First time going. We had some Europeans shooting with us for the first time who had an absolute blast trying the rental AR-15s. I played some battleship against my other pals as well. These targets are $2.25 at my range in NC stand alone and you could likely get them $1per with their 7-bundle deal. On the other hand 9mm's a little steep at >$0.3/rd. But great staff and a clean and functional indoor range. - Thanks!

I've used the range here for over 10 years. Always loved it when it was Hi Caliber. Went in a few weeks ago and could only stay on the range for 20 minutes due to the poor air quality. The odor and haze from the guns was so bad. They really need to keep up with the filtration system before people start getting sick. This was first thing on a Sunday I was the second person in the range.

I love this place, have been going here for years. I always get helpful advice and the range is super chill. They even helped my daughter her first time using her new rifle at the range. We have lots of great options in Cherokee County but Gunsmoke is the team that has earned my repeat business.

First time there, some stuff (clothes etc) out front and the guns and range is to the back. Very clean. Super nice folks working there. Very helpful in deciding what to buy. Hooked me up for the range to test fire some rentals that were similar. Ended up purchasing there based on selection, but more importantly the staff. This'll be my go-to going forward. Well done!

Wasn't too much that made it unfavorable. I personally think the store is spread out too much and makes it look like they don't have much stock. Would have been nice to have someone in the front half of the store to greet customers. I was a first timer there and was confused when I opened the door and saw clothing. Someone to say hi, what brings you in, or to help navigate. Once I did make my way to the back half of the store where I was looking for a new everyday carry, I felt like I was greeted then forgotten about as there were regulars. Kind of gave the feeling of if I haven't spent money there before then they weren't going to waste time on me. You don't need a hounding salesperson, but at least a person that comes back around to see if I have questions or if I wanted to check out anything from the cases.

Great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff make this a great place for beginners and experts alike. We had a group ranging from those who had never fired a shot to those ready to stand and deliver, and the staff helped make sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and ready to have a good experience. We walked away with several new converts to shooting who had a new respect for the safety and necessity of guns. Highly recommend.

I went in to buy .357 sig tounds. I was informed they do not sale and have not sold for years. My mistake. Should have just taken the time to drive to Jasper to Appalachian. I will from now on.

6/5 stars! Amazing gun store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Prices are out of this world good! Cheap guns, ammo, and only $15 for all day shooting on the range! Bring a friend and the second person is only $10! This has replaced my old range for me!

I finally found my firearm store! A friend of mine recommend Gunsmoke Firearms about the knowledgeable staff and a safe place to learn about self defense. I was impressed when I visited the store. The staff answered all my questions. After a few weeks, I asked about a shotgun for self defense. Many questions were asked, by me, and answered by the staff. I bought a KelTec which I decided was my best choice. I highly recommend Gunsmoke Firearms!! Gunsmoke also offers training so that you can know how to use your firearm.

It may be challenging after a while to deal with newbies. EVERYONE at this store has been patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Every store carries limited brand options, so take a peek on their website if you just gotta have a thing. But, when I've gone in and asked about "do you carry xyz?" Their folks have shown me what is comparable and walked through the differences. I've actually bought an optic based on Greg's advice. Also, he does lessons, and I did, and I recommend. I'm so sorry. I forgot their gunsmith 's name. Just met him today. He was INCREDIBLY patient and went the extra ' today. Actually went on the range with me for quite a while (10min,ish) And, they were NOT dead empty. This store is where I popped my cherry. So, it's always gonna be special to me. But, this review is 6 months after my first purchase. I've been in there every week since. Yes, I have the bug. And, I have to recommend this store. God bless America.

Range is decent. Their retail is pretty disappointing in the service category. Reason being, one time my dad wanted to go shooting with me. He tried to buy two boxes of ammo and they told him it was one per customer. They said I didn't count unless I was the one paying, so I said ok. At the second transaction my dad gave me cash and the cashier told me I wasn't allowed because it was my dad's money and that I had to pay card. So I did, the guy was glaring at me angrily the entire time like I was trying to steal from him. It was a pretty bad shopping experience and since then, I've never bought ammo or anything from them.

A great place to shoot and meet people! They have good sales and knowledgeable people. One person I would like to give a shout out to is Greg! Every so often I take one of my older guns and on two different occasions I had a problem. The only one to fix it was Greg. Each time was a different problem and both times Greg got it right and fixed! And he did it both times with a smile. All in all Gunsmoke is a nice Family Place for Families that shoot. Not only do we shoot there all the time I have bought a large safe and much ammo amongst other items there. My hat off to a fine organization!! Dan Randall

Didn't have a great selection of 9mm in stock. 3 different types in all. I feel like the front half of the store could be better utilized. Seemed like a lot of open space.

Absolutely fantastic time for my sons first range experience today. The team at GUNSMOKE were fast with service and sparked a huge interest with their massive selection to choose from. Prices were well within line and range fee was more than fair for 2+ hours.

IΓÇÖve been to many different gun stores throughout the country, and this one is HANDS DOWN my favorite! They have a good variety to chose from, both pistols & long guns. Purchased my Glock 43X from here, and it was an amazing experience! The staff are very knowledgeable, professional & down to earth. WouldnΓÇÖt want to go anywhere else!

I live a couple hours away and stopped in while on a buisness trip and told them about a problem I had with academy having the best prices but every time I go thereΓÇÖs an issue and they canΓÇÖt give it to me. Well they were able to help me get the gun threw one of there distributors and it was even cheaper than academy and the other big box stores.

Excellent and knowledgeable staff really tie this store together. If you have a question they have the answer. Right now they have some great deals on classic CZ, Berettas, and Steyrs freshly imported from Europe.

Awesome experience today! Matt was awesome and went above and beyond to help me with a small part I needed when they had run out of oops kits and I was missing only a detent. Will definitely be back again!
