Great facility with a kind, informative, and safe staff. My group and I shot skeet for nearly 2 hours with James, then headed over to the pistol/rifle range to shoot our personal weapons. We had a blast. The metal targets are so gratifying to hit! We all will definitely be back.

Today I went to Michigan shooting center, it was my first time trap shooting. I had a great time from start to finish. The staff were very polite and professional. James and Eugene were the range officers, they both were awesome. James is a great shooting coach! I will definitely return as well as recommend this place to anyone that's looking to practice shooting.

I tried out the trap shooting today and if it were not for the cold, I would have stayed all day. The prices are very reasonable and James gave us pointers. We had a great time, and will definitely be back.

Amazing service and the people were incredibly friendly. Just visited for my first time shooting clay and the experience was great. Would definitely recommend going here first, even if you havenΓÇÖt shot much before!

IΓÇÖm completely new to shooting, so I booked a private lesson with James Chamber. What an amazing experience! James was thorough, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely comfortable. He guided me through every step, and by the end of the hour, I was already shooting confidently and felt like a pro! This place left such a positive impression on me that I ended up purchasing a shotgun from their other location, which was another fantastic experience. I will definitely return for more classes with James to continue learning and sharpening my shooting skills! Highly recommend!

Went yesterday with 2 others to use the pistol range and shoot clays for the first time. On the pistol range, had an issue with a new pistol. Range staff fixed the issue and gave us advice on the mechanics of the pistol. Then went to shoot clays. Instructor took the three of us and basically gave us a private lesson on the technique of shooting clays. All three of us were consistently hitting clays after a few shots. Staff at this place genuinely wants you to learn and have a great safe time. Will be going back, possibly today!!!

Island lakes is a beautiful sporting clay center. Cosmic clays 5 stand at night on 12/26 was a blast. Will be back again.

Went shooting for the first time ever, and had a wonderful time with a great instructor that was patient, helpful, and funny. I was surprised by how successful I was at hitting targets. I will definitely come again!

Great range, excellent sporting clays, and good trapping & skeet. The only thing missing is a area where you can bring your own clay thrower so you donΓÇÖt need to pay fees for practice (like on the Pontiac Lake State Park Range). It would be also good to have a 200 yards rifle, which is not available yet! ThatΓÇÖs why I am giving a 4 stars.

One of my favorite ranges. ItΓÇÖs well kept, and has every type of shooting you need. Very lucky to have a place like this in ΓÇ£southeastΓÇ¥ Michigan. Really nice clay course that is great in all seasons, with many stands and difficulties to choose from (they switch up the arcs too so itΓÇÖs not always the same each time you go). I just did their cosmic clay event which was so unique and very fun. I will keep coming back!

Had an amazing time! Went clay shooting for the first time and had so much fun! We had the most amazing instructor who was able to teach our whole group how to shoot clay pigeons! Even those who have never shot a gun before in their life were hitting multiple pigeons. The more experienced members in our group got to try out more difficult targets. A great time was had by all and the staff was amazing!!!

I'm really not into guns AT ALL. In fact, I'm uncomfortable around them. But my husband owns some firearms and likes shooting so I brought him here for his birthday with a group of friends. We had no idea what to expect but we ended up working with James as an instructor to do trap shooting, and, wow, we had SO MUCH FUN. I would even do it again. James worked with the experienced shooters to challenge them and help them learn more, and was really patient with all the beginners just showing us how to hold the shotguns and other basics. We were impressed! Highly recommend spending the afternoon here!

Alway a great time. Can on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. A few minute wait to get a lane that was it . It was only like 18 bucks per person.

Good shooting, friendly staff. They have trap, and sport clays. The levels of difficulty for the sporting clay. They also have a rifle range and one for hand guns. The ranges are often monitored by someone at all times, and the sporting clay houses sometimes you will see a staff member drive by just checking things out.
