I have been shooting for many years and have an extensive background in military aviation and risk management. This community has a gem here. It is safe, clean, friendly, family oriented, and heavily populated with disciplined sport enthusiasts. One of the many training opportunities offered is weekly free pistol practice on Wednesdays to anybody interested. A variety of pistol matches are hosted every Saturday. Additionally the club has Incredibly reasonable membership rates.

First timer to this gun range. I went on a day pass for the pistol range. Overwhelmingly great experience. Talked with the gate guard about the range and how Im getting back into the sport. they then directed me to the range masters on duty/ instructors. I was able to get into an area with others and do my own practice. Along with getting useful tips/training help from friendly members and instructors from time to time. overall I had a great experience with how the range manages itself, the availability with space/target stands, how welcoming/ friendly everyone was. Definitely check this place out!!

Easter egg hunt Ruined by the Noise Pollution from this Property. 85+ Deciebels AGAIN! THIS business needs to be Closed Permanently 10am on a Sunday morning, 85+ Db of noise polution. Worst neighbors in the world. Significant noise pollution! They do nothing to contain their significant noise pollution. Unable to hold an in-person, phone or internet conversation in the house with windows closed. When on the phone I am often asked if I live in a War Zone.

The noise doesnΓÇÖt bother me. I can block it out. The over-shooting into my yard is another story. It doesnΓÇÖt happen often but all it takes is once. My neighbors window has been shot out, IΓÇÖve had bullets whiz by overhead and into trees. Please make sure the shooters are being responsible and know there are homes on all sides of this range.

The constant noise is awful. I prefer the sound of peace. I hope this becomes an indoor range!

I shoot here once a week, great place run by volunteers. Looking at the negative review and wonder why someone would buy a house on Gun Range Road then be surprised they could hear gunfire. seems a little obvious to me LOL

Great range! Excellent facilities. Surrounded by woods, pretty isolated for it's location. For those of us don't have a lot of time, it's great to be able to get away and spend time at the range and not have to drive 45 minutes, not to mention the alternative--finding someplace "in the woods." It's really well maintained, clean, well organized, private and safe. It's been in operation since 1964, when it was fairly remote, now, people have developed the surrounding timberland and want it removed. One can only wonder why they bought and built there, knowing it was next to a gun range?!!!

I've been to JCSA a few times. It's run by volunteers, taken care of by volunteers. It's a decent range, capable of taking care of most everyone's needs. Cheap yearly dues. To join you have go through orientation which is smart. Not everyone knows gun safety. I like the place and people I've met there. The NRA is just one of the many organizations to hold classes and events there. Very well run by a dedicated staff of volunteers.

Pretty dang great range. Varied facilities from 100m to 300m rifle range, a 50m anything goes range, three close combat bays, a shotgun field and patterning board, club house, warm up shack, and archery trail A few bits of paperwork and there is a required orientation to join, but I have had nothing but good experiences at this range

A great range! Has trap, archery, pistol, rifle... Anything that you shoot or hunt with, they have a range for that. Staff is friendly and stresses safety. Breaks in shooting to retrieve targets are coordinated with other shooters as there is no "rangemaster" normally present. Grounds are fairly clean. Everything is performed by members that volunteer their time. A great value with reasonable membership dues.

I don't know about shooting there, but I can tell you living by it is a horrendous experience. Constant barrage of noise prevents any kind of quiet enjoyment of our home.

This place is a joke! ThereΓÇÖs and older man there who is with out a doubt a stickler about every thing!! Bought a membership here for $75.00 a year (BIG MISTAKE) this man, every time I go to shoot which has only been a few times due to not wanting to deal with this him has harassed me every time! I went to today and wasnΓÇÖt aloud to shoot the metal gongs because there for ΓÇ£competitions on WednesdayΓÇÖsΓÇ¥ even though the door was wide open for what looked to be for members use!! I turned in my badge and will not be Renewing my membership I will never support this gun range as long as heΓÇÖs present.. would not recommend even going there just to shoot itΓÇÖs $10 for a drop in.. WHAT? To shooot your own gun? Give me a break $5.00 is more reasonable

The range, itself, is a nice outdoor range. But unfortunately it is ran by a small group of people that seem unable or unwilling to professionally manage a gun range. Clear policies are not available or posted. Safety is a matter of watching out for yourself. Don't expect help from the club should there be a safety problem. "Dud" ammo? There answer is just throw it in the bushes. Internal management and controls are almost non-existent. Communication with members is terrible. If you want to shoot, you pretty much have to join the club. But don't expect anything more out of the club. It's better than going to a gravel pit to shoot, but not much. Too bad it's so poorly managed.
