Employees here are sometimes dumber than a box of rocks and do not understand basic gun laws. I do not trust them being around firearms. You accusing me of a straw sale shows how much you do not understand about the law. It is not a "straw sale" when your legally able to buy and own your own guns! I understand kams hates the constitution and only wants to sell long guns to 21+ but the law is 18+ for long guns. You should research what a straw sale is. This is clearly why your employees do not know anything because you don't either. Maybe you should have some employee training here and teach them that Hipoint rifles come in 10mm. Also they seem to think you need to be 21 to buy long guns which is also not true. Great management, though im glad Instead of admitting you're wrong, you just accuse me of a straw sale. At least my accusations are accurate and true.

If you have a negative experience here, they will accuse you of breaking the law instead of training their employees. They also do not understand anything about guns so do not come here if you want real training or guidance go to peoria.

Took my CCL at KamΓÇÖs and had a great experience. Kevin and Fredo are amazing instructors. I use the range a lot too and itΓÇÖs very clean, well ventilated, and safe. Highly recommend.

Best place around for indoor range. Free rental Fridays is a great idea as well. They have a huge selection and easy to set up. Range is very nice and clean and the staff has always been willing to help me out whenever it is needed. Doing my conceal carry class soon too.

Came to KAMS for the first time on a Friday afternoon. Came in and stood there for almost 5 minutes and was never greeted by 2 employees that were in gun shop. Finally, gentlemen with a customer got done and helped me. Wanted to use the shooting range, and upon hearing rules and stories behind them and how to strategically enter/exit the range, I already started wishing I'd gone to the indoor range in Peoria. Got inside range and found a HOT TEMP room with 10 lanes. The two A/C units on the wall might has well been off. This was on a hot July day. Other aspects of range were just as disappointing. I might try coming back in winter.

I love stopping in and seeing the crew at Kams. I enjoy the range and rental guns. This has been a great location for bringing our kids for gun safety and familiarization. Thank you for keeping us local Kevin!

Great indoor range. Not as large of a firearm selection as some other local shops but I'm sure they can get just about anything. Staff is always very friendly. Very easy in/out process, which is great when you are pressed for time.

Very patronizing male staff. I’m a female ex-military person and I was talked to like I was five years old and was only tolerated because I was with my son who is also military. Other than being harmfully stereotyped…the range itself was good and everything was well kept. A little pricey, but it’s mostly the cost of the ammo itself. Nice selection of pistols and rifles.

The KAM Shooting Sports is fantastic! The range is well kept and very safe. There is enough space to keep your range bag and ammo, so no cramming everything into your shooting stall or putting it on the floor. It is a very relaxed environment here. The shop provides a great atmosphere for responsible firearm owners to practice using their firearms. There is also no time limit on your range, be there all day if you want. The store is awesome! They have a wide variety of firearms and accessories to fit anyone's needs. The staff is the best. They know their stuff without pushing products to make a sales goal. They always offer help to improve my overall firearm experience. Bottom line, don't hesitate to do business here. Great people, wonderful atmosphere, and a safe place to practice!
