Q: Can I transfer my sc ccw lisence to a nj ccw

A: No Sir. Unfortunately NJ is not recognizing CCW issued By other states.

- G&S Hunters (6 years ago)

A: NJ and a few other states do not recognize reciprocity, you'd have to apply for your NJ FPIC and get finger printed, be approved and then apply for your NJ CCW and set up appointments for fingerprinting again and a CCW Qualification course at any of the NJ Shooting Ranges. There's a lot more to cover but I'm just giving you the general 411.

Q: DO GUN PERMITS NEED TO BE RENEWED? AND HOW OFTEN, IF ANY.

A: The Firearms ID card is permanent unless you change the address than you have to apply for new card with current address. The Handgun purchase permits are good for 90 days after that period you can renew them for another 90 days to purchase a firearm and they are for one handgun purchase only.

Q: How can i get a shotgun licence for hunting in NJ.

A: There are two different licences you are asking for. The first one is NJ Firearms ID Card to buy and have a shotgun. The second one is Hunting license , that gives you the priviledge to hunt in the state. If you are out of state resident and have a valid Hunting license from any of the 50 states you can buy a Hunting license in NJ with no additional Hunters education course certificate, but you need a copy from previous years of out of state hunting license be presented to vendors in NJ.

Went to see Mr. Bagdasarov about my AR-7's non-functional aftermarket barrels. He said he could fix that and he did. Took the gun to the range and it fired like a champ, till it jammed. That's Henry firearms fault not this excellent gunsmith. Thank you G&S Hunters!!!

I have used Gorge many times over the past few years.. I have purchased several ARΓÇÖs online and he has replaced the flash hider with a break, cut barrel from 16ΓÇ¥ to 14.5 and pinned the break to make it 16ΓÇ¥ total. Pinned the Stocks and 30rd mags to 15(now 10). Everything needed to turn any AR Jersey legal at a great price.. He has gone out of his way and called NJ state police to confirm I could purchase Steyr STG77 (AUG) and leave flash hider on since they donΓÇÖt count it as having a pistol grip. Allowed me to bring NRA pistol student classes to range to complete live fire portion and not charged me to shot. I could go on and on but just know he is very fair, very knowledgeable and a great guy to work with!! Give him a call and if he canΓÇÖt help you he will at least point you in the right direction.

One of the most friendly places to shoot with a qualified gunsmith ready to answer any questions. This range gives the user a more intimate mom and pop type of store then the bigger ranges. DetSgt A. Diamond Retired

George is a straightforward guy! The place is warm, and the staff treats you with respect! Whether you're a newbie(like myself) or one of the regulars, they give you the time and energy that you need. I purchased my first gun with them and recently used the range to practice. His son gave SOUND advice and they made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Will definitely be doing business with them in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you!

Recently had my 9mm worked on there. George quoted $100 yet ended up charging me only $85. Work required sourcing an "out of stock" sear, installing and reconditioning a 30 year old pistol. Got it done quickly. Recommend you give them a chance to help you!

I dropped off an AR-15 upper months ago, with George, for the bayonet lug to be ground off and a muzzle brake to be pinned. The sloppy blue finish on where the bayonet lug was is uneven with exposed bare metal around the edges (now rusted) and the muzzle brake wasn't indexed properly. The brake was pinned and welded, clocked off center (12 o'clock at 11). Not a total show stopper but irks me nonetheless, considering that I provided a set of shims with the brake. There's a reason why he charges less than the competition. You get what you pay for. Edit: You never offered to refinish the barrel or anything of that sort, so don't give me that nonsense about "price point." I didn't even complain about the "color matching." Regardless, it was a sloppy application of whatever finish you applied; it didn't cover the edges of the milled out section, which have oxidized. Yes, I provided you with a muzzle brake that I purchased from another retailer, but either way, you probably wouldn't have installed it properly anyway. Nice attempt at a straw man argument, implying that it would have made a difference with the lazy workmanship. Manufacturer states that it is supposed to be indexed at 12 o'clock, and they even supplied a set of shims, which I provided to you, and you didn't even use any; the index mark is off center because you did not index it properly before drilling and pinning, plain and simple. I thought you were just lazy or careless, but now I know you are a liar as well. I would imagine that good customer service dictates that you stand behind your work and offer to make it right, instead of deflecting responsibility and blaming your incompetence/laziness on the customer, but lesson learned. You get what you pay for.
