Having extensive rifle and pistol experience, I had zero skills with a shotgun. Being invited to a shoot and not knowing a thing about clays, I took several classes with Bill Hendricks. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but was able to teach and train in a very professional manner. Can not recommend Bill enough. He is a great guy and you will enjoy his teaching style.

It was our second time in the last couple years shooting with Bill, and it was fantastic as usual. The club has an amazing location and setups, and Bill makes beginners and experienced shooters feel comfortable. Go with a group for a great day out, and ask for Bill!

The fellas and I were visiting a friend of ours who lives in town and we were looking for an activity. Several of us are experienced clay shooters and we decided to visit GSC. The hospitality shown by Dennis to a handful of tourists was exceptional, and I would absolutely be a member there were I located closer. Dennis was even kind enough to let us stick around a bit after their posted time to let us close out our targets. It was a truly amazing way to end our afternoon and I cannot recommend it enough.

GSC has an absolutely awesome course and great people. I would highly recommend instruction by Bill Hendricks. I've been shooting for quite a few years but never had actual instruction and I got more applicable pointers from Bill in 2hrs than I have over the last decade. I would highly recommend.

Abby and Russ are excellent instructors and good people to spend an afternoon shooting with! My group had little experience with sporting clays and they had us hitting targets in no time.

Bill Hendricks--Exceptional Sporting Clays Instructor--Highly Recommended Our group of beginner sporting clays fans recently had the pleasure of participating in an outstanding session with Gallatin Sporting Clays instructor Bill Hendricks. From start to finish, Bill's dedication to training beginners, emphasis on safety and enthusiasm for the sport made for a fun and informative day. Bill's patience and expertise in teaching beginners were commendable, including teaching my 15 year old son who had never before held a shotgun in his hands. His teaching style struck the perfect balance between informative and enjoyable, making the learning process both accessible and fun, sharing educational and enjoyable anecdotes from his decades in the sport along the way. But the proof was in the pudding--after a three hour session, our group of novice shooters regularly hit over 50% of targets of all types--a super fun day!

What an awesome time our group had! I sent an email to Russ about setting up a group lesson and trap shooting afternoon and we had a blast! They took the time to walk through safety, fit us properly and give as feedback as we went. The course is extremely incredible with multiple bird origins which makes for a fun and unpredictable session. Thanks so much!
