The staff are wonderful, especially to families and new shooters. WeΓÇÖre on our second year of membership and we really enjoy the place. Laid back, low pressure, and the facilities have everything you need for a safe and fun day.

You get what you pay for ...members only and usually not busy. Safe place to take your kids to explain the fundamentals of safe shooting. Rifle out to 500 yards, pistols and shotgun ranges. Paul is great to work with and always available. Highly recommended.

Great place, great customer service, and great people to be around IΓÇÖve only been shooting for about 7 months and actually started shooting skeet here so I highly suggest and its a lot of fun!

I thought about joining and then discovered you have to pay NRA dues to join, no exceptions. The NRA is run by corrupt boomers that waste member money instead of protecting gun rights and give us all a bad name. IΓÇÖll find a different range.

I was wondering when they moved too! My grandpa used to be the president in the 80s and early 90s. My cousin and I used to go all the time with him; we learned how to shoot with the .22 rifles. If itΓÇÖs anything like it was when it was in Golden, then youΓÇÖre in great hands! I hope my grandpaΓÇÖs legacy lives on and well!

When did they move? I was a member back in the early 1980s and the facility was over on the west side of Golden, CO. It was a great place to shoot back then and I would imagine it is today.

I haven't been there yet but I called. It's about $500 for 18 months and they have a 500m range. If you're good with doing a little volunteer work they don't mind lowering the yearly membership rate to help clean up and build targets and such. I will update when I join.

Very expensive.. Staff doesn't bother returning phone calls or emails.. Not a very friendly range it seems. If you are a newcomer, I Suppose they will turn you away if you make any complaints or questions bout the $500 + fee they have for joining. It is a shame that Ben Lomond is now capped out on membership, as there is not a lot of options int he immediate Denver area for rifle ranges. They also have some type of shooting qualification for you to join the range.. I guess I have no clue what that entails but my questions to the staff went unanswered. It really appears that this range doesn't even want any more new members from what I gathered.

Private club, members only, daylight access only. Dedicated shotgun line looks nice and well thought out. Combined rifle/pistol lines seriously impede shooting when there's a match and built as an afterthought. Rifle lines are covered, pistol lines are not, leaving you to bake in the sun. No ammo or targets for sale. Overall its towards the lower end of the many ranges I've been to.
