Went in to look for a new AR, right after walking into the store one of the guys asked me how old I was. I told him I was 18 and immediately he told me to leave the establishment telling me I had to be 21. IΓÇÖve been to several other gun stores and have bought rifles from them. Not once was I ever treated like this or told I had to be 21 years old to even enter the store.

Was visiting from El Paso, TX for business and stopped by a number of gun stores before this one. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the firearms they had as well as having plenty of firearms in stock. ItΓÇÖs great to see a gun store and range that feels inviting and hospitable with great staff and clean store and range.

Really really poor service BAD Customer service IΓÇÖm a recurrent costumer and they charge me doble price for one Rifle, please check retail prices before buying really bad experience. I asked for a rifle, they showed me 2 or 3 and I decided for one they told me 1400.00,and I bought it I checked prices I realized that they charged me double and when I picked it up they attended me badly maybe because my English is not very fluent, but I do understand prices. It's really a lot of extra money that they charged me I'm really disappointed thank you for answering.

Brought my 9 mil to see if they could get a bullet out that was stuck in the slide. Not only did they do that but they didn't even charge me for it. Extremely nice and friendly.

I was contemplating giving 3 stars because I did buy mine and my wife’s first guns here and the guy we dealt with was friendly, though that doesn’t go for all of them. I can’t go higher than 2 because the same complaint as everyone else…the prices. I overpaid for my pistol by at least a hundred bucks, my wife’s was overpriced too, and the ammo was the banger. It was a surprise after paying $50 for a box of ball ammo and $80 for a box of hollow points, then going to academy the next day and seeing the same ball ammo for $15-$20 a box and the same hollow points for $40. As I learned more about guns and got a better idea of the market I returned and noticed almost all of their guns are very overpriced (not just a little.) Finally, when I brought that pistol that I bought from them back to do a trade or sell ( mind you I paid well over $600 for it and only put maybe 700 rounds through it) they offered me $150 to buy it and $175 for trade in. So when I see that even their used firearms are overpriced while giving these low ball offers I can’t give them my business anymore. To the employees credit, he did strongly urge me to bring it to a gun show or try to sell it privately. I was on the look out for a standard gen 5 Glock 19 at the time too and I went to academy first where the price was $540 and then to this store where it was over $600. I get that you are a small store, but when the prices aren’t even comparable then that’s just not sustainable.

I recently just added an AR15 to my arsenal and still amazed by the experience. Everyone especially August and Malakai were extensively knowledgeable and humble on showing me the intricates of the rifle, also I was offered some great discounts. Definitely will stop by again to pick up a vertical grip and a suppressor when I have the time. P.S. My immense gratitude to August and the gentleman who gave me a great discount on the ironsight.

Justin and Arsenio were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the process. I thoroughly enjoy my experience every time I go to the range to target practice or to get some products. IΓÇÖm very grateful for them and donΓÇÖt take them for granted. Some of the other things I have learned about this is life is short and must not be taken for granted. I have bought fire arms here and ammunition in the past. But I got in trouble with one of my guns trying to clean it. IΓÇÖm not even sure if itΓÇÖs one I bought from them. But the guys behind the counter were really expert and knowing exactly what to do. they had me up and running in moments and I was extremely impressed.

I am a new AR-15 owner and didnΓÇÖt quite know certain questions I should ask. Literally, everyone took their time out to help me extensively understand the mechanics of my rifle, along side the membership in graphic detail on how discounts work and not only that, but also explaining updated conceal and carry policies. YouΓÇÖre very genuine individuals, and they definitely know their stuff. Oh, and their inventory is out of this world at great prices. See you guys soon.

Quality service after more than 10 visits... counter guys are cool.... but firearm mark ups are a little high and ffl cost have went up.... cost of doing buisness I suppose.... feels good walking in and hurts leaving.

The guys at this shop are fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and share their expertise in a humble & professional manner. I brought my Glock 19 in to have the iron sights removed and a red dot sight installed. They did it on the spot at a very reasonable price. DonΓÇÖt take a chance messing up your weapon trying to DIY. Let the pros do it.

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. I have shopped at this store numerous times over the years. However, since they moved to Airline Hwy., I've noticed a shift in the way they treat their customers and the way they go about selling guns in general. Their prices have gone from being mostly competitive to mostly over priced. Their used guns (current production guns, but used) are often priced within $50 of brand new. Also, even though it's a given that they only pay a fraction of the gun's price (on used guns), they flat-out refuse to negotiate price. Most recently (today), I called to inquire about the price and availability of an NAA Pug. The clerk who answered the phone said that they did not have it in stock, but they could order it. Fine. But, when I asked what the price was or would be, he said, "look, we're really busy here today. If you want a price, you're going to have to come in. We don't have time to give you a price over the phone." So, let me get this straight.... YOU don't have time to answer your customer's MOST BASIC OF QUESTIONS - like how much it costs - BUT, YOU WANT ME TO DRIVE TO YOU TO FIND OUT???? You want me to jump through MAJOR hoops (your customer) but, you don't want to jump through a VERY MINOR hoop?? VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! Needless to say, I, like others, will never spend another dime with these idiots! They OBVIOUSLY don't want or need my money. ****UPDATE 4/10/2024)**** Within the past 4 years, I've since started working in the firearms industry. Supply side to be precise. I find that the firearms manufacturers, distributors, and dealers that I work with to be fantastic people overall and typically go above and beyond for their customers. So, it comes as even more of a surprise to me that Jefferson Gun Outlet hasn't learned from those that supply them with their product how true customer service is supposed to be. I've spent several minutes today re-reading through preceeding and more recent reviews alike, and it doesn't seem as though anything has changed with Jefferson Gun. They're still jerks! What's even more interesting is their replies to selected reviews. NOTHING is ever their fault. That's amazing! I find it hard to believe that in every single instance of alleged wrongdoing, JGO passes the buck and blame onto someone else. It's always their supplier's fault. It's the ammo manufacturer's fault. It's the customer's fault. Not once have they manned up and said, "we screwed up and we're sorry." Gun and ammo manufacturers don't price gouge! They don't inflate the price just because they don't have something in stock when ordered. They put it on backorder and ship it out (at their normal price) as soon as it's available. So, their repeated excuse of "we're having to pay more too" doesn't hold water. They're flat-out gouging whenever possible. It appears as though my initial review is not a fluke. 3.8 stars out of a possible 5 and an abundance of one-star reveiws says it all.

I have purchased several firearms here and have had an awesome experience every time. Everyone is professional friendly and very helpful. Whether I'm going to the range to practice shooting or making my next firearms purchase, this is definitely one my favorite places to go.

Went there to buy a guns twice. One guy (I don't remember his name) was super rude to me everytime I went in and everytime I asked him a question he acted like he was pissed I even ask him anything. I am relatively new to guns so I am obviously green but the guys attitude was super ugly and not just to me but to others. The 2nd time I went I saw him tell a guy to put his kid in his car because his son was being noisy. The kid wasn't even loud he was just laughing at the video he was watching on his phone. I will NEVER buy a gun from this establishment ever again and I suggest everyone else do the same. If the owners/employees are rude to their customers why should I support them.

Customer service was horrible they stereotype me for the clothes I had on I was coming to buy a few guns they don't want to service nobody I think it's a lil racist in there if you ask me the one on causeway treat you fair
