Yuri and Jim's: A True Testament to Customer Service! Let me tell you, my first handgun purchase was a rollercoaster, but Yuri and Jim's Gun Shop turned it into a fantastic experience. Initially, I had a less than stellar interaction with Tony. I specifically asked for a pistol with optics readiness, and was sold one that lacked that feature. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. However, Jim's Gun Shop truly values customer satisfaction. They allowed me to return the incorrect purchase within 24 hours ΓÇô a gesture I deeply appreciated. That's where Yuri stepped in, and he completely transformed my experience. Yuri is a gem! He took the time to understand my needs, offered expert advice, and patiently answered all my questions. He even reminded me of a pistol I'd handled the previous day, one I'd dismissed due to Tony's lack of explanation. Yuri explained the features, benefits, and even showed me how to properly handle it. He made sure I understood everything. Because of Yuri's knowledge and patience, I walked out with the perfect handgun for my needs. This experience highlights the difference between a simple transaction and genuine customer service. Jim's Gun Shop, and especially Yuri, went above and beyond to ensure I was happy. Mr. Geary Chlebus is an excellent and very knowledgeable instructor for the Concealed Handguns class. Very thorough when explaining situations or scenarios so students gets a clear understanding. He has a large amount of personal experience.

Had one hell of a class today it was amazing what I learned. I couldnΓÇÖt believe the depth of the subject matter going through step-by-step of the concealed carry about justified self-defense where I can and where I cannot shoot or carry a gun I am amazed of what I have learned, Gary is the man I would highly recommend Gary.

We had an outstanding experience at Jim's Gun Range, and we highly recommend it! me my father and brother, and arrived unsure if they would allow foreign citizens to shoot, but the staff, particularly Scott and Christian, made us feel welcome right from the start. They were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure we felt comfortable and safe. The approval process for Icelandic citizens was smooth and easy, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The range itself was excellent, offering a great selection of guns to rent and try out. We got the chance to shoot with both the M4 and M17, which was an amazing experience. Whether youΓÇÖre a seasoned shooter or a first-timer, thereΓÇÖs something for everyone. We found a weapon that suited each of us perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed but focused, and the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. Scott and Christian went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience, showing us how to handle the guns properly and providing tips to help improve our shooting. Their expertise and customer service were second to none. If you're looking for a fun and professional shooting range, Jim's is definitely the place to go. Terrible customer service. IΓÇÖve been a customer since 2016. IΓÇÖve been dismissed and judged every time I come into buy or get ffl transfers. I waited 40 minutes for service and the guy (Mark) gladly helped anyone that walked in the door except me. Never again.

Great learning experience, open conversation, Mr. Geary is clearly an expert instructor with his way of keeping interest in each lesson and sharing personal experiences. IΓÇÖm thankful to have been apart of that class. Really mind opening. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone.

My wife and I took the CCH course on 11JAN2025. We honestly thought it was going to be death by Power Point. That was not the case because Geary made the instruction both engaging and funny. I learned plenty of information that will help both myself and my family in any form of legalities.

Outstanding instruction from Geary the Conceal Carry instructor. Informative, real-world situational instruction throughout. I consider myself to be excellent in the handling and firing of weapons... A few minutes with Geary during the live-fire portion of the class made me even better. I highly recommend and encourage you to take this course with Geary regardless of your experience level with weapons.

Geary is by far an amazing instructor. Keeps class engaging and interesting while emphasizing all the important aspects, and then some, of being a responsible gun owner and obeying the law. His class structure aligns well with my previous training as a peace officer so I can say that the instruction youΓÇÖre receiving will be top notch.

They were kind and are knowledgeable about their field, but I took a pistol in to get some sights swapped out, and the rear sight came back installed but also very badly rusted. I have no idea how that happened. Hopefully they see this and can make things right. It wasn't bad at all at first, I thought maybe it was just dirt, but it's gotten worse.

I took Geary's CCH class with my partner ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. If you can tolerate eight hours of old-head comedy and the reality of real-life firearm ownership you'll enjoy his class. Here's my gripe with Jim's; he (guest) teaches on a Sunday and although there were Jim's Pawn and Gun employees present, they just had the A/C off or on cold-mode in 46F morning temperature throughout the remainder of the 8.5hrs. That's cruel and unusual punishment for a North Carolinian. 🥶 The staff's knowledgeable, polite and straight to the point. While I realize it's their whole job to sell firearms, I really wish they had someone patrolling the floor to ensure no clients are pointing (albeit unloaded) firearms at other clients. The amount of times I get flagged or turn the corner of a gun rack straight into a head-level barrel is too high for my comfort. - Probably also shouldn't sell to clients who shrug that off as no big deal.
