Guardian Training Center

Q: Do I have to be a member to shoot? Am I allowed to bring my own ammo and whatΓÇÖs the biggest caliber allowed?
A: No, yes, yes.
- Guardian Training Center (a year ago)
A: No you don't have to be a member to shoot and the biggest caliber idk.
- Zachary Holmes (4 years ago)
A: All Pistol calibers are allowed that I know of. Shotguns they only allow 12 gauge slug/00 Buck. Rifle I believe most calibers are accepted that I know of as they have a 50 BMG you can rent but to be sure the ammo has to be maximum velocity up to 3,388 fps & a maximum energy up to 3,600 ft/lbs. If the ammo will surpass those then it isn't allowed. Also no steel core ammo is allowed.

A: No, I took my infant here the other day to shoot my 12 gauge
- Nick aguado (6 years ago)
A: I wouldnt bring anyone over 100.
- William James (6 years ago)

Very nice range no complaints but the 5 stars is from the excellent customer service I received. I was having an issue with a laser I was putting on my handgun and an employee was more than happy to check it out and fix it for me for no cost and extremely fast. Will be going back even though it is a bit further out of my way but worth it to support a professional and respectable business

I canΓÇÖt say enough good things about this place. From the staff to the facility itΓÇÖs self. Even the lessons that they provide. Me and my family did a carbine class recently and had Mike and Jerry as our trainers. 10/10 recommend.

Just finished an absolutely fantastic rifle training course with Mike and Jerry. We started with a review of the fundamentals ranging from "know your rifle and how it operates" and then progressed to proper shooting stance, loading/reloading, various rifle manipulations, basic shooting on the move and clearing different types of malfunctions. We learned so much today and are looking forward to scheduling the next session soon. Guardian is NOT a standard shooting range but clearly a training center where you can invest time to learn pretty much any aspect of firearms (and firearm safety) and if you are going to own a firearm putting the time into proper education and training is critically essential. Guardian is hyper focused on safety which makes the entire experience very comfortable and allows for a very effective training and learning experience. Bar none its the best firearm (and everything that revolves around firearms) place to learn, train and become proficient. Thank you Mike and Jerry for a great session - we will be back soon!

Great place! Its the first time ever going to a indoor range. When I came in ,the counter people asked how can we help you.Told them we would like get a bay for pistol. They asked us to go to lobby and fill out safety forms on tablet and come back in when done. When we went back to counter they assigned us bays to shoot. When we got to the room the ( RSO) Range safety officer greeted us and showed us how to use the target equipment. A very pleasant experience .We will be regulars there be during winter months. For my friend and I new hobby is shooting during retirement..

Our trainer Matt was very patient with us and took time to explain and demonstrate. We will definitely return. The only downside was that we made an appointment to come in for our training session, but we had to wait 40 minutes.

Worst store/range in the area. They seem to want way too much information like asking for your drivers license when purchasing ammo. Never been asked for that anywhere else. They also seem paranoid and you always feel like you are being watched. Figured it was worth a shot but ill stick to my regular local shops like Tanners/Survival Trail/Target World who always make you feel welcome. Typical reply from the owner always blaming the customer. Guy must be a paranoid wife beating alcoholic. You need to protect your patrons ( if you have any ) from yourself. I find it comical that your tiny brain goes to immediately blaming the customer when you get a bad review. If you would like me to use smaller words so you can understand them please let me know i would be happy to reduce all my words to one syllable. What have I done that I do not want to provide ID to buy ammo, nothing. I have plenty of NFA items that prove there is nothing to hide. What are you hiding behind all your rage????

Outstanding education for a 1st time shooter. Took into to pistol course with my wife & daughter. Or instructor Dave was not only knowledgeable, but to time to attentively review all safety aspects (handling, loading, checking) prior to taking us to the range. On the range we shot about 20 rounds total, broken up in groups from"getting use & targeting" through smoothing trigger pull. Will definitely return for further instruction and hopefully purchase.
