I'm pleased that my family member has purchased a firearm after calling me for some advice on what to get. She and her roommate purchased it here from friendly folks who were helpful to a newbie. Missouri makes it easy to purchase, following the usual federal background checks. When visiting for the holiday, I brought her back to ensure that she understands safety and the operation of her firearm. After signing a bunch of releases and waivers, we were assigned a pistol bay in the range. I had brought my own firearm and supplies with a few boxes of ammo. We bought a target and my daughter rented ears/eyes to shoot with her new Glock. It was super easy to get set up with a very attentive range officer who was constantly on patrol and ensuring safety. I did not see anything that caused me concern and my wife was able to sit in the viewing area behind thick glass to watch. Other than being really really loud (.45's are far from quiet!), it was positive. The target mover worked well, the pistol bay was comfortable (if narrow for two) and the range officer also doubled as the brass sweeper. They have an interesting "drain" for brass that does not require scooping - just push it all into the drain and they'll take care of it later. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience at Centerfire and we will return in the future.

1st time ever at a firing range for both my husband and I. With deer season coming up, he wanted to test a new rifle/scope he bought. We walked in and instantly was greeted in a fun, welcoming way. They are so nice there. My husband needed a little help, and that was no problem. Had a very nice gentleman to help him out. What a great experience we had.

I felt very welcomed as a beginner shooter here. The fundamentals class with John was well worth the money. I will happily continue to come back here to practice.

They had what I wanted and ordering was easy but when I was concerned about a shipping issue the guy was frankly pretty rude about it. But whatever.

This place is so cool! They have guns for you to shoot on rental! I came here to shoot some handguns before purchasing one and man they have a good selection! Very kind and informative workers! Would highly recommend coming here if you're not sure on what handgun you want!

Welcoming. Knowledgeable. Accepting and supportive...they meet you where you are at in your experience and skill. No judgement...they really enjoy teaching and supporting others in their journey. Prices are affordable. Range Master is terrific! Great experience...will be returning soon....even though there are closer ranges, this one is well worth the extra drive. Highly recommend!! If you are new to guns...or have years under your belt....this place is for you.

I can't say enough kind things about this business. I didn't know anything about using firearms and I was able to learn everything I needed to know from their staff. Brock and John taught me about responsible ownership and handling. Their prices are very fair and reasonable. There was zero condescension, which as a woman was a concern, but I can assure you these folks are committed to educating anyone with any interest. They are there to help you in any way possible.

Joplin Centerfire is a nice, clean, and friendly range where you can go shoot without any fear of being shot by a drunken redneck. Their dogs are friendly, too.

Brock made getting a new firearm very simple. John is a great instructor, no condescension or egotripping, always made sure you understood the topic and answered any questions he could. Has great tips for training that I wouldn't have thought of myself.

This range is amazing and everyone is so helpful. No matter how well a place is run, how good it looks, and how knowledgeable the employees are, you're always going to have someone who has a complaint because it's in their nature. I retired off the border from Customs and Border Protection and I'm still learning things especially with how I conceal carry.

Welcoming place to train, learn, or shop. It's not a bunker or a dank pawn shop - it's a pleasant place to shop and shoot. There are often 5 star doggos. You can rent a bunch of guns and eye/ear protection. You just have to pay for their ammunition - which is marked up compared to a big box store but it's not egregious. The lanes have programmable drills if you want to use them. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and safety conscious. I notice the 1 star reviews involve people getting loose with their tongue or the safety rules. Both of those things should stay tight in a gun store. When I made a mistake once, I was corrected quickly and calmly. I come here regularly to sharpen my skills, try new things, and convert currency to loud noises. Bring your friends!

I was in this shop with a friend last week and was shocked at the employeeΓÇÖs lack of knowledge of the law. Maybe itΓÇÖs intentional to fill their permit classes but, either way, deceiving the public is unprofessional. The employee stated that a permit was required for non-residents in Missouri and surrounding constitutional states. When questioned he stated ΓÇ£I work in the industry, I know what IΓÇÖm talking aboutΓÇ¥ and also ΓÇ£I talk to the ATF dailyΓÇ¥. Not only are most state laws not written to exclude non-residents, itΓÇÖs unconstitutional to deny non-residents their fundamental constitutional rights. See the NY State Rifle and Pistol Assoc v. Bruen case 597 U.S. __ (2022) and stop misleading the public. Arrogant and condescending isnΓÇÖt a good style for customer service either. We wonΓÇÖt be back.

Definite 10/10. The staff there are extremely nice and made me feel a lot safer, knowing that it was the first time IΓÇÖve ever held a gun. Their membership prices are also really affordable!

Awesome experience. I was new to this range and the two people working there took the time to answer all my questions and talk about all sorts of things from buying and selling to classes and competitions. Awesome place.

Weapon skills are "frangible", meaning that they deteriorate over time when not used. If you don't have access to a place to hone your skills, you need to find places like this. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, courteous people. If you eed a place to work on your skills, or ask questions, this is a good place to go.

1st time going was yesterday and got a month membership & let me tell ya it's a great place!! The RSO was very very helpful while sighting our rifles & the 2 behind the counter were awesome especially the lady she was very helpful & answered all my questions that I had..I'd you want to purchase anything they have it all. GREAT PLACE....

Highly recommend this place staff was friendly and nice. Pricing was awesome, first time ever been here today. $20 for unlimited rentals up against the wall got to shoot 2 different other guns and we had a blast will be coming again!

Have been here a few times and the guy typically behind the counter is very short, rude, and arrogant with customers I went to use the range the other day with a friend and when trying to figure out how they wanted me to divide up the rifles I brought with me between the 2 stalls I rented I was berated by the worker behind the counter for about a minute straight because I said we were going to split the guns between the stalls which then promtee him to yell because I said that then only at the end of his episode does he say that we need to just split the rifles between the stalls and basically just yelled to yell and go on a power trip. So yeah as a customer who had just dealt with this person for awhile and has spent several thousand dollars in the store I will never spend another dime there again completely ruined the store and range for me.
