Gatlinburg Sportsman Club

Q: Can you come to this place for skeet shooting? If so, what are prices?
A: It's been a while since I've visited, but I loved shooting skeet here! I will definitely be back! Prices were inexpensive!
- Christopher Elliott (6 years ago)
A: Skeet shooting is by appointment. Give them a call as I don't know pricing off hand
- Samantha Barton (6 years ago)
Q: Do they have a pistol range?
A: Yes a nice reactive pistol range. A 25 yard distance. However you have to be a member for all club ranges with the exception of trap and skeet which is by appointment.
- Paul Barton (5 years ago)
Q: Is this place open to the public or members only
A: Hello, the club is for members only. Visit our website for the membership application/information. Members may bring their immediate family and up to two non-member guests with them to the ranges
- Gatlinburg Sportsman Club (3 months ago)
Q: Is there an archery range on site?
A: There is not a dedicated archery range yet, but members may set up their own targets to practice with on a range. They must follow all range rules as if they are still shooting a firearm and follow the directions of a range officer (if present). There is a spot picked as a potential archery only range but we have not started building it yet.

Q: Do they allow minors (10-15yo) WITHOUT prior training/saftey certification to come with a parent for a day and rent a firearm to shoot? If not, do they have lessons for such?
A: The Gatlinburg Sportsman Club is a members only range. Anyone may become a member by following the club rules, paying dues, and filling out the necessary documents which are found on our website. A member may bring their immediate family to the range with them (spouse and children) along with 2 guests (extended family or friends). The club member is responsible for everyone's safety, knowledge, and actions when on the range. Currently the club does not have firearms to rent, nor does the club teach firearm safety or hunter education courses.

Q: Can a guy shoot while on vacation...? Plz lol
A: The Gatlinburg Sportsman Club is a members only range. Memberships renew yearly on November 1 but you may sign up at any time. Anyone may become a member by following the club rules and filling out the necessary documents which are found on our website. Thanks!

Q: Can I shoot .50bmg?
A: You can........but be aware 200 yard is our longest range.....not much of a 50bmg challenge. As always you must be aware of the backstop and backgrounds....safety is always first
- Paul Barton (3 years ago)
Q: Is there military discount for membership
A: Unfortunately no.
- Gatlinburg Sportsman Club (5 years ago)
Q: Why do I have to be a member for a one time visit? Can you rent automatic rifles? IΓÇÖm coming in February for a bachelor party and I would like the groom to be able to shoot some high powered rifles
A: Go to buds. I believe they rent full auto
- Steve Dettmar (5 years ago)
A: GSC is a members only club. It is very nice, but they don't cater to one-time visitors and do not rent firearms. There are indoor ranges for that purpose.
- Charles Ho (5 years ago)
Q: Do you guys allow bb and air guns. My son just purchased a pair (one of each) and cannot shoot them on my property because we live in city limits
A: Pellet rifles are allowed. BB guns are not practical due to the range distances involved. Membership is required to use the range. See details on our website http://Gatlinburgsportsman.com

The range is a true 5Γÿå range, but the greed of the land owners is 1Γÿå. It's been fun and real. I'm glad we got to enjoy it while it lasted.

The new tree beard property pistol stations are great! Better than the old! And the price to join was less too! Glad the range is still there!

This place is very high priced, takes forever to process your membership and is not person to person friendly.

Tried to call and ask a few questions, every time I did theyΓÇÖd pick up and immediately disconnect the call. Someone was on the opposite line as well, as theyΓÇÖd pick the phone up, wait a second, and then hang up. Whoever is working there that is treating customers like this needs to be fired. Horrible customer service.

Great outdoor range with multiple platforms: shotgun, AR, pistol compatible. Longest range is 200 yds, so no long-range.

Mike and Claude have a very interesting little sporting clays course. I enjoy the club as well as their hospitality. It is nice to have a place to shoot while on vacation. I stop to shoot a round or two on each trip to Gatlinburg. I would recommend that you call first or in advance for their hours of operation.
