A: Yes they have layaway, it is a 90 day program I believe, if they don't have the gun on the shelf, they can get it in for you. Check out their website

A: Yes we can accommodate that type of class. You should look into a private session with one of our instructors. Come in or call the shop during business hours!

A: Highsmith has a large selection of hand guns, don't know if they have that particular one. Give them a call, I've made a couple purchases there and they will negotiate price. They also have a nice indoor pistol and archery ranges.

I have been here a few times. Sometimes I go with my son, he brought me there the first time. I found that I can get the ammo here that I can not get at most other places. 44 Special is a great example. The staff seems friendly enough, from my limited experience.

These guys know guns, ammo, and are always on top of their customer service game. The indoor range is nice and the staff are always happy to offer tips or suggestions for beginners. Take advantage of their guns for rent in the range, helps you try before you buy and you donΓÇÖt have to clean it after!

Amazing experience. Just did a handgun class (I can't remember the instructors name. If you're reading this boss man, I apologize) learned more in the past 2hrs then in my years of shooting. Genuinely a great Christ loving man, his knowledge and ability to teach it is incredible. 11/10 recommend

Dropped off a rifle to have a muzzle break put on. Did good on the muzzle break. Didn't like the new scoffes on the barrel though.

They have a nice indoor range and everyone on staff is helpful and friendly. They handle transfers for a very reasonable price and do a great job doing repairs as well.

I moved to the Indy area from a small town in southern Indiana that had a fantastic gun shop. Going to some of the shops up here was really eye opening because they were indifferent, boarder line rude. Spring 2023 went to Highsmith to buy a pistol, great experience. Took the pistol back to have some gunsmith work done to it. Another great experience. Last week I did an FFL transfer here for a couple of AR15's I bought online. When they came in there was a problem with the paperwork. Even though it wasn't their fault they went above and beyond to take care of it. An easy five stars for Highsmith.

Took my black rain and got it cercoated in mil-spec plus it came out perfect to me, as close to that color as I think could be gotten

Awesome experience. Ordered a gun via gun broker. Very smooth transaction start to finish. Highsmith called me & that my gun was delivered within 30 mins of me getting the notification from ups. Every employee I made contact with was friendly & knowledgeable.

Dropped off my pistol to have them install a new trigger and got my gun back with the lower frame scratched and chips on the trigger. After some talking we were able to come to terms and have the issue resolved. ItΓÇÖs very nice to know that they do care about their appearance and customer satisfaction. And besides the couple of mistakes, i can say IΓÇÖve had zero bad experiences with them overall. I really do appreciate how far they went to make things right.
