Idaho Sporting Clays

Q: Do you have membership, and if so what are your rates. Or how much per day ex. Thanks
A: Yes we do have memberships, they are $50.00 a year and that takes $5.00 off of the regular price of $20.00 per round so you only pay $15.00 per round. So, if you come out several times a year it saves you money.
- Idaho Sporting Clays (a year ago)
A: No membership required. It's 20$ per round of shooting or 15$ per round if you are a member. The last time I was there it was cash only.
- M Townsend (a year ago)
Q: Are you open on sundays?
A: Yes, we are open 7 days a week from 9am to one hour before dusk

A: Are the membership cards available?

Had an absolute blast here, Craig is very friendly, and went over basic rules of safety and how to use the equipment provided, staff hovered enough to make sure we were staying safe but gave us our space, the course is very interesting, itΓÇÖs a good challenge for those who want to get better at shooting clays. Fair pricing and all they ask is you respect their rules and property which I 100% agree with, throwing clays kind of sucks, luckily here all you have to do is push a button! IΓÇÖll be making that drive on a regular basis

Nice course but poor customer service, particularly from Craig, the owner. He assumes that everyone knows what his vague descriptions mean. Also don't drive over 5 mph or he'll jump your case for that too. The staff was observant but not in a friendly way. It had the feeling like they were taskmasters, trying to catch you doing something wrong. The course was not so amazing that I would be willing to put up with their poor customer service to visit again.

Went to Idaho Sporting Clays today for the first time with my son. Quail Forever was having a shoot there. Really enjoyed the facility. Very well maintained, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a fantastic sporting clays experience!! We recently visited Idaho Sporting Clays for the first time on a hot sunny day! Let me begin by saying, this is one of the nicest, well maintained clay shooting grounds on this side of the state (OR & IH). The owner Craig, despite the heat, went above and beyond to not only give us a tour of the property, but also stayed around for a while to provide a thorough introduction, and guided us through various shooting stations with helpful tips until we felt comfortable. The facility was clean and the shade from tree cover made the hot day much more bearable. There are a few deers on the property which was pretty unique for a shooting range. All stations provide a different experience so they know how to keep things interesting. CraigΓÇÖs wife, Lisa, and the neighborΓÇÖs kids were incredibly hospitable, serving refreshing iced beverages and even gave us lovely souvenirs. Although we initially planned a short visit, we ended up staying until the evening because we were having such a great time. What began as a fun day out shooting clays turned into lifelong friendships! We exchanged contacts and plan to stay in touch.

Where do I start? I love this place! The coarses are fun and challenging. The pricing is good. The staff are fantastic. I showed up one day last winter during a blizzard. I was the only one on the whole course. The owner, Craig, loaded me up in his buggy and drove me out so I didn't have to walk in through the snow. The location itself is loaded with huge shade trees. They give everyone a safety talk along with a run down of the rules before you start. I've never felt unsafe while there. It's just a great place to go. I really can't say enough good things about it.

Will never go here again! The customer service was so horrible. I have never had a business owner treat someone the way they did! Over something so stupid! You only need to tell a customer one time not to drive down a drive way, and if you had a bad day or bad customer before that's on you to make sure the next one is treated differently. Good customer service will either make or break a company and I see this one going down quickly!! Make a more permanent sign that says you can't drive here and Noone will drive there problem solved!!! Don't yell at your paying customer for you not putting up a decent sign that will stay in any weather or maybe you should just shut the gate instead of yelling at your customers.

I have been out to Idaho Sporting Clays multiple times over the years and it has always been one of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere was always amazing and it is an overall enjoyable experience with the different stations that allow you to enjoy shooting clay pigeons from a variety of locations in angles. That being said, Idaho Sporting Clays is under newer management. They are incredibly disrespectful and ultimately turned us away the last time we attempted to pass the evening shooting. As much as I enjoy shooting shotguns and Clay targets with friends and family they were disrespectful and inconsiderate enough to turn us away. If you can put up with absolutely terrible service, the overall idea is a lot of fun, But good luck getting past the front desk.

So much potential that fails. ItΓÇÖs an hour from Boise so you hope itΓÇÖs worth the drive. ItΓÇÖs not. Management is cold and less than welcoming. They donΓÇÖt seem to have any experience or training in customer service. Grounds are dangerous with broken stairs and uneven walkways. Also littered with fallen branches everywhere. IΓÇÖve gone a few times because the shooting stations are well laid out but have become boring because the targets are always the same. It would be easy for ownership to move the angle of the throwers slightly without much effort but they donΓÇÖt seem to care or are lazy The clubhouse is outdated and the bathrooms have broken commodes, dirty sinks and floors. With attention to detail and a better attitude from the staff this could be a nice place to shoot. Too bad it isnΓÇÖt.

A great spot to get out and go shooting. Some challenging stages but 2 courses over all and a great location. Plenty of shade too so don't think you need to cover too much. Reasonable pricing and definitely going back for leagues and competitions when they have them. Also CASH and CHECK only. Make sure to bring some

If you ever imagined having your own sporting clay course in your backyard, this would be it! Was my first visit, so didnΓÇÖt know what to expect, but was referred by someone that regularly went to Black Dog before closing. There are two course, and selected to just do the upper course. A new family from Nampa purchased the property in 2021 and are super friendly. They expect to have EZ pass by end of August, but given I was alone, the owner took me out and operated the machines. The course is set for average shooters, so donΓÇÖt expect competition style. What I loved was shooting in tree cover into pastures; closer to what you expect bird hunting. Its a drive from Boise, but given the atmosphere and management, IΓÇÖll make this a place to visit regularly when in Idaho. Thank you for going out of your way, IΓÇÖll be seeing you soon!!

What a fun place to shoot clays. ItΓÇÖs a beautiful place and well maintained. IΓÇÖve brought my wife as well as all three of my sons out there. They all love it. Folks that run the place are amazing and we just really enjoy our time out there. Zero complaints. Always an amazing time.

WeΓÇÖve been out several times to shoot clays here and have had a great experience every time. The owners are very nice and the course is clean. As someone who has only shot clays a handful of times, it provides a good challenge but I was still able to hit a good number of them and have a blast doing so.
