Great store and firing range. When i was last in comparing guns for no more than 5 minutes to make a purchase decision. I want to be sure, guns are not cheap. I was getting eye rolls and attitude from the woman behind the counter.

My wife and I have taken two of our three shooting classes at Insight Shooting Center. Our third class is scheduled for next month. The classes are unbelievable! My wife has only shot three times in her life prior. Now, she is hitting all 9 & 10 rings. I personally have learned more in these classes than I did in six years in the military and 33 years in law enforcement. My marksmanship has never been this good. Our instructor Cody is amazing with his knowledge and unbelievable marksmanship skills. He is extremely patient and makes the classes fun for everyone. I would HIGHLY recommend these classes to anyone who is serious about greatly improving their shooting skills.

This place is the most unprofessional range i've ever been to. They scam elderly and average people there all the time. Their advertisements ads are lies. They will con you to think you getting a good price and add several more fees that they keep hidden. Very rude & ran by people that id advise not to take any class's from. If I could give it a 0 star rating i would.

We have been here a few times and it was set up nice. However, on our last visit, I accidentally left my magazine in our lane after our shoot. Arrived home and realized right away what I had done. I called immediately and explained what happened (approximately 20 mins). I was notified it wasn't there. I was told to call back the following day so someone could check the cameras. I called everyday of the week up until Friday when I got the answer. I was told, "It was tough to see, but she didn't see anything suspicious ". What does that even mean? Tough to see. This is a gun range under video surveillance with no range master. The purpose of having your cameras is to save you in case of litigation, God forbid something goes wrong. Is that what you tell the family? Sorry... tough to see what happened with our dated camera system. Well... I'm out $38.00 range use and $68.00 for a replacement magazine. Yes, I left it there, but some dishonest douche steals a magazine left behind by another 2nd Ammendment supporter is low. And to top it off the excuse of we didn't see anything suspicious, is a tough pill to swallow. Won't be back and recommend. Other choices in Prescott and PV.

If you are looking for a place to learn this is the place to go. My wife was a beginner and she wanted to learn, so she went with some friends and had a good time learning safety and gun handling. I have heard from neighbors that they are good overall but customer service is not the best but I did not witness this myself. So it may depend on the trainer and their own personality.

I appreciate the training I receive at Insight. Ladies night is fun and my skills continue to improve. There are 2-3 instructors available to answer my questions, offer insight and then leave me alone to incorporate the information. The improvement in my timing and accuracy on multiple targets, has boosted my confidence. I recommend this center.

This is the A-team of gun joints; outstanding classes, gun store, and shooting range. Thank you James for the deal on a Walther.

Sherrie doesn't seem too interested. My suggestion, don't go to her for an opinion. Also, the owner is the typical industry standard, condescending. Not to mention she completely missed the point of my review. Read below.

I took Matt and SheriΓÇÖs mental dynamics class 12 to 15 years ago. I have not been on a range or shot at targets since I took that class. The top target next to the quarter had two mags 30 rounds from a Glock model 20 chambered in 10mm the target just below it is one mag after being taped 15 rounds, same gun. Not exactly as good as I was doing but not bad this many years later what they teach really works and really stays with you. Very few people can shoot one whole groups out at 21 feet thank you insight!

Very friendly service, which I thoroughly appreciate, especially in contrast to the other firearms store in the area. The downfall though was a smaller selection, and once I found what I was looking for in there I website, it was about $40 more than the other place with bad service. So I'm a little torn by that, wanting to reward good service, but also wanting the best deal possible.

My experience was not so great. I was looking for parts for my Daley carry and asked them 3 separate time if the parts would fit my fire arm drove all the way down from flagstaff for the parts not to fit definitely a rookie mistake to tell someone something itΓÇÖs not wasted 3 or more hours of my time and gas for nothing

I recently attended a CCW course at the Insight Firearms Shooting Center. This was my first visit to the center, and I was quite impressed. They have a wide selection of firearms; competitive prices; firearm rentals, so that you can try many different models before you buy; an indoor range; staff that is friendly and knowledgeable; and, of course, they have training programs. The CCW course was fantastic! Matt and Sherie Seibert, two exceptionally qualified and experienced people, were the class instructors. They delivered all the pertinent CCW information, along with their personal and professional experiences that were both entertaining and informative. Having a CCW credential may not be a necessity for residents of Arizona, but a CCW demonstrates that you have taken the time to obtain firearms safety training and that you are aware of the laws that are related to self-defense. In addition, there are many other states that recognize an Arizona CCW (reciprocity), so if you prefer to keep your firearm with you while vacationing in one of these states, you can do so, as long as you adhere to any restrictions other states may impose on out-of-state CCWs. By the way, I completed the CCW course; submitted the CCW application and processing fee to DPS; and my CCW credential showed up in my mailbox less than two weeks later! Keep up the great work!

Great place to shop and shoot all in one building. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and are more than happy to take the time and answer your questions. They have very competitive prices on their products. I highly recommend this store.

I've been dealing with Insight for almost a year now, and I simply cannot give them enough praise. The staff is knowledgeable, and if they don't have an answer, they do the work to get one. The store itself is well kept, and the range is equally so. They are super safety minded, and ensure that everyone is aware of what they expect of people on the range. Which is why I am baffled by some of the reviews left here, stating that "I am upset they spoke to me about being unsafe" What do you expect? The staff has everyone's safety in their hands, and I wouldn't expect anything less when it comes to issues being corrected! I feel very safe shooting there, and would recommend them HIGHLY!

Really in all seriousness, it's really a poor business model to treat paying customers like they are beneath you. If you are a firearms instructor and you see something that goes against your house rules approaching your customers with a little class goes a long way to establishing a good working relationship and goes a long way to having them come back and spend more money. I know not hard to grasp right? So if as a customer you like to be treated this way after spending your hard earned money, go no further than coppers star in camp verde they have cheaper range time and about the same distance from dewey south. 100 yard rifle range and a smile that greets you. Enjoy!

This is the only place I go for my firearms needs. I always get treated with respect. The folks here are top notch!

The range is darn close to 5 stars, but the store is more like 2-stars. First of all, the prices on the firearms are higher than you will find anywhere else. I purchased a gun there and am now completely jaded because it was much less just a mile away (yes, shame on me for not calling around more). Then, they missed an excellent upsell opportunity by not offering something as simple as 10% off any accessories you buy at the same time. I bought a mag loader ($30) only to find out it was $25 at another range. They also could have offered coupons for their range and classes but failed to do that as well, so as nice as it appears, I probably won't go back. I live closer to another indoor range and they gave me no reason to drive further.

Top-notch staff and instruction, VERY professional. 40+ years of law enforcement experience and training says it all. These folks have hearts of gold, arming the community with this vital information and support for the right reasons. I highly recommend Insight to anyone who wants to learn about personal protection and gun safety.
