the phone about a product. I got a we dont have it.i day ok thank you have a go. He then hangs. That's incredibly rude. I didn't even get to finish what I was saying before I was hung up on.

DidnΓÇÖt want to talk much at all. Staff seems burned out and uninterested in selling you anything. They had a large selection though and other great things there to buy.

I recently took the enhanced handgun carry permit class here. The instructor, Nancy, was absolutely amazing. It was my first time firing a weapon and she enthusiastically helped me through every step. I cannot recommend her and this class enough!

Told me they had 3 boxes of 9mm left, so if i wanted them hurry before they sold out. Drove 45 mi to get here and they told me, that they'd only sell me the ammo, if I bought a gun.
