Really been enjoying my time at this range. I had a medical episode last weekend while there and the staff were incredibly good with making sure I was ok before heading back home. In my experience everyone has been very friendly and knowledgeable, willing to help out with questions especially for someone new to the hobby. Wait times can get long but there's always plenty of seating and enough places in the area to kill time. Really diverse crowd coming in to shoot which is nice to see, I think it speaks to this being a comfortable, safe spot. Thanks y'all!

Almost every visit in the past month has involved a 3ΓÇô4 hour wait, with me arriving an hour after the business opens. It is discouraging and a waste of money for me as a member when I am unable to make effective use of the membership that I pay for each month.

After 3 hours waiting to shooting they call us. Take 5 min to rent the gun and he just pass other people front.

Mark K from Green Top had horrible service with us. We was waiting for 3 hours and 6 minutes for 2 lanes, and then we went to rent gun and it took 3 minutes, and then he passed 6 lanes on front of us and saied we have to wait again.

They need to open all bays on busy days, I'm tired of wasting my time driving up there to leave because it's over 2 hour wait... Would also be nice if they ever answer the phone so I can ask the wait time before wasting a drive out there...

Well kept lanes thats about it. Tried coming several times, always way overcrowded. Not worth getting a membership if you can't ever get a lane. Expect at least an hour wait most days, even longer on weekends. Only open for a few hours a day and they are closed Tuesdays. Wish there was other local options than this and dominion, it would make bank. Here's to hoping.

It was my second time ever at a gun range; I'm a novice to guns in general. The folks at Green top made me feel relaxed and comfortable from the get go. They took there time explaining to me what I could rent and how to shoot. I had such a great time and felt so empowered. Will be back again!

Green top shooting range is my favorite shooting range. They sell firearms as well as rent firearms. They have very clean bays and the associates are very helpful and friendly. Me and my fiance frequent here about once or twice a week. The prices are very reasonable and they have certain specials every now and then. This is the only range that we will go to. They always treat us with kindness and help us in any way possible if we need it. This is the best shooting range around the Tri-Cities area. I definitely give them five stars and I highly recommend them.

RSOs were so polite and helpful! We got there at 5:45 on a Friday night and they did everything they could do get us checked in quickly so we could still be on the range by last call.

Family plans are not worth it because you have to share a lane...all of you...but it's a great range. Much better than csa Update: csa is now closed:/ now everyone comes here and they have adopted some of the bad rules from csa. Customer service is still Amazing though

Staff is always friendly. Members can never get a lane .Always a two hr wait time .During the week have had to wait because they only open one bay. So pretty much been paying member ship fee without usage due to their lack of accomodations to members .

I have been shooting for 90 days. Joe is 1 of the bay supervisors. When he isn't busy, he always takes the time to give me short instructions. I couldn't hit a full body target. Now I can hit head shots as will as center mass. Green Top instructors take the time to help you if they are not super busy. No other shooting range has ever done that. Mark & Jason are also wonderful. Not 1 person there as ever said, "No, it's not my job."

I've been a Greentop customer for over 20 years, I've been a member of this range when it opened as Blue Ridge Arsenal, I was a member when it was Winding Brook, and again when it became Greentop range. I've been a member the entire time its been open. Tonight is the final straw. I got there at 4:30pm and checked in, they were busy. At 6:00 I'm next in line, they announce to everyone still waiting sorry, you have to leave. This is not how a professional business treats thier customers. You have lost a good customer tonight. ------------------------------- Great range but very common to have to wait, even for members. Tried to come here on Sunday they did not have all the bays open and had a two hour wait. I am here on a Wednesday they have 15+ people waiting but only have one bay open. Once I couldn't use the range because they were closing early due to a thunder storm outside. Once they closed early because it had snowed the night before. They have some room for improvement.

The manager turned us away because we are Canadian citizens and thinks we need a visa to enter the United States which isnΓÇÖt true. Had no reasoning to back it up. Be aware of going to this place if youΓÇÖre Canadian

Place definitely stereotypes. I came in with my boyfriend this morning expecting to shoot and we were told we would be unable to due to the smell of marijuana. As soon as we walked in a worker began to stare at us and up until we got to the counter I caught wayward glances from him. I was one of the only black people in there. We proceed to get to the counter and the lady assisting us gets us started on the waiver and sends us off to the side and then said manager proceeded to come over and assist us with the waiver but then AFTER that, tell us we cannot shoot. what confused me was after that I had called to leave a complaint with a manager and she goes onto express to me that three people that work there stated that they smelled marijuana on us and that confused me because the only workers were behind the counter and we hadnΓÇÖt even been close enough to for them to possibly smell a nonexistent smell. We hadnΓÇÖt even been at the counter for longer than three minutes. She then went on to tell us that when a worker does have suspicion of that that they are supposed to report to a manager, and that is policy, but the lady that was checking us out the only person who couldΓÇÖve smelled us didnΓÇÖt even say anything. Her and the man who told us had no contact at any point. I take this all personally because I donΓÇÖt even smoke and from the looks, we happened to be the youngest people and I was one of the only black people there. They definitely smelled someone else and assumed it was us. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth for this place because I hate to label things racist and they are not but I have never smoked before so it truly shocked me.

Showed up at 6pm to sight in rifle real quick, only to be told they called last shooter had already been called, funny when the range closes at 7pm.

Range safeties are knowledgeable and friendly, as are the counter people. Malachi was extremely professional and did a phenomenal job. The atmosphere is a night and day difference between here and the main stores gun counter. Things were kept clean and most importantly safe. Would recommend to new shooters and experienced ones alike.

This is the nicest range IΓÇÖve ever been to and I appreciate the senior citizen discount. Shooting has been a lifelong hobby of mine.

If you are like me then you only go here because it's basically your only option in the area. The range is perpetually over crowded. Unless you plan on getting to the range 45-1hr before the doors open on a weekend and campout at the door you will be sure to wait 1+ hrs to shoot and the later you come the longer you wait. God forbid you bring a new shooter who happens to shoot the wall or the pulley for the targets. They will make sure everyone around you knows what happened and it's very embarrassing for the shooter. Plus they will try and charge you 5$. Range is run by women and grandpa's who assume you can't and don't know how to shoot as soon as you enter. If you have ANY other option I advise you take that option but sadly there is not another feasible option in the area for most. I will continue to look for a better option.
