I recently attended a firearms fitting class and subsequently purchased a firearm from Frontier Justice. And I have since taken training classes with my firearm. From start to finish, my experiences have been nothing short of outstanding. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism, ensuring I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the fitting, purchase, and training process. FJΓÇÖs firearms training classes continue to exceed my expectations. My instructor Jason is knowledgeable, patient, and skilled at breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand lessons. He took the time to answer questions, provide hands-on guidance, and emphasized safety at every step. IΓÇÖve observed their entire team going above and beyond to ensure that each participant, whether a beginner or an experienced shooter, feels comfortable and confident. Took a private lesson with Jason in Lees Summit. Great instructor! Thorough and safety conscious. Provided great tips on ways to practice and feel more comfortable with the gun. IΓÇÖm going to send my son to Jason for his first lessons and would recommend him to anyone. Frontier Justice feels like a family and a family oriented environment. I look forward to sharpening my skills and sonΓÇÖs skills here.

What ever you do. Do not buy anything from this place. At best they are untrustworthy. At worst they are misleading or outright liars. They have less than zero interest in you service after the sale. They claim they will contact you when they donΓÇÖt. They outright lie about attempts to contact you. They are not seeking a resolution to your problems. And whatever you do donΓÇÖt ask for a refund after a month of constant lies. They simply wonΓÇÖt do it. When you finally contact the bbb. They insist that they have made several attempts to contact you. And will offer send you a paper check as a further delay. Faith Family and Freedom. Liars cheats and thieves.

Started going here in December with my daughter we took 2 classes for new shooters both classes was helpful and the instructor was great and knowledgeable, we have scents been Multiple times using the range we have never had an issue Everyone is always nice and friendly that is on staff Willing to answer questions and helping in anyway they can

This lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable. I placed an in-store order for pickup early in the morning, only to be informed that it will not be ready today. Furthermore, I understand that only one person handles online orders. Consequently, I will not be returning to this store Additionally, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Selection is terribly small. Rifle selection is extremely limited on stock. Shopping for firearms, go somewhere else.

So disappointing that Frontier Justice's new owners decided to close the boutiques. Mike and Bren Brown created a beautiful store for families to come and shop. I have shopped the Boutique since it began and spent lots of money there. I loved shopping the stylish, unique clothes while my husband shopped parts of the store. So sad and disappointed. I hope the values the Brown family business was built on remain ~ faith, family and freedom. Bring back the boutiques please!!! Lee's Summit was so lovely.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I'm very disappointed to see the boutique and home goods section gone. Today, I was also very disappointed in the gun and ammo selection. Since the store was sold to a corporation, I assume they don't put as much effort in maintaining a quality store. Might as well go to any gun store now, or even Walmart. Step up your game or you'll go out of business. I moved you from 5 stars to 4 stars.

Frustrated by communication. Called to inquire about an unknown credit card charge - staff member said they would escalate with management with whom I also left a voicemail. A couple days go by, I called back and got a similar response. So I visited in person - another staff member told me they'd check with the GM. I waited almost an hour and a half with no response. Come to find out they're processing a refund (which I do appreciate) but not without wasting my time in the process.

Tried purchasing a firearm, was turned away because my address is too long to fit in its entirety on my license. No other establishment has presented this as an issue in the past, I will continue to pass this place on my way to purchase anything firearm related.

I have only had good experiences with Frontier Justice. 12/4/24 Update: I had some time to spare so I swung by and I thought the store was closing with how sparce it is. One employee told me they can't get firearms in quick enough. I am not sure what the deal is, because every other firearm store seems to have plenty of stock. I know revolvers are kind of unpopular, but on today's visit there was literally two. A .45-70 and a .44 Magnum. I wasn't expecting a wall of options, but two seems ridiculous. Also, neither of those two would make a good CCW. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but friendly people can't sell firearms that aren't on the shelf.

Had to change my rating due to being ripped off by your instructor Josiah walking out on a scheduled appointment he scheduled after paying 108.00 for my class for KCPD range no phone call and has not been condensated at all for what I paid for everything was booked in a reasonable amount of time there is no excuse for this type of treatment of a 5 year loyal customer this very sad and unexceptable need to do better with customer service and communication

I've been a consistent customer for several years. The people are knowledgeable and friendly. The facility is great, and they offer instruction and training such as shoot/ don't shoot simulator training. Check it out!

Really bad place to shoot. They won't let an adult rent a gun if anyone in the party is under 21 but if you bring your own then its totally fine. What??? Make it make sense. Everything is unreasonably expensive. Won't let you use your own ammo. Go to literally any other gun store.

I put a gun on lay away paid little over $400 on it and i called to see if it was still there as i had realized a few months later that i hadnΓÇÖt gone and got it due to my kids being in the hospital. they said there is nothing they can do! i could cry right now! Store manager swears he called me and left voicemails yet i have nothing. DidnΓÇÖt have a care in the world for his customer, said that was unfortunate and i'm out of luck! I even pulled my att call log from when they are swearing they called me and nothing! i will never buy from them again! just beyond heart broken.

Place is disorganized and individuals donΓÇÖt know what they are doing. Tried to get a rifle sighted in there yesterday even called same day and someone said they could but when I arrived all of sudden no one wanted to do it for me and just wasted my time really. IΓÇÖll take my rifle to a real firearm place. This place doesnΓÇÖt even deserve one star. Thank you

First time doing a firearm purchase online. Had my item sent to Frontier Justice. Item was there by 2:15 on Friday and I could not pick it up until Monday because apparently no one can check in a firearm. Poor service, manager sucks, policies are terrible. Would not recommend. Would give no stars if that was an option at all. Can I reiterate that the manager sucks. This is strictly referring to the Lees summit location. Your mileage may Vary. I doubt it though.Target time in Blue Springs gets my money now. I wonΓÇÖt step foot in Frontier Justice again.

Its ok. Really cool for people who are new and need a first place to wander in. It just seems over blown and gimmicky, and like you're better off going to a regular gun store/range. I wasn't terribly impressed with their selection either. It would be better if they had aftermarket parts. Not many places in the KC area have any, and it would really distinguish this place from being a Buffalo Bill play pin for adults to something that offers a wide array of knowledge that caters to beginners and enthusiasts alike.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE! THE WEBSITE DOES NOT REFLECT ACCURATE INVENTORY. I placed an online order yesterday after trying to make several attempts to contact the Lee's Summit location. The website stated they had 3 of the items I was interested in purchasing. I placed my order and the website stated I would receive an email shorty. I never received an email. I had to call the store 12 times before ever getting a hold of anyone. Once I finally was able to speak to the firearms manager I was informed they have no access to assist with online orders. I went ahead and contacted the Kansas City, KS location and found they have the firearm I paid for instock. You would think they could do a store transfer and I could pick up the firearm. NOPE! I have to wait for e-commerce to deliver the firearm. I still do not know when it'll be available and no one in the store can tell me either. This will be the last time I do business with Frontier. The lack of communication and efforts put into taking care of a customer is embarrassing.
