Very mellow and low key. Steel targets for pistols and rimfire. Facilities seem well constructed and well kept. Stalls are spacious and somewhat protected from one another.

This is a fun, safe, and professional shooting range. The staff are professional and courteous. I had the opportunity to try both the paper and steel targets, and they were both very entertaining. I wish they had better steel targets, but everything else is great. You can also select from 5 different paper targets.

This is a well run, safe, and fun range. The staff is professional and polite, but they are vigilant and ready to be firm if a guest handles a firearm in an unsafe manner. The pistol area to the left is the most fun part of the range. From a single lane, a shooter can pick any one of dozens of steel targets in a small field or even "compete" with someone in another lane on a dueling tree. It's much more interesting than simply punching paper at a fixed distance (but if you're into that, you can). The rifle range to the right stretches out to a maximum of 200 meters. I think the distances are 25 & 50 or 50, 100, & 200, depending on the lane. Protip: Call ahead to make sure they're open. The website is unreliable. Protip 2: Bring your own bipod, bench rest, etc. They used to have sandbags but now they're gone. If you're going to use one of the range bench rests, bring something to protect your rifle from their steel rests. In the video I am posting, we're using the shoulder strap from my gun case. Overall I'm rating this place 4/5. It is a great outdoor range and would be 5/5 if it were open a few more days during the week.

It says they open at 9 but weΓÇÖre staying in the community and theyΓÇÖre shooting today at 8:30. Maybe a good place to shoot, but not very respectful to the community.

Not bad, not great, not terrible........an average place.......a bit pricey. First time here. Targets were good, perfect for the practice I wanted. Not sure why we had to wear a mask while standing there when no longer required in California. No problem.......I did as they required. Bathrooms are a steep long walk unless your extremely young and fit. Overall I was hoping for more but was not too dissapointed. Like I said....average. I'll be going back as there really isn't much choice in the area.

Depends on the day. One day super friendly, let me set up a chronometer, very helpful. Next time, said IΓÇÖd get a ticket for picking up brass during an hour long wait for a bay! Wow!

Well run, safe, with helpful staff. Do wish they'd open midweek ... Maybe Wednesday ... That stretch from Monday to Friday is a long time to wait. Plenty of parking and tables for family members or friends. Do bring good ear protection - it's required and needed.

Very expensive.. it was $15 for first hour then $12 per hour after.. however there is a 2 hour max time limit.. the one thing that really bugs me is the time includes the sieze fire period.. I set my targets at 200yards and its not right nor fair to anyone that they charge for the time of sieze fire especially since everyone has to wait for me to walk all the way out to 200 yards and back..

Loved this camp ground. First time camping and I did not know what to expect. The view was of the track and towards the adjacent side was the shooting range. Best of both worlds if your into motorsports of all kinds and love to shoot recreationally. The camp grounds itself had ok bathrooms and warm water for showering and I loved the fire pits and wood delivery service for a small fee. It also was a nice 10 min to a grocery store and 20 min to Monterey so, for us it was a solid stay and must to come back again. This is a go to camp ground for us in the future!

Awesome shooting range! ItΓÇÖs nice to shoot outdoors, and theres not a lot of echo. Has 15 minute shooting intervals and itΓÇÖs very fun!

I donΓÇÖt know why people are giving them such low ratings. Follow the rules and youΓÇÖll be fine, they do 15min rounds of shooting and then they call ceasefire to go check targets. ItΓÇÖs ranges range from 25-200 for rifles and 5-25 for handgun and shotgun range.

I donΓÇÖt know what the guy below me is talking about. The relays are ran in 15 minute intervals, with a cease fire called to give shooters a chance to look at their targets, so obviously they will make sure the range is safe for shooters to go down to look at their targets. I have never seen anyone kicked off the range, but I have seen shooters corrected for things such as rapid firing and handling weapons off of the firing line that arenΓÇÖt cased. As far as their hours of operation, they seem to be open as scheduled online, and from my experience, they post signs and let people know about upcoming closures, which are typically for races and other events. All in all, I enjoy shooting there, itΓÇÖs nice to be outdoors and not at indoor ranges where the sound echos a lot louder. Keep up the good work guys!

This place is godawful, they micromanage so much to the point itΓÇÖs overbearing, they tell you when you can load rounds into your mags, when you can go condition 1, when you can begin shooting, and to top it all off they run it in 2 minute relays with a cease fire call at the end. If you fail to follow any of these asinine rules they have youΓÇÖll be kicked off the range for a full day. I could go on and on but to top it all off they are rude and patronizing and only open when they want to open. YouΓÇÖre better off going to coyote valley clays for a good time.

Very well run range! Safe without being overbearing. All you need is a gun and ammo, they have everything else available or for a very reasonable price, including rests and sandbags. Of course you can bring your own but itΓÇÖs nice if you forgot something.

Professionally run with a variety of target options. Somewhat limited in range for some applications, but 100 yards is not bad. You can do short range for concealed carry practice, shoot steels, or set up targets further out. A focus on safety makes things comfortable. Call ahead as they close when there are events at the track.
