I bought a Springfield 45acp garrison. I got the blued version but was advertised as the grey model. Ok fine but the manager was never smiling and scrutinized the transaction like I was pulling a fast one. Is this the friendly impact guns traditional? Really like impact guns but wonΓÇÖt use the SLC 21st store again. Seemed the manager was too full of himself to understand business and sales. Really unfortunate IG doesnΓÇÖt have a regional managers handling guys like this. Managers need supervision like all other employees.

Me and my wife went here just to try and get my wife in the door to getting a firearm. The guy up front with the Hawaiian type shirt was super friendly and showed my wife how to properly hold a handgun and helped us find what she liked. We went back to the rental counter and the two guys that were back there were also very friendly and helpful but what made the experience even better was they let us use their own personal firearms to test shoot since they didnΓÇÖt have the ones we wanted to try there. My wife and I had a great experience here and would highly recommend!

IΓÇÖm only giving this one star for one reason. The inventory, staff and service are 5 stars BUT the price of a transfer fee for having a suppressor or NFA shipped in is insane. I used to work at a store down in Florida and the owners lowered the fee after electronic submission began. Impact is currently charging $150 when x tek is charging around $60. This is just to accept a suppressor from another business. This is becoming an archaic practice which was started because of the long wait times on NFA items taking up inventory space in a store which is 100% understandable. Impact should lower their prices of this practice OR just make it simple. You pick up your NFA item within 30 days you pay $60 anything after that $150. Or offset the price if you spend $100 on merchandise then itΓÇÖs $50. I purchase a good amount of NFA items online and I will no longer have them shipped to impact until they fix this issue, IΓÇÖll just have them shipped else where and save my money. Again everyone here was super nice and pricing on ammo is really good and guns are competitive and the range is pretty good as well but you guys can be moving product just by saving the customer $100.

This is my favorite 2A store around. They always have a huge selection, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and their prices are usually cheaper than any other dealer.

Dishonest company. Avoid. They will not honor price matching from other sources. They wonΓÇÖt even price match their own online prices / website.

I was in this store for an hour trying to see a gun. 30 minutes of that was waiting in line because no one would come to the gun counter. In this process I heard one employee who could not explain the difference between .556 and .223. Also had one employee in some Hawaiian shirt tell me standing in line is the best way to get help. They are to busy to help customers out on the floor. There were 2 other customers besides my family there. Will never be back. Will never purchase from here ever.

Please teach workers customer service. I only go this location if the SLC location doesn't have the item in stock. The SLC location has friendlier workers. Please hire friendlier workers. I don't want to go to stores if I don't feel welcomed. Reply: I felt like he didn't want to help me at all. It felt like he just wanted me to leave. I endured longer because I already drove far to get there.

I’ve being going to impact for many years. Today marks the final day of doing business with them. I wanted to use the range to sight in my AK, and i brought “range friendly” steel cased ammo ( no steel core). So they take their magnets to it, and of course it sticks its steel cased. The dude didn’t even try with the actual bullet itself, what matters. So he says you can’t shoot this here. I said why not? He said company policy. So you don’t want to deal with steel casing because you can’t resell it? I ended up going to red dot in Layton way out of my way, just to test my ammo. They took the time to check it properly. They let me shoot it (amazing huh) Another issue months ago I was doing a transfer. The man doing the transfer flips out on me like if I was a his child. “You want me to lose my license?!” He said very rudely to me. If anything at all it’s YOUR JOB to double check paperwork. I’m a 30 year old man being talked to like a child…… 0 stars. Avoid this place of rude and lazy employees. I will going out of my way, to do firearm related business.

If your inquiring about anything... The younger guys kind of help. Don't even bother with the older guys.... I always get a Big time "short timers" feeling walking into there. Not sure who's doing all the selling. But it wasn't the crew today.

Bry was very quick and helpful when I was picking up an AR-15. I didnΓÇÖt get to spend a lot of time in store, but they seem to carry a wide variety of just about everything. Definitely want to go back!

One of my favorite shops. It only took a few visits and the guys here started recognizing me when I come in. Now I've been frequenting for several years. They are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure I get what I need.

Best group of guys you could ask for working at the store. You can go to Impact to shoot your guns or shoot the breeze; to get educated on basic or even obscure questions; to sharpen your skills on the range or sharpen your understanding of gun law; to browse for weapons at good prices and be surrounded by a wholesome and friendly environment while doing so. ItΓÇÖs not uncommon seeing three generations walking around in there, keeping good traditions going. IΓÇÖve bought four guns at Impact within a 14-month period or so, and I have no reason to stop there. ItΓÇÖs a worthwhile home-away-from-home at this point and is worth every minute.

This was a negative review but I went back because they had a gun I was looking at. SO much better than before. The sales person helped me find the gun I was looking for and rung out in less than 15 min. I'll be back.

I've loved this place for 20 years. The staff is amazing. They truly care about me as a valued customer, not as a cash cow. The low rating is because the owners don't care one bit about investing in the shooting range. The tracks are a mess, always failing, especially the rifle lanes. Lighting is just pitiful, the exhaust system, if there's one, is even worse. Please owner. Make Impact Guns great again.

This is honestly a great place for first time gun buyers! I even took my conceal carry class with Clay and absolutely loved it. He is very knowledgeable in the laws and the regulations for CC. I learned a ton from him in his class and would recommend it to everyone. KY and Adam are also really great people to talk to about your needs for a fire arm they are very friendly and dedicated to help you find your perfect gun. I also love the range here I think itΓÇÖs the best in Ogden! All in all I would recommend this place to anybody who needs a gun or ammo. I donΓÇÖt know why there are so many negative reviews, I havenΓÇÖt had any problems and really enjoy this establishment.
