Hit or Miss Archery Center

So I am a complete newbie had no idea what I was looking for but I'm determined to hunt elk with a bow. These guys set up 4 bows for me and let me shoot them all set up for me. I chose the bow I felt like was for me and picked out my attachments and they where super helpful In teaching me how to shoot properly and get my new bow sighted in. It took a lot more then I though basically cause I wasn't in bow shooting shape but these guys did a great job and helped motivate me and answered all my questions and did the best they could to get me corrected. I still have a lot to learn but these guys are always great to give advice!

Already had a few experiences where they overcharged me.The last time I went in to draw length checked They said one of my cams was broken and needed to be replaced which wasnΓÇÖt true.

It's definitely worth a stop into Hit or Miss Archery. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Huge assortment of new and used bows at competitive prices. Huge selection of archery accessories for both hunting and competition shooting. Awesome indoor range, set-up for everything from target shooting to 3D shooting.

This was a fun date night. My boyfriend and I wanted to do something different for date night. I didn't realize I would love it so much I didn't want to stop. It was 30bucks a person for 1hour. They close at 6pm.

Like this place. Pretty chill range and workers. Technicians are very helpful and skilled with working on the bows and answering questions. Range doesnΓÇÖt have that much space side by side for people; that said, IΓÇÖve seen it full but never had to wait for a spot.

This place does not communicate with the customer. I ordered some limbs for my recurve and was told they would be in in a week....12 days later they weren't even ordered yet! Stay away from this place!

Shop has a wide selection of compound bows and archery gear. The shop is on the equivalency of Lancaster Archery. They have a very nice shooting range. Staff are extremely professional and friendly, they are also very knowledgeable of the products they sell. Learned they will also ship to you if you live outside their area. Will be returning customer via their online platform since I live outside the state. Nice little gem find while on vacation. Highly recommend stopping in if youΓÇÖre in the area.

Ive been going here for 4 years now. These guys are super friendly and helpful. I've never had an issue with any of their bow builds or arrow work. It's nice to have a local shop like this to help me fill the freezer.

Really great, kind and friendly place, theyΓÇÖll give you awesome lessons and thereΓÇÖs a big indoor shooting range. They helped me prepare for a National Competition that I had coming up in Utah and for a competition I had with other schools, I really recommend Hit or Miss Archery to experienced or people just starting to join. Really one of the best places I have been to for shooting practice. Thanks again Hit or Miss Archery.

Hands down the best archery shop and indoor range in Albuquerque! The most knowledgeable and friendly staff as well as a decent selection of products. Thier 40yd indoor range is perfect for tuning or just playing since one side is for paper targets and the other is packed with a variety of 3d targets ranging from raccoons to Bigfoot. An absolute must if your an archer!

This place is amazing! I never been to an archery place. I had no clue! They (cody, marcos, julee, neil, ben *i hope i didnt miss someone*) were beyond nice! Cody showed me how to use the stuff, very patient and explained things so well! This is a great place! Next time I am in town I am making sure I make time to go here to have a day of it! Thank you all for your help and being beyond wonderful! This was a great experience, thank you so much for helping me check off an item off my "midlife crisis bucket list" 😊

My boyfriend brought me in to buy me my first bow and Mikey was BEYOND helpful with getting me set up. As a beginner, everything seemed intimidating but the staff there is extremely knowledgeable and very informative every step of the way, I felt very confident walking out. Truly outstanding customer service!

Was traveling through from CO to AZ for an archery mule deer hunt, noticed a slight rattle in my top cam so stopped in hoping it was just a quick fix. Worked with Mike and he got me in and out in 15 minutes, back on the road towards my hunt. Great shop, knowledgeable staff and you can tell theyΓÇÖre all hunters! Good to know IΓÇÖve got a solid shop for all my archery needs when in NM!

Easy location to find with good parking. All staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Mostly a compound bow shop but welcomed my longbow and myself. They have longer range shooting and movable targets on rollers so you can shoot at any distance that you want. They have paper shooting and a lot of 3D targets. On the wall they have posted many many targets with perfect scores. I normally shoot at a plastic golf ball at 20 yards (photo included). If you are traveling through Albuquerque stop by and shoot a few arrows. Price was $15.00 for 1 hour of shooting.

I came here to buy my first compound bow very new to the sport and hunting. They came highly recommended. When I went in with my brother we got the bare minimum in service. They did not help me get my bow adjusted and set up right for me. They pretty much just measured my arms and set up my bow. I actually had to watch YouTube to realize that I am sky drawing so I had to turn around half way to Santa Fe and have them drop it to 40 pounds so that I get better with that and eventually get to 60 70 pounds was very disappointed especially for spending almost $800. I donΓÇÖt know if itΓÇÖs just because of the way we look covered in tattoos and not looking like your normal hunters but really wish we had a Archery store in Santa Fe that is where we are from. Hope you guys have a better experience. Update: I spoke with the owner Neil we discussed the issues that I and my brother had. He said he was going to address them. He was very concerned and addressed how he was going to fix my issues changed 2 star rating to 4 star. Very good business owner. God bless you guys and be safe.

This shop is hands down the best shop I have done business with. They are super helpful and do everything they can to get you up and running. IΓÇÖve lived a lot of places and been to a lot of bow shops. No other shop has the total package. Great target range-great 3d range-knowledgeable, FRIENDLY staff. Friendly is not always guaranteed at some bow shops but these guys are great! If you want to learn or youΓÇÖre an old pro this shop is for you.

I know nothing about archery but my kids were begging to try it. The staff at Hit or Miss helped us get set up with rental bows and gave us a quick rundown on range etiquette and how to shoot. My kids loved it and I really appreciated how accessible this experience was for a group of newcomers! My youngest is a Kindergartner and he was able to shoot and have a great time.

I was in this store yesterday needing a Mathews bow tune up. I walked in and was greeted immediately by Cody, how can I help you? I told him what I needed and what my bow was doing. Within 30 minutes I was shooting arrows touching each other again. All I had to do was adjust the sight from there. He knew exactly what to adjust and tune to get me shooting accurately again. The 3D target range is also very nice to test the work they just completed. I am super picky when it comes to my archery gear but I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone needing gear or a pro shop. Keep up the Good work !!

I came in to purchase new arrows, and with hunting season around the corner, I figured I'd be on my own for getting my sight and setup re dialed. Cody helped me with arrow selection, built them, and spent several hours working with me, and adjusting the bow. After shooting some paper targets, 3d targets, and paper tuning, my bow is back to shooting laser beams. Thank you SO much to Cody....dude is a huge asset to the shop.

I was greeted by every employee within 5 minutes of walking in the door. The store was busy, but Cody assisted me in finding a good bow within my budget. He didn't try to high pressure any accessory. He'd recommend one and show me a higher and a lower priced alternative. When he built my bow, he explained every step of the process. Their attitude treats everyone as friend or family. All told, Cory spent over 3 hours getting me set up, making sure I was comfortable with my choices. I would highly recommend Hit or Miss to everyone.
