LabergeΓÇÖs Farm

Q: I've been here multiple times and love it. However, is it open during the winter months as well?
A: There open all year around
- Ryan Sears (2 years ago)
A: I don't believe so but ask them
- Sir Luke Spiller (5 years ago)
Q: Is there an indoor range? If not does anyone know of any in Vt?
A: I think in Essex. 50/yr. Reasonable in my mind. I don't believe laberge does indoor at all.
- Sir Luke Spiller (5 years ago)
A: No public indoor range in VT at this time. Parro's in Waterbury is planninh to build one over the next year or so.
- Eric LaMontagne (6 years ago)
Q: I would like to do some target shooting in the next couple of weeks. Is there a membership fee to access the range?
A: No membership fee, but it's courteous to leave a small cash donation. Also be sure to find someone with the last name laberge, to ask permission.
- Eli Atticus Jager (6 years ago)
A: No
- Kyle Keppler (6 years ago)
Q: Hi, are you open to the public to shoot ? I live in New Hampshire with my so. And we would love to visit. We donΓÇÖt have any access to an outdoor range here unless you are a member. And the waiting lists are a year long.
A: They are open to the public. Just be sure to check in at the house first. You'll need your own targets and posts to mount them. The range is on a large farm so you'll be shooting in pits and fields. Occasionally certain ranges are closed for training days, so could be worth a call ahead if you're coming all the way from NH.
- Eric LaMontagne (6 years ago)
A: Bring a truck, the roads are rough and range 4 is basically inaccessible by car. Definitely call ahead
- Taylor Reno (6 years ago)
A: Yes but you have to get permission first. You have to respect their rules, and safety guidelines. Donations are always welcome, Have Fun Be Safe.
- Richard Sprano (6 years ago)
A: Nice place to shoot. Always check at the house before you shoot. Don't forget to leave a donation. The farm is accessible by car I have a 2014 Toyota Camry drive all over the range. They are dirt roads so you do need to be careful
- m tran (6 years ago)
Q: Anyone know the longest range there is?
A: They have a rifle range, and I estimate that it's 100 yards long.
- Noah Siddall (5 years ago)
Q: Do you have weaponry for rent or i need to bring my own ?
A: This is just a shooting range. You'll have to bring your own.
- Craig Holcomb (5 years ago)
Q: How old do you have to be to be able to shoot guns here?
A: If under 18 you should be with an adult if trying to get on to the firing range. To confirm this check the house across the firing range entrance. I am not the owner but someone who uses the range frequently. Have you had any gun safety courses anywhere?
- Matt G (6 years ago)
A: I second Matt's answer, just be sure to check with the owners. Be smart, responsible and respectful.

First time at this range today, spoke to a kind gentleman there before going in to make sure we knew where to go and that we were good to go. Very easy going, good experience. Would 100% recommend. Make sure to leave a donation in the box on your way out, they donΓÇÖt charge anything for entry!

Great place to practice target shooting!

Very nice place to enjoy your weapons. It is so much better than going to an indoor range with people breathing down your neck for their turn for a lane. It is also a good place to get your dog used to gun fire.

Mark and his family are the absolute best. Such a great property to shoot! Make sure to be safe while shooting, pick up after yourself, and donate on your way in/out to support the Laberges!

i live a mile down the road from this place and i thoroughly do not enjoy the sound of gunshots whenever i chose to venture into my backyard during the summer. i suppose there could be much worse places to put a gun range and the placement of this makes sense, but doesnΓÇÖt mean itΓÇÖs not annoying and sometimes frightening.

Fantastic spot! Very kind land owner, very lovely setup. Everyone respects the rules, everyone checks in with land owner before going on property to shoot. They allow small arms to large arms with multiple spots to shoot. The rifle range is about 150 yards I believe but donΓÇÖt quote me. Remember to check with property owners before heading in and respect the rules so that this range can stay active! Ps, if you got some spare money floating around definitely donate to the owner from time to time since itΓÇÖs a free admission range.
