Kings Gun Center

Q: I have an ar 15 I want to sell. Do you think they'll buy it for around 400$ or maybe 500?
A: IΓÇÖll buy it
- Kamarea Stephens (4 years ago)
A: We have a message board at KGC you can post it. Make sure it's ca legal before you do. $400-$500 is reasonable.
- Kings Gun Center (5 years ago)
A: Do you still have it???
- Felipe Fuerte (5 years ago)
A: I'm in the market for an AR-15. Contact me and we can possible work out a deal. Thanks
- Frank Fetcho (5 years ago)
A: I would be willing to look at it and possibly buy it but no the gun center doesnt buy used guns
- Julius Rojas (6 years ago)
Q: I purchased a shotgun from there do they buy guns back? Went shooting a few times and Isn't really what I thought it was gonna be. Too much on the recoil for my wife.
A: It's a shotgun what do you expect?! Duh...
- Greg Morales (4 years ago)
A: Ur joking right. They are a bunch of tight a$* . i purchase a gun from them two years ago it was on sale and it barely match market price at any gun shop. For ur next purchase try TURNERS at their new location in fresno. I guarantee you that u wont find cheaper prices.
- Jose Llamas (6 years ago)
A: They offer a special 10 shots for $10 b4 u buy, for next time FYI
- Daniel Ochoa (5 years ago)
A: I don't know if they will buy back, call and ask.
- Douglas Silveira (6 years ago)
Q: How much to shoot on day price?
A: I went last week paid $20. For the day... even if you go to lunch they will hold your spot....
- Allen Shirley (6 years ago)
A: I believe its a $10 fee for using firing range.
- Jose Llamas (6 years ago)
Q: When will the pistol league start?
A: I would call them direct to find out. I like the facility. People just don't know how much it costs to operate a "lead" free facility.
- Michael Lewis (7 years ago)
A: Have no idea ..... That place is a rip off.
- Jose Llamas (7 years ago)
Q: What I need to buy a gun.
A: You can call the store directly for exact information or Google search it. But I believe you must be CA resident with a picture i.d and proof of residence and a clean enough record to clear the back ground check and a hand gun safety certificate or a ccw.
- Cesar Martinez (7 years ago)
A: Please, before you purchase a gun purchase a gun safe. The staff at the gun center can provide additional details but I'll lay out the general process. You must take pass a test to earn the Handgun Safety Certificate. It costs $25 I believe, and the Kings Gun Center will administer the test. Read the study materials provided by the DOJ before taking the test, here's the link oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/agweb/pdfs/firearms/forms/hscsg.pdf You must pass the DOJ backgroud check. Convictions may prevent you from passing, including any felonies, and certain misdemeanors like domestic violence. The DOJ provides a full list online. The background check costs $25 or $35 I believe. Then you can buy the gun. Of course then there is the 10 day waiting period. Please practice safe and responsible gun ownership.
- Jason Tucker (7 years ago)
A: Is there a practice test for gun license
- Linda Berggreen (6 years ago)
A: Any one who works there will be more than happy to help you with the paperwork you will need to fill out to make sure you are able to have a weapon they are very professional in what they do.
- Kenneth Day (7 years ago)
Q: Do yall help in the process of selling a firearm from one customer to another?
A: Yes we do buy CA has not approved my 2024 license yet and we can't sell guns right now. Next week we should be going again.
- Kings Gun Center (a year ago)
Q: Any Ak47 selections? Wasr10 preferably
A: We often have AK in stock but right now we may have one. Call and we can check on availability at our suppliers. 559-585-2000
- Kings Gun Center (a year ago)
Q: Are you able to get a Sig Sauer P238 by any chance, thank you
A: We only get a few per month. Right now we don't have any in stock.
- Kings Gun Center (a year ago)
Q: Can you take your ccw class here
A: Absolutely. Go to www.KingsgunCenter.com click on training
- Kings Gun Center (4 years ago)
Q: is it legal to carry concealed on an amtrac train/bus within california?
A: I'm no lawyer....but "shall not be infringed" means just that....concealed won't be seen anywhere.... gun free zones are the most dangerous places...

I was very disappointed in the manner I was ignored. I am supporter of local businesses. I would rather give my business to a local shop in my own town than to go support somewhere else. But today I was disappointed in kings gun center. I stood in line patiently knowing the nature of the business and questions customers may have. But when itΓÇÖs my turn at the counter and no one acknowledges you and they give the attention to someone else thatΓÇÖs browsing and out of line, it donΓÇÖt take no effort to say or ask if I could be helped or I have a question.

IΓÇÖve always liked coming here, but the last couple times, I had but a shred of cardboard to hang my target on. One time would have been fine, but I was annoyed that it happened the next time too a few days later. It seems like the lanes are not being maintained like they should be. IΓÇÖll also take this opportunity to add that IΓÇÖve always wondered why you guys donΓÇÖt mark the yardage on the lanes? It would be cheap and easy, and most people like to know what distance they are shooting at. I asked what the maximum range was just to get an idea and the staff didnΓÇÖt know

Extremely helpful staff! Went out of their way to assist me in getting my California DOJ Safety Cert (first timer), info on most effective, efficient, and least hassle way to get my interfamilial firearms transfer processed. Told me how much a $480 shotgun purchase from the manufacturer online would actually cost me after the state makes their money 💰 off of it. All in all they were very friendly and down-to-earth, as well as informative.

