Kidds Place Sporting Clay/Pistol Range

One of the great Eastern NC places to shoot sporting clays. I love coming here. We all miss Tom but we can still enjoy by frequenting his range. You must stop by if you love this sport!

Convenient shooting range. ItΓÇÖs outdoor. They sell ammo and targets. IΓÇÖve only went to the pistol range. They have steel targets in certain lanes and if you bring your own you can hang them (the device is mechanical to recall the target and push it out). $25 for one hour weather you stay for 20mins itΓÇÖs a flat rate. The woman at the front desk was very kind. You also have to sign the waiver and take a small safety test if itΓÇÖs your first time.

Fantastic outdoor range! I went before the Holidays with family and really enjoyed the pistol range they have set up. There is also places where you can shoot skeet as well. The staff was very kind and friendly too. It's very laid back and a great place to go to get away from the noise of the city. The only thing they don't have is a rifle range, but other than that they're all set up. They also sell targets and ammo if you need any. I'd definitely recommend trying the place out!

Kidd's Place was a fantastic time, I only did the 5 gun stand and it was a blast! Multiple throwers with different patterns and a remote control for single shooters to be independent. I will definitely be back!

One of the best outdoor pistol ranges around! The staff are all really nice, and the prices are reasonable. The range itself has a combination of paper targets, and a variety of steel plates. I have been coming here for a while and really enjoy it!

Awesome place, has a wide variety of shots. Several open field stands, as well as stands with tight windows. The staff was very friendly. 0 complaints. 100% will go back again.

I have been a member for a long time and I believe it is one of the best clubs in the state. Charlene and her staff do an excellent job of maintaining the grounds and equipment.

Definitely stepped up their gane as of late. Lots of fun targets, place is clean, roads are top-notch. I do wish the carts had gun holders, but folks with super nice guns dont use them anyway. Competitive costs, with membership deals. Get your friends together and go shoot a round at Kidds!

Went here with a friend for his first sporting clay experience. Overall it was a blast, shooting stations are nice, and it's a well maintained course. Only downside is they tax you per person on things that should not be. Golf cart rental is per person. How does that make sense? If I rent it alone or with 4 people, It's still one golf cart so the price should not change. Same with gun rental. I rented a shotgun, regardless of how many people are shooting it, it's still one shotgun. $20 per person for the shotgun rental. They don't rent eye/ear protection which is another money grab because you have to buy it.

This a great sporting clays course. The variety of the throwers and the property are excellent. Always had a great interaction with the folks who run it as well. Very friendly and helpful. IΓÇÖve also enjoyed using their five stand area as a warm up. HavenΓÇÖt tried their pistols section but IΓÇÖm sure it as good as the other areas. Golf carts are available for rent as well. All in all this is my favorite spot in the area.

The Kidds place for their pistol range was great. They have steel and paper open during week. Which works out great for me because I never know what time I have off to go to the range.I look forward to coming back for the skeet range. The staff at the front desk was awesome. this will be my new go to range!! Thank you very much to the staff at KiddΓÇÖs!!

I have been driving by this place for years now and I finally went to see what it was all about and I'm glad I did. So many gun owners like me who like to shoot pistols and shotguns will find everything they need right here at Kidds Place. I was so taking with this place I became an All Access Member my first time shooting there. The folks there are friendly, professional and knowledgeable and ready to show you a fun time and share this incredible property with you. Stop bye and see for yourself, you'll be glad you did.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Location is easy to get to. I shot pistol on paper targets and the metal targets. Was a lot of fun and reasonably priced. They also have shotgun skeet. Check them out. Highly recommend.

I came here with my brother he is an expert and I'm brand new and we both had a great time! Friendly and helpful staff. The place is very nice itself. We did both the 5 stand and pistol range. Love the automatic for bringing the target back and forth. Spacious and easy to navigate. Highly recommend!

I wish I could give 10 stars. This is the best place to clay shoot in town for beginners or experts. They also have a great pistol range. They are friendly and very professional, safety is their up-most priority. They change their clay shooting courses monthly so you always get a new challenge when you come. I would and I do recommend Kidds Place to every who is an avid shooter.
