Mike and Mike were expert advisors, made the range educational, safe, and fun! Very nice compound layout of ranges! $25+$15 membership and $15 entry fee every visit after! shoot what you want for as long as you want.

I had a fantastic experience at Hillside Rifle Range today. While shooting my brand new .380, Mike from the staff was incredibly helpful, giving me great pointers on shooting comfortably and accurately. I also had the chance to sight in my AR, and Kirby was equally amazing, offering advice on narrowing down my shot and getting my new scope dialed in. Although it's an outdoor range, they provide everything a shooter could need, including tables for your gear and the flexibility to use any paper target you prefer. The rifle range extends up to 100 yards and has an indoor shooting option with a decent setup. For the price, it's unbeatable, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a solid range experience.

Strange week day hours, rather expensive. Nice looking range. I only shoot a few times every year. Cheaper to drive to a WMA free range that is open 7 days a week dawn to dusk.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! They even made some extra brief accommodations when my new to shooting girlfriend started having anxiety and let us take her over to the rifle range to shoot a pistol while no one else was there. I don't know what all days the independent armorer (I think separate from the range itself) is on site but they have very reasonable pricing on safety gear, guns, and even their full-auto suppressed MP5 rental! Renting the Silenced .22 pistol is what allowed me to turn my girlfriends experience around.

Spent the day at Hillside shooting range. First time there and was a very positive experience. Staff was helpful, and the facilities were well kept. Will go back again.

This place is great, and the employees are super super nice and will help you with anything, you couldn't ask for better people because they are the best, thanks for the helping me sight in my new rifle, can't wait to come back.

Great range with friendly people. I've been going here for a year now and will continue going here. They are continuing to improve and a location close to Prattville is a big plus.

Wonderful experience today. Not my first time on a range but this was my first visit to Hillside and I was very impressed. I met Randy and his Wife and really enjoyed their company and conversation. After getting the information for membership and an explanation on the range rules, I joined as an annual member. The range is very well run and all of the other people there using the range were friendly, respectful and very safe. Everyone on the range respected the range safety rules and the RSO (Randy himself) was very patient and accommodating. I personally prefer having an RSO present to run the firing line and to call hot and cold ranges for shooters. This is a great place and I'm happy to have found it.

Great staff. 2 knowledgeable gunsmiths on Saturday and Sunday. RSOΓÇÖs are not overbearing and bossy. My favorite range. Do wish for more distance on rifle range.

A nice size range with separated bays for pistol and rifle shooting. Easy to get to. Friendly staff. On site store. Range officer on site all the time for me that is a deal breaker when it comes to membership. Decently priced membership. Highly recommended!!

Glad to see a range thatΓÇÖs actually close by to Prattville. Fair prices and staff are nice, and as long as you follow their rules and use common sense theyΓÇÖll help you.

I was nervous and anxious about my 1st experience, but the staff at Hillside made me feel safe. Jay taught me so much and helped me become more confident in handling my firearm. I highly recommend Hillside for anyone... even beginners like me. I will 100% be back!

Range safety office and other folks are very knowledgeable and strive to provide the best in SAFE shooting. (listen to them..or else...lol). Nice set-up.
