Physically it's a great range, barely ten minutes from my home, I would LOVE to shoot here every week or two, but the awful staff and policies made sure I'll never come back. Sat through an hour long "safety class" of extremely basic knowledge (already unreasonable compared to any other range, but okay it's a "club", so that's fine). Then when I got on a plate rack for pistol drills an RO drove by on a golf cart to yell at me "one shot every 3 seconds". I've shot competitions, I've been shooting for years now, and yet I can't effectively practice here because of dumb, antiquated policies. Sorry, I don't need to patronize a business that feels the need to treat their customers like the lowest common denominator when ranges like Saltwater and Osceola exist.

Awesome facility. Have every range you might need. 25yd, 50yd, 100yd & 200yd rifle. Hand gun, shotgun, target etc. Covered concrete shooting ranges with shooting benches & large fans. Clean & safe. Good safety familiarization video required before 1st time shooting there. Sell ammo, targets, cleaning supplies as well. THE outdoor place to shoot in Jax area.

Been going here for decades. Helpful, attentive staff. Well kept grounds. Pretty well stocked for ammo. I highly recommend

I been here multiple times. The daily (weekday) rate is fair at $15, it's safe and well organized. I'm sure I'll be back. Spent a couple hours sighting the rifles on the 100 yd range with my son and it was great father-son quality time.

Always a pleasure to use Gateway for my shooting needs, with every kind of range I need, out to two hundred yards. Staff is always low key and friendly.
