John has to be one of the most patient and nice humans weΓÇÖve had the pleasure of encountering! After chatting about rentals and wanting to learn more, we took the 60min private lesson and was blown away by how much we all learned and benefited from his instruction. Sometimes gun stores can have that stigma of ΓÇ£if you donΓÇÖt know I donΓÇÖt want to talk to youΓÇ¥ but none of that existed here. They were kind, courteous and patient with us as we asked our dumb questions. Thank you John for the amazing Sunday!

What a wonderful range to bring new and experienced shooters. As an experienced shooter the staff is really nice to talk to and bounce off ideas and hints that may help your shooting, but never judging. While new shooters get the piece of mind knowing there is a range safety officer there to help mitigate their mistakes or any others on the lanes. Really a great place to shoot.

It's an okay place to shoot. Employees are a bit rude. I wanted to rent two lanes and was told I couldn't because there was only one available despite there being plenty when I got into the room. I was asked if I'd ever been there before and when I told him it's been a year he almost threw a fit. Really bizarre behavior and somewhat unprofessional. It's definitely a good ol boys type of place.

This is a fantastic range and facility. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I went here with my family and enjoyed the experience so much I returned with a large group. Be sure to ask about their MILO system. I cannot more highly recommend this range. Pay them a visit, you will have a great time!

I went with my friend for our first time shooting at a gun range all the staff were super friendly and very informative on showing us how to use the gun the right away and made sure we were comfortable with shooting. Thank you to everyone for the great experience and especially the female firearms instructor for helping us hooking up with an extra gun for the long wait they were pretty busy that day and they still gave us recommendations for which gun to shoot and didn’t rush us on anything!💯💯 Im Forsure coming again😁💯

Had a great experience being a first time shooter. Took the 30 mins instruction lesson and the instructor was amazing and made sure that we were at a good starting point. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and inclusive. They answered all our questions without rushing.

I have done a lot of shooting at the Hangtown range and everytime has been an excellent experience. It's the best indoor range I have been to in my 30 plus years of shooting.

So I went here for the first time recently as Sierra Shield Firearms Training partners with this range for a CCW Course. I have passed this range in the past, yet I never stopped in, and boy I have been missing out! They have a store, locker/ lounge area, bathrooms, I believe 25 yard firearm range, oh....and did I mention they have a indoor archery range!!! If it's indoor shooting with archery, or firearms that your seeking, this is the place to be! When I spoke with the staff about pricing for range fees, the staff was kind, helpful and able to answer any other questions I had. I would recommend you check them out the next time your in the area!

Great range! Beyond helpful staff! Hubby had been encouraging me to learn for awhile and I kept putting it off. He finally purchased the basic safety class with one on one lessons. Needless to say I went in nervous and apprehensive with no knowledge of firearms and was instantly put at ease. The range feels welcoming and inclusive and those that work there are passionate about teaching skills and imparting wisdom. They are always available to answer questions and I never feel rushed or intimidated. IΓÇÖve learned a ton already and itΓÇÖs forever changed my life. IΓÇÖm all in now. Thanks guys!

This is an outstanding indoor range. Everybody that works here at this range is very knowledgeable very kind and very helpful. ItΓÇÖs not often you run into a range with those wonderful attributes. Everyone should go in and check them out itΓÇÖs a lot of fun and very affordable and itΓÇÖs safe. I do believe they have some classroom stuff and some instruction stuff and thatΓÇÖs amazing to hear people need to know what theyΓÇÖre doing with their gun before they use it, thank you !

It's a hidden place to have fun in Placerville, California. Super friendly staff compared to no other place that I went to. Hangtown Range is so clean from the lobby and inside the range. Well lit, and they have a medical air purification system inside the range, so you don't need to wear a mask. And the best thing that me and my friends love is the staff. I don't mind driving from East Bay to Placerville to visit this hidden gem.

I took my 14 yr old son here to teach him about gun safety. Everyone we dealt with were very helpful. Answering any questions I had. One of the gentlemen even helped show my boy how to hold and load the weapon. Great experience for both of us. Plan on returning again soon.

A very warm and friendly firing range. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Not over crowded. Practical understanding of firearm safety and use. Highly recommend this range for anyone from "just learning" to seasoned veterans.
