Q: What are the age limits to shoot at the range?

A: There is not an age limit, however, you of course want to ensure they understand safe gun protocol and no gun handling while the field is cold. It's a great family experience, hope you enjoy!

Q: There does not seem to be any support for moving the targets to the 10 or 15 yard positions. That is what the concealed carry certification distances are. Can I make my own stand and bring it

A: Sorry, we don't allow bringing your own standards, especially at closer range due to the risk of ricochet and injury. The range was not designed for pistols. Thanks for asking first.

Got to get there at the right time. Otherwise you could be waiting for a bit. But nice place would recommend.

Great shooting range. Everyone is very professional and respectful, all you have to do is wait for a decent time and everyone agrees to go cold and then agrees to go hot. Best shooting experience ever!

I like this Range! Been coming out here when I first lived in Arkansas 2010-2012. Moved back here in the end of 2016 and since then I try to come back as often as I can! Unfortunately itΓÇÖs not a good pistol range but itΓÇÖs a decent rifle range. I personally think thereΓÇÖs way better ranges but itΓÇÖs alright for more recreational shooting. I wish it wasnΓÇÖt so small, and that they would push out the range a bit more but again itΓÇÖs Arkansas so itΓÇÖs alright.

Very clean. There's usually a wait on Saturday and Sunday, but you get to shoot. Most of the shooters are safe but there's always 1 or 2 that haven't learned safety. They handle their firearms when the range is called "safe" or "cold" or they don't have muzzle discipline. I REALLY wish there was a spot for targets at 21 feet but all they have is 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards. The concrete shooting lane doesn't seem to be that safe to me as ricochets can easily glance off it and end up who knows where...

Mixed feelings at least it's opened again Not much has changed since the "renovation". They did at least get rid of the silky and expensive bullet trap and put in safer low maintenance park benches. I do wish they'd have over laid the pale concrete with something less light reflective. Not too bad an issue in summer but in the winter the sun light is either in your eyes and or reflecting off the concrete. But like 30+/-;years and that's it for NWA?? The state of Missouri has roughly 6x the public ranges of different sorts scattered throughout their state. Arkansas counting the forest service ranges around 12. I don't blame the local state employees this is the administrative fault of Little Rock politicians and bureaucrats.

Great Range! Wish it was a bit larger, but it was nice! I enjoyed being under the awning! Great times 🤙

Always crowded. Very small to support the area. Distance isn't very long. The county needs a range with so many more lanes and at least 200 yards

I have been going to hobbs for a while now sunday morning at opening time. When it closed the rumors were rampent. I only know this, if I had the $130,000 its said it took to make all the "repairs" . I would like to think. Seeing as I do have a mobile cutting tourch , plus a couple of my brothers, and we would of done WAY more than. Take the back stop out, haul it way,and move some of the big rock off the site. You know thinking about this. The removale of the brass was an undertaking but hey I wounder how much they scrapped that for?

Just found this range today and I was very impressed by how clean and professional it is. Concrete on the range with posts at every 25 yards out to 100. Tall trees on each side of the range made it very comfortable. I still cannot believe that this awesome a range is FREE?

ATTENTION RANGE NAZIS... No one cares about how much you think you know about safety. The shooting range apparently is where the range Nazis like to hang out. During a ceasefire I was showing my weapon completely unloaded to a patron nearby. People were coming and going from the parking lot with Firearms. We were standing back from the firing range. people were handling firearms. But of course you have to have those range Nazis that come up to you and say, you know you really shouldn't be handling a weapon during a ceasefire. Really because people are coming and going with weapons constantly. I'm not pointing it down range ding dong. Im a veteran of a foreign war. I think I know what I'm doing.... in other news the range is in decent shape, there is a Outhouse restroom there, it is gravel parking and gravel roads leading to there. My only complaint with the range is that paper targets are not provided for free as they are in Missouri. However you can't argue with free. It is a free-range.
