Outdoor shooting, free and convenient. However, you must be sure of your surroundings and watch out because another group shooting out of the same section let a girl shoot while we were changing our targets. A couple of rounds went right by us.

Love the range! One of the last free and open ranges in this area. If it just wasn't for the pigs using it to dump their garbage and using it for targets. If you bring a microwave to shoot at take the thing with you when you leave. But than ,once a pig always a pig!

I been there once and it was great me & my son shot our guns and we cleaned up our area other people around were also cleaning their area lots of people there & all were respectful of each other

I enjoy target shooting here except that it is a dump. I'm postponing the purchase of another rifle because there is good chance this place will be shut down. After posting the above review, I took part in a range clean-up along with people from SPORTSMANS WAREHOUSE, REDDING GUN CLUB and the BLM. I now feel more optimistic about the range remaining open but the trash reappeared almost immediatly. Regrettable.

Not much of a range, no more than 10 meters deep. 100% DIY. No facilities. No safety officer. No witnesses....

One of the last places you can use your firearm for free in Redding. Please practice safety, and responsible range use!! And pick up YOUR TRASH! Even others if they are SLOBS!!

To review a hillside for shooting is trivial compared to the negligence I see at the range from its patrons. Trash, itΓÇÖs everywhere. Folks, if we donΓÇÖt pick up that trash when we leave, they will just shut this hill down.

Free range, but be careful!!!!!! Some guys will keep on shooting when you go down range to put up or take down your targets...