Firearms safety classes here are suitable for those with little or no experience. Shannon, the instructor, really knows her stuff, and knows also about sales, laws, restrictions, and requirements to purchase firearms. Huge selection. Two firing ranges.

My issue with Kings Gun Center is it's complete lack of customer service. I recently did a firearm add-on certificate there to add a new pistol to my CCW. All went well until I was told that the owner was not there to sign the certificate, and that I could come back the next day, or they would email a copy to me the following day. Email was fine with me. I had not received an email within 3 days, so I called and spoke to an employee. Again Todd (the owner) was not there, but they would email the cert to me ASAP. An additional 3 days passed, and no email, and another call in. This time Todd was there, but he was busy, and they would get it signed and emailed. A week passed, and another call, and this time Todd was there, but in a class. I asked that he call me. The employee apologized and promised it would be taken care of. And another week passed, and another call in. This time Todd was there talking to another customer, but the employee promised to have him sign the certificate and call me. Nope... I gave up on Todd or anyone at KGC following through with anything they say, and finally went to a better firing range. I walked in, did my re-shoot, paid, and walked out with a signed certificate, all within 20 minutes. If you just want to shoot, KGC is nice. If you want good customer service, Fresno is only 30 minutes away.

Worst gun center ever if I was able to give a negative I would do so. The staff is very rude. Did not want to help at all. Was told that they werenΓÇÖt able to do transfers on the weekend. I called prior to arriving the person that I spoke to, did not tell me this over the phone. When I got to the store, they said that they had just changed their policy. We drove from Fresno. We also let him know that we were from out of town and he did not care he just kept saying that they could not do it and that was it. ItΓÇÖs very unfortunate that we have given our business to this gun center many times, and they couldnΓÇÖt even take that into consideration. Please think twice before going there!

I came in to check out some guns I was interested in and front desk guy Anthony approached my family in a rude manner. The white guy behind there was really cool about everything but it seems like Anthony wanted to kick us out. I had called earlier to see what the hours were and understood they closed at 4pm, and I mentioned that I already knew the hours. ItΓÇÖs 3:15pm even if I didnΓÇÖt buy today I couldΓÇÖve came back on a different day to make the actual purchase. I wanted to purchase a revolver already having what I wanted in mind since I checked their stock online, and wanted my wife to take the 20 minute test. Other than him, store looks great, IΓÇÖd recommend at least checking it out, hopefully at least getting one of the good guys. Response to owner: As mentioned, I called ahead of time, got there prior to closing, already had a gun in mind but it was my first time in your shop. AnthonyΓÇÖs demeanor upon coming in was awful, instantly made my wife uncomfortable, I noticed and decided for us to leave. I understood the rules prior to coming in, she just wanted to take her test as she felt ready to finally become a new gun owner while I was going to ask the other guy about the revolver I wanted. There was no rush on anyoneΓÇÖs end, either way as you mentioned you guys closed at 4:00pm so there was plenty of time to be out before that. His attitude wouldnΓÇÖt have bothered me had it not made my wife uncomfortable. We havenΓÇÖt had any encounters like this one at any other gun shop and like I said, your shop is great, I went out of my way to drive an hour to visit even if I wouldnΓÇÖt have had time to make a purchase. He ruined that experience hence the review. IΓÇÖll gladly make another trip when I have time again to drive by but for now my review stands based on my encounter with Anthony.

This place is great. It's clean and staff is helpful and friendly. Range is typical, can't remember how many lanes, but I know it's more than 15. The fee is reasonable, my nephew and I share a lane, it's about $35 n change. You also get 1 free target, which is a plus. . I don't know if they charge for eyes n ears, I bring my own. All in all it's always a good time.

My first experience with Kings Gun Center I was impressed with their knowledge and selection, however, however after being place on a 30 day background by DOJ and eventually given a "undetermined" status, my experience went downhill very quick. I have never received an undetermined response before, which by law the FFL could release the firearm. They had no response for me as to what steps to take to clear the matter and charged me a 25% restocking fee. I asked the associate for a few days to research DOJ response and was given no opportunity. Had they advise me to download BOF 8016RR and get a livescan, I could review the undetermined response within 72 hrs and be able to clear up the issue. I understand that the issue was not on them, but being able to assist and communicate through such issues would go a long way. I asked to speak to the owner and was given no opportunity, I'm sure with his knowledge and background he could have explained things a little better. They have lost my future business which I know will not hurt them, because they have a great facility, but hopefully the owner can educate his employees to handle situations a little more professional. I feel like i got ripped off the 25%restocking fee..and on a $1200 gun that was not cheap! I also provide Non Profit services for local law enforcement and have had vigorous background checks, a simple phone call to verify character could have also gone a long way.
