An absolutely fantastic range. Paul the owner does a fantastic job managing and constantly improving this place. IΓÇÖve often ROΓÇÖd and shot at the 2-Day Pro and Regional PRS matches that Paul hosts and the stages that he creates is both positively challenging but also gives great respect to the basics. This place is also very active on engaging with the 2A community online, highly recommend at least a range trip here.

The absolute best range I have ever been to. I am one of the first members of the range, and gladly keep up my membership. Paul has 110% focus on safety, kinda important, and thusly ensures safety standards are rigorously adhered to. The various shooting ranges are impeccably designed, with the help of NRA range designers, and function to those specifications. If you are a seasoned shooter, or someone that wants to seriously learn how to shoot, Paul has a well proven system to deliver it. Note, I said "system" intentionally, he runs a well oiled machine here, just ask him, he goes a bit heavy with the oil on his firearms, lol. He'll be the first to admit that, but I do see his point, a bit more oil is MUCH better than a microscopic piece of rust, so I guess he has me on that one. LOL. Make the drive, its very much worth it, great staff and people.

One of the top-rated ranges in the US. I have renewed my membership 3 times and will renew again for 2023. The 1000y range is members only and requires qualifying by passing a written test and a practical test. Pass both and you get your black badge. Every other range (pistol bays, 25y, 50y, 100y, 300y and 500y) is open to nonmembers. All bays are covered. So don't let some rain stop you from coming. Also, everyone is so friendly and always very helpful.

Once you get past the owner's ego, yes, it can be a good course. Maybe if you're in the Marines, as a sniper, you may be able to stand the owner and his opinions. However, I regret bringing friends and family to his course because it was non-stop dealing with his ego... Other than that, it was a really good course...

From Raleigh itΓÇÖs a lengthy trip. That said itΓÇÖs worth it if you want to shoot beyond 100 yards. DidnΓÇÖt visit the handgun ranges but several shooters were there with many more spaces available. Orientation for first timer was friendly, thorough yet quick. Members at range areas were also friendly and helpful for the first timers. Identification of visitors who may be less familiar with the facility are identified by badges. Everyone on the grounds must where identification badge via landyard. 100 yard range was covered, easy to access, sit down or prone lanes provided great variety of shooting. Something like 16 lanes available maybe a few more with the 25 yard lanes at the end. After sighting in, we went to the 200-500 yard range. Raised, covered platform provided bench or prone shooting options. Permanent steel targets allows for quick setup and shooting. We did not get to the long 1000 yard range as visitors, but signed up for the intro to long rifle course to give it a shot and test ourselves and gear. We ended up joining the club. Porta-johns only on-site but they are well maintained and clean. Facility onsite is open on weekends. Drink vending outside always available via credit card. Snacks-cash only, ammo, swag available in the facility. Various Targets available outside at hand gun and 100 yard range. Great facility, great staff, growing and adding more shooting ranges and options.

Awesome range, nice covered platforms, steel always hanging and ready to go. Check the calendar before driving out, as Paul always posts any range closures so you do not waste a drive!
